I visited Albania in 2001 with my Albanian husband, who wanted to show me his country. We travelled around for about 10 months and lived in rural countryside. However, it was the most life changing thing ive ever done and I learnt about myself more. Sorry for the late reply! We booked it via Localrent. Some have bad experiences with this platform, but ours was pretty good. Where did you end up booking yours?
Great video! We want to spend a month in Albania. We’d love to rent a place for the entire month and just take day or weekend trips to surrounding areas. Would Tirana be a good place for a home base? Would you recommend renting a car for the entire month or is public transportation easy in Tirana and we could just rent a car for our other adventures to other cities? Thanks!
I suggest you rent a car. If you will stay many days in Albania, then you should visit these cities, Vlora, Tirana, Berat, Gjirokaster, Kruja, , Shkodra. Albania is very beautiful, every city has something to tell, it has history and ancient culture, the food is the best in the Balkans.

Yes we rented a car in Albania. It's easiest to rent it from Tirana. We used Localrent, but just be careful when booking. We double checked and contact the owner to make sure it was legit. Otherwise, you can also book with more reputable companies like Hertz, Europcar, etc.

❤ Thank you for fantastik innformativ, beautiful video, diskripsions…. Pleace do you have some information about living in Albania, in vintertiden too ? Where is it best to live, Tavernas, shop, praktical life ? 🙏🥰
Maybe you should find a Facebook group or platform with people who moved to albania! We don't have any knowledge about living there!
Im already planning for next year. Thank God I found you! 😆
Thanks a lot for the video. Did you rent a car in Albania? If yes, where did you rent a car, what is your specifically recommendation about rental car companies?
Yes we rented a car in Albania. It's easiest to rent it from Tirana. We used Localrent, but just be careful when booking. We double checked and contact the owner to make sure it was legit. Otherwise, you can also book with more reputable companies like Hertz, Europcar, etc.
Hi Guys - love your clips and thank you! Can I ask, did you come across bears or wolves while out in the wilderness?
No we didn’t see much wildlife in the mountains! They are supposed to be there but people haven’t really seen them…
Hi, If I use Saranda as base to go to Dehmi, Kasmil and Himarë is a bad idea?
