Guys, carbonara is made with eggs so it is quite yellow. You made a kind of Alfredo pasta (which is unknown in Italy). Still surely delicious, though. I'll try your version. Anyway, one of the closest recipes for carbonara that I've found is the one by The Vegan Corner. They used carrots and the look is great. So when I put some turmeric for the color and some kala namak for the egglike flavour in it, will it be like real carbonara sauce? Or are there more differences between these two sauces?
@@JustLikeRoxi You need also to replace the creaminess of the eggs. This is why I added the link to the recipe with carrots. They replace eggs quite well. Try it and let me know how it turned out ;)
