excellent video, thank you...I just carry my O degrees sleeping bag and use my jacket as a pillow, look for a Walmart ..or a casino or hospital and crash and have a nice meal a plenty of gas in my thank with the money I would have spent on the hotel industry....ho yeah I forgot. I'm lucky to have the one and only original 1998 crv Honda.
Im from romania
The story of these ruins is depicted in the 1986 movie "The Mission", with Robert De Niro and Jeremy Irons. It is now a classic, and worth watching! The musical theme was created by the Italian composer Ennio Morricone,
I love the background music, it's so lovely with the scenery, where can I find it?
Nice video. Encarnacion is pretty; the sunsets from the river beaches are beautiful; I am glad you liked the city,
Excellent video of beautiful Buenos Aires; thank you,
Good video, but it is Palermo, not Palmero; not a big deal by any means,
looks boring
We found it interesting & enjoyed it. Thanks for watching
Whether the U2 song is added or live it definitely shows how you’re feeling.
It was live music. That was the strongest alcohol taste I've ever tasted. Thanks for watching!
HVALA!!!
Thank you for watching. We're happy you enjoyed the video!
This is the most genius thing I’ve ever seen. Thank you!
We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching & Thanks for commenting!
The chaise lounge cushions is a great idea! Also, i imagine they would be somewhat mildew resistant and easy to wipe down. (I live in Florida, so humidity can be problematic)
Yes the cushions worked out really well for us. We could also stacked them on top each other and fold them up, which maximized our storage space & made packing our gear much more efficent. Thank you for watching, we hope you enjoyed the video!
You are a very nice couple; I enjoy your videos; safe travels!
Thank You for your kind comments & well wishes :)
The barrio Ricardo Brugada (La Chacarita) has a little over 10,000 people. It is a shanty town that floods easily whenever the river rises. All that land is government land taken over by the people living there. The government has repeatedly tried to take these people out and move them to housing projects somewhere else. However, they come back because of the location. In other words, La Chacarita is located where the action is, right next to the old historic town. For them it is a much better location than living away from the city at nicer housing projects,
Thank you for your insights & comments on our video. We appreciate hearing & learning about the places we've visited. We hope you enjoyed the video, we definitely enjoyed our time in the city. Thank you for watching & commenting.
I am from Paraguay, and I am glad you came to visit Asuncion providing such nice videos. The old historic downtown and historic places need better upkeep and restoration, including the large Encarnacion church, as you pointed out. There are so few tourists to Asuncion that this has been largely neglected, as you can imagine. The new commercial centers moved East of the City, with new shopping malls, restaurants, an active night life, etc. The most beautiful old mansions can be found along the main avenue, Mariscal Lopez. Safe travels!
Thank You so much for kind comments & other information about Asuncion. We are always happy to hear feedback from viewers like you because we get to learn so much more about the wonderful places we have visited, like your City of Asuncion. Thank you for watching the video & we are pleased to hear you enjoyed the video, we really enjoyed our time in Asuncion.
Incrível 🎉❤
Ficamos felizes que você tenha gostado do vídeo! Thank you for watching!
Nice video. Asuncion is full of old, charming, colonial buildings, many vacant at this time. You should have walked up the main Avenue, Avenue Mariscal Lopez where the most magnificent old mansions are still well preserved,
Thank You for the tips on areas to see. We'll definitely check out the Avenue if we make it back to Asuncion on another trip. We really enjoyed seeing all the great architecture in the city. Back home we don't get to see wonderful old buildings like here. Thanks for watching & Thanks for your comments!
Interesting video - thanks for sharing 👍👍😊😊

En Argentina hay muchísima variedad de alfajores que son los mejores y el chocolate es riquísimo . 🙋🏼♀️🇦🇷
Thank You for watching & Thank You for your feedback. We really enjoyed these treats & we love any chance to try out sweets, especially chocolate!
Nice video and thank you for the tips! May I ask do they require yellow fever vaccination certificate when you entered Paraguay? Thank you!
Hi, Thanks for watching and we're so glad you enjoyed the video. In terms of whether or not we required a Yellow Fever Vaccination to enter Paraguay, we're not sure. We came into Paraguay by bus into Encarnacion from Argentina & we were not asked at all about our Vaccinations. However, perhaps it may be a different case if you were to fly into Paraguay, they may have different requirements. We were lucky enough to have got our Yellow Fever Vaccination earlier in our South American travels on our 1st day into South America in Bogota, Colombia International Airport they offer the Yellow Fever Vaccination free to all travellers, and locals too, in the Bogota Airport. So In hindsight had we required Yellow Fever Vaccination to enter Paraguay we would have had it. Thanks again for watching the video.
