Crazy coming back to check this page out. When I was 23 I got hit with the the hardest levels of DPDR I think the human brain can produce. My DPDR always seemed to be far worse than everyone else’s story. (although that’s impossible to prove and also a symptom of the cycle). Went from 188lb to 139lb in 60 days. I dont experience hardly anything I used to with anxiety whatsoever. This channel got me out. It was and is the only way. Honestly i believed it saved my life. Thanks shaan. I simply cannot express my gratitude for the hard work u put in to push out these free bees for a lot of us.

Simplifying my life (getting rid of what I didn't want to do) and practicing low cortisol routine- slowing down in life helped a lot.😊
    Exactly, focusing on living life.

Oh my gosh!!! SO good to know the biology behind this!! Waking up feeling like I'm going to throw up every morning, and feeling extreme nausea for the rest of the day, was hell. Getting better now - 3 steps forward, two back, but improving all the time. The bad days are frustrating now cos I want to do stuff! But they don't feel like impending death like they did before xx

This is so me every morning. I wakeup to so much fear. If I sleep early. I wakeup at 03am. I will stay awake. So I would rather sleep past midnight and wakeup at 06am. I know it's not good practice, but anxiety has really messed everything

Anyone else get tinnitus noises on waking up as one of the symptoms? Seems like once the cortisol settles, it goes away but I'm not sure if it's related to GAD or not?

Ive been suffering wity this for the last four months.. Heart racing, handd and feet felt sweaty. Churning chest and stomach. But the worst is the doom thoughts.I suffer with health anxiety which got worse sfter s couple of bereavements. Im so fed up feeling like this. This morning i just kept repeating to myself they are just thoughts. I read something similar yesterday just focus on living and not the symptoms andi found I became calmer. Its early days. If i can do one morning at a time. Not going to be easy , i think i feared this happening every morning and consequently its turned into habit. Ok seems my body waits for my brain to kick in with the thoughts and then the physical symptons start.. so im going to do my best to let it be.

It kicks in automatically because anxiety is a systemic and autonomic condition. It will be there until it isn't. The only thing you can do is wake up and engage your mind as quickly as possible.

I"ve started seeing a therapist and it helped so much straight away. I'm not new to all of this, and was good for a long time, but started having problems again a few months ago - wish I'd gone to the therapist sooner now - and these videos are awesome, thank you so much for them Shaan

Don't pay attention to it ..let it be there . With time it won't be there once your stress is at normal level. The more you focus on it the more It will play. It's a part of the anxiety disorder.its more common than you think. If possible watch this video by Coach daniel erichsen interviewing a guy named Romi. They talk in some detail about earworms
