1 each for screens, 1 each for DDIs and 1 for UFC so 7 (I haven't got it all plugged in yet but that's what it looks like

OK so first question, are you able to plug the device in just to use the buttons and such while in VR.

yes the DDI has a different USB connection than the screen

Apparently the screens wont work with the vr headset on but if you use a monitor and helios or their own software it will work with it

hey John, I'm starting to 3d print your f-18 simpit with the provided STL files, (wonderful organization btw) but ive run into a snag with the UFC mount, i look at your setup and see two panels that screw onto the left and right sides of the UFC and connect it to the four assembled mounts, but the files that i have have no such panels. Am i missing a file or two?

@@Datttsnake I did, it turns out there are four prints under Burns' original UFC design that screw together that form a mount. I did have to drill two holes to screw the left and right DDI mounts to the UFC.
I didn't recognize the four mounting panels until almost a month later.

Saw option on winwing for phoniex vr option. How does it work with vr?

the exact same you just don't get the actual displays, but the buttons

@@DCSTex will the top gun Version displays work while using vr. I will mostly feel by braille while using my pimax but occasionally lift my headset and want to see the glory of the screens. Thank you for your time John

@@ajackson8926 unfortunately not, Its a DCS limitation, nothing winwing (or anyone really) can do. Hopefully ED changes that as mixed reality becomes publicly available. That is where I want to end up
