- The 5 hour bus ride from Tirana and Saranda was a breeze. We sat back and enjoyed the most spectaular scenery out our bus window. The bus was packed, and we stopped for a bathroom/rest break about halfway through. There is not real bus station in Saranda, so the bus just seemed to pull up on a side street and let everyone off.

We don't recall the time schedule for the bus, but the ride was abut 5 hours long. Enjoy the trip.

Sorry I can't recall. It wasn't very expensive though.
How many toilet stops?
If I recall correctly, there was one 30 minute stop at a cafe.
Brian and Carrie made the same trip without the bitching.
What you experienced on the bus is normal. You're no longer in Canada. Get use to it.
I am sorry about your experience with the taxi driver. It's Albania after all. The 660 for the apartment is a little high for May.