@@RoxanneandLen There is no requirement for yellow fever vaccination at this time unless you plan to visit the northern region of Paraguay near the Brazilian Amazon basin. There is no yellow fever in the capital Asuncion or in the Southern region of Paraguay, e.g., Encarnacion and surrounding areas,
@@jgonz260 I just wanted to inform you that we were asked for a yellow fever vaccination certificate upon our arrival at Asuncion airport from Lima. We were also told that we do not need one, but we keep getting mixed information.
@@jaye_k I suspect it depends where you are coming from. Is Yellow Fever prevalent in Peru? I believe people flying in from the US, Canada, Europe, etc., are not asked for one,

All the streets there in Puerto Madero are named after women
Thanks for watching the video & Thank You for your feedback on street names. That's nice to hear that. Hope you enjoyed the video!
I just love a piece of choco, when having a cup of coffee. A perfect taste combination. My favorite, is Anton Berg marcipan covered with dark chokolate, with cognac or wiskey taste. Yum yum. If you find it, eat it 😁
We always love the chance for chocolate and coffee too. We'll give that sweet a try if we have the chance. Thanks for watching the video, hope you enjoyed it!
Sure, np, safe travels,
Thanks for watching the video, hope you enjoyed it!
Thanks! I enjoyed the small bits of history as well. Nice informative and low key video!
We're so happy you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching & commenting, it's nice to hear your feedback
Well done
Thank You. Thanks for viewing & we hope you enjoyed the video
Nice video except the sound was gone,
Sorry about the sound quality. Hope you enjoyed the video despite the sound & Thank You for watching
I dunno but in Parts of Argentina there is a Corta/Siesta for two hours and than the shops open back up at 5 and stay open till 8 or 9 from what I remember
Thank You for your feedback & Thank You for watching. We hope you enjoyed the video
Yes, the videos are nice,
Saludos desde Ciudad del Este
Thank You for your greetings & Thank You for watching, we hope you enjoyed the video
Yes, Ciudad del Este is an interesting place, no doubt. However, not everything is shopping. There are nice areas outside of the city, and you should visit Salto Monday, a waterfall, and the large Itaipu Dam, one of the largest hydroelectric plants in the world,
Thank you for your feedback & comments. We planned on seeing Salto Monday but when we arrived to see the Waterfalls we found that the admission costs were too costly for our budget & we had previously seen Iguazu Falls on both the Argentine side & Brazilian side so we decided to skip Monday Falls due to its cost. We had planned to also see the Hydro Electric Dam but our plans for that didn't work out. Despite missing those 2 attractions we really enjoyed our time in Ciudad de Este. Thank You for watching, we hope you enjoyed the video
There are direct basically non-stop bus routes with fully reclining chairs (coche cama in Spanish) that you can sleep in but of course these are more expensive; I believe the company NSA offers this,
Thank you for your feedback & comments & Thank You for watching we hope you enjoyed the video. When we bought our bus tickets we were under the impression that the tickets we bought was the only option that we had available. We appreciate you letting us know about the other options, Thanks again!
Very nice walk - thanks for sharing 👍👍
Thanks for watching. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the video!
Nice video. The main reason to close that park was homelessness on the part of people who would come in and set up tents, etc., quite unsightly. You would also see the same in LA and Seattle, etc.,
Thank You for your feedback & comments on the video. We appreciate knowing the reasons for the closures. We hope you enjoyed the video & Thank You for watching!
Welcome to Asuncion enjoy your staying dear Sir and Mrs. 🎉🎉🎉
Thank You for your warm greetings. We enjoyed the city. We hope you enjoyed the video & Thank You for watching the video!

¡Gracias por tu comentario! Me alegra que te haya parecido interesante.
For us as paraguayans this is one of our most liked national holyday destination. But you are right, it canot compare to Buenos Aires or Rio. In 2025 to 2027 the World Rally Championship (car racing) is organizing a race in Encarnacion. Trough this event, Encarnacion and Paraguay as a hole will get a lot more advertising in the world.
Thank you for sharing your perspective! It’s wonderful to hear how much pride Paraguayans have in their national destinations. Exciting times ahead with the World Rally Championship!
Greta video my friends! 👍👍😊😊This is amazing location 😍😍👍👍
Thank you 🤗
Does anybody even visit Paraguay?
Paraguay may not be the first destination that comes to mind, but it definitely has its charm and hidden gems! It's worth checking out!
