I think this song is about an actual alien/UFO. The alien was sent to a mission to study a dying/waste planet, to study the life there, if any. They did, found a few specimen for their experiments, more like abducting them or grabbing a part of them to study on. But the alien misses his home, but cannot leave until he is truly finished with his job. The alien wanted companions, friends to talk to, so he used the specimen to make clones of the life there to spend time whle away from home. Eventually he crashes and the life raids his "UFO" and his lab is destroyed.
Just a crack theory here, but what if the UFO was a bomb? They do glow radiantly. And here, Miku says something about her wish being granted and what if that wish was to die? Hence she says give her body back because she regrets dying. Also another part about more bodies and it describes the UFO as having swelling rings. That could be the shockwave. Forgive for my implausible suggestion, but I just wanted to share so people could correct me.
That's what I love about Kikuo's songs. They can have so many different interpretations, but they make everyone feel the same way. It's a masterpiece, I tell you. I also love how he combines different styles of music to give every song a distinct contrast but finds a way to make them compliment each other. I just can't express what joy his music brings!
I always thought this song was about a pedophile who tricked kids into getting into his van by telling them he was an alien and it was his UFO. He would play with them and they would have fun until his games were no longer fun for the kids and they wanted to go home. it would also explain the lifeless body remark. Plus he could be using kids to get new ones which would explain the lines at the end.
I listen to kikuo a lot knowing the translations and it doesn't concern or upset me ...but now for some reason this song is now making me extremely depressed
Of course. Listening to the song without understanding Japanese or reading the lyrics will cause one to believe the song is happy and upbeat while it's actually the opposite. I think that's the selling point.
No, I'm saying that if a person, not particularly you, listened to it without those things they would probably think it's a pretty happy song. That statement had nothing to do with your situation.
I know both are sung by Hatsune Miku, but is this song made by the same person who did Don't Look At Me In That Way? They have a similar style to them (at least in my opinion)
I think I know what this song means... Let me first say I love all of kikuo's music and I love this song Now for theory time... I believe this song is about a little girl(possibly boy) being kidnapped by a child rapist with a van (he calls it a UFO) which would explain why they are talking about them being taken by a ufo. At first it's all fun and games but the He starts abusing them and they want to go home. He then kills them which would explain them saying they want to go home and begging him to let them go home but he can't (not only because he is a crazy pedophile) because he has killed at least one of them. He also uses the children to get other ones which is why at the end of the song she says she gets taken, and says their bodies are limp and weak. Most of kikuo's songs are dark and have sick meanings (In a good way) and this song is no different. Welp hope you guys like my theory.
+Faucet Chair and also you have to remember the fact that Kikuo isn't your everyday ryo with songs about egotistical girls, Kikuo is a dark songwriter. He has written songs about someone strangling their lover, a girl being cannibalized by her father and other people, an aborted baby (or a kid who died in wartime), someone abusing their kid to the point that the kid killed himself. AKA, Some pretty dark shit. So, take it with a grain of salt.
Which is the one about lover-strangling? I know the second is I'm sorry, I'm sorry and the fourth is You're an useless child and... what the heck is about an aborted baby?
Why am I surprised the lyrics are depressing?! I've gone down this road too many damn times and I still manage to be surprised! Damn it, Kikuo!
This one is interestingly different.
Really gets you daydreaming.

Wait... he's coming out with a new song EVERY 2 WEEKS??!!!!! This is madness! Wonderful, amazing madness!

Yep, I think you're right.

For me it's a alien who wants to go back home.
This is one of my favorite songs by kikuo😍

Kikuo makes me so confused. Upbeat music with depressing lyrics..
You should try thinking more into its meaning instead of reading the lyrics and stopping there.
Arlie Daniel dont get me wrong. i get the bigger picture. kikuo is a fucking artist but you cant really tell me how to feel though

Yay Kikuo~ I think he used IA recently too, that's the first time I've seen/heard that I think
He actually made that song way back in...2012. It was for IA's demo. The second curse that he came out with is just a remix though.
Mizki Kazumi ah i see, i just saw ppl reposting them on other sites , either way it's a cool remix
Yeah. Kikuo's stuff is always great!
