People don't realise how useful this can be to some people
This is very useful to me right now. A few months ago I had a car accident, and my car was totaled. I can’t drive for six months because I have seizures. Right now to get around I’m using Lyft. I can tell you this, it’s very easy to use, and the drivers are very nice. Sometimes I draw up a little bit of convo with them, and they don’t mind it at all
Using Lyft soon for first time. This video is a lifesaver...at least saving me from embarrassment.
Thank you for uploading such a clear and detailed explanation. My mother is new to smartphones (lives in an area which only recently got reliable cellphone service at all) and will be using Lyft for the first time.
Only improvement I'd suggest is how to add your photo to your profile so the driver can more easily find you when picking up.

Pretty sure you can tip via card in app. The world's too modern now for cash lol!

twice now lyft has left me stranded. After completing the ride the app DOES NOT MOVE OFF OF THE RIDE but stays there for over 3 hours before going into the rating/tip mode and freeing up the app in order to book a return ride home. On april 5th I walked home. on April 11 I was able to catch a bus and then walk home. I am 76 and I cannot get ahold of lyft to fix this. If this is happening to me maybe it is happening to others too? ☹
So basically, this is the same method you would do as if you were to Uber