@RoxanneandLen I’m from Brazil and I guess the most visited city from our perspective is Ciudad del’Este in the triple border region, I believe you might already know that it’s a very popular city for shopping, where many of us brazilians cross the friendship bridge everyday to buy all kinds of things and return home smuggling and misdirecting goods to avoid sales taxes. Besides this city, there’s not much more interesting things to do, not even in the capital Asunción, despite the development the country is experiencing in the latest years, hopefully this can change in the near future. I also noticed that is a very popular destination for Germans in the recent years, but I wonder why.
@@user-es9vu6cx6x Very good to know about the development, Paraguay truly deserves it and it shows. When I mentioned the smuggling is in the brazilian side of the border, our customs agents are heavy taxing those who try to enter with more than what is declared in their baggage.
@@MrAndreCoutinhoMuy bueno que aclares!!😊
Your video content is very good and I enjoy watching your videos. I personally love watching your videos and I watch almost all of your videos but your video is not getting any views due to some problem. If you want I can discuss with you about those problems. Hope if you can solve the problems then you will get very good feedback from the videos...
I have watched your TH-cam channel videos, your video content is very good.. If you focus on certain places, your views will be much better...As a TH-cam expert it is our responsibility to rank a channel...And a youtube channel gets ranked only when your videos show up in the browse feature...I want to help you with this... I look forward to your reply…
Great place. It reminds me a little bit of Ankhor Wat, Cambodia👌 Thanks for uploading this
I'm glad you enjoyed it! The similarities to Angkor Wat are definitely striking. It's such a fascinating place to explore and as a bonus, these ruins have much fewer visitors making it more fun to explore! Have you been to Angkor Wat?
@@RoxanneandLen Yes, i've been to Ankhor wat and several times to Siem Reap. I lived in SE-Asia 7 years. 6 years In Thailand and 1 year in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. But the infrastructure there was... horrible 😄 Bad roads, electric blackouts 2-3 times a week. It means : no aircon, no fan, no internet, no light, no TV, no cold fridge. So i must admit, i got tired of it. And flooding problems as well, in rainseason. After Cambodia, i relocated to Tbilisi, Georgia. Lived 4 years there. The best place i've been out of 46 countries. Why Georgia is no. 1?? Great people, delicious food, very cheap country, beautiful nature and a long hot summer. On top of that, it's only 4 hours flight from Denmark, instead of 10,5 hours to Bangkok and then from Bangkok to Phnom Pen and then bus to Sihanoukville. To much travel time. In SE-Asia, Vietnam is my favorite country. But all in all, Georgia is on the top. I can highly recommend both countries. I'm on a Balkan tour, heading home day after tomorrow. Will fly home from Ljubljana. I really enjoy your vids, because i've never been to S-america or Carrebean, so it's great to watch some vids from there 👌👍 Cheers from a travelling Viking 🇩🇰
@@venividiviking Wow! You must have many amazing stories. We spent a year traveling the world with your children in 2014-15 and spent a month each in Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Vietnam was our favorite too. We were planning to visist Georgia this fall but had a bit of a family emergency so had to cancel our plans. Really hope to get there next year. When we do we may have to pick your brain on what to do and where to stay. Would like to spend a month there. So glad you are enjoying our videos. Hope you are enjoying the Balkins, there is so much to see and do there. Just subcribed to your channel too. Happy travels.
@@RoxanneandLen Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Poti, Stepantsminda, Gori, Svaneti and Mestia is where i've been. Tbilisi as a base, coz i rented apartments, a couple of places there. But i loved to travel to Batumi by Black sea. Great place. You can visit Stalins museum, in Gori. Beautiful mountains up north. Caves in Kutaisi. Or beautiful Bordzjomi. And on every second hill top, there's some castle ruins. Many beautiful churches as well. The food: my favorite is Satsivi (chicken in creamy walnut sauce). Or lobio as a sider (beans in a clay pot). Or khachapuri adjarian style. Trust me, you'll love it, with a glass of fantastic georgian wine. Or you can take minibus to Yerevan in Armenia, for 50 lari, i think i paid last time. Eastern europe is a great corner of the world. Full of history, good food and nice people. I love that area. Next month, i will visit Bulgaria (only one day though) then off to Yerevan, Armenia for a couple of days, then a week in Georgia. November it will be Ukraine. When you visit Georgia, there's plenty of good cheap options, on airbnb. Now you've got some keywords, to do some 'homework' with. Thanks a lot for subscribing, btw 🙏👌 Stay safe and and enjoy life 👍
Nice cabin.
We agree!
Not the best. You need to explore more
Thank You for your feedback & Thank You for watching!
