Holy hell Martin, I've seen plenty of these iphone facial capture videos now, but your results are by far the best. Even better than what the iClone developers put together themselves. The lip sync is near flawless. How much time did you have to spend cleaning up the original capture?

Hi Martin, I’ve recently discovered the world of 3d modelling, blender and animating through your videos and others, and have really become interested delving into this type of stuff. Although I’m not sure what setup I would need to create projects and animations like these, like what type of PC would I need? Would a iMac be sufficient or would I need something more powerful and suited to the specific programs like Blender, Character creator etc?
So how much is the motion capture app for the iphone? Great tut btw...great ideas for compositing. And yeah, blender playback sux! That is why I have to redo animation sometimes cuz I can't really see it in real time...maybe time to go to Unreal 5?
Amazing as always! Could you also show us how to bring alembic from iclone to blender? While the character animations are easy to export, hair and cloth are kinda confusing!!
Got to get skingen premium. The 4in1 bundle has also very powerful other tools like human anatomy makeup sfx etc. I am really sick of blender character process, especially rigging issues.
Hey Martin! Great work just what i needed! How did you make the armor for the characters if i may ask. I tend to model all of my medieval armors in Blender by hand and it's quite time consuming since it needs to fit their body well. Thanks in advance!
When you import the Iclone character with the Acculips...the audio track does not come in automatically pleas explain how to sync the audio with the lip movements in Blender
If you have character creator 4, head shot and iclone, I dont understand why you would need to use Blender. I'm thinking about getting the Reallusion stuff, but am trying to be sure It does everything without having to learn a whole different program.
Can somebody tell me how to put armor on your character? Never used Blender much, and I’m completely new to animations, so maybe someone can help me get started?
How did you get the voice sync to export over to blender with the FBX? I lose the voice over when I move to blender.. Unless I have to re-sync the words with the lips again.
You could learn that, I think. I myself am proficient in rendering with Blender, and all my non-human assets are made there, so I did not want to swap tools.

You can’t model, simulate particles, use advanced shading, geometry nodes and much more that Blender offers.

Hi, I use Blender as my main 3D tool and have all the scenes set up there :-) Its just a preference.

I did not export it, I added it back in Premiere ;-)

Yes. Live Face, the better facial mocap, is a paid plugin
