    Just bottled my 4th batch I don’t tend to buy rose wine but this one is top notch and got to say yours looks amazing mate

    Looks really nice done 2 of the wilkos Wines and they were both good, not a Rose fan but yours looks good! Just bottled second batch of rhubarb wine today and gotta say wine is so rewarding to make!

      This is an amazing wine and turned out perfect. Not tried a rhubarb one myself sounds like a good one :)

    Be careful with your carbonation as standard wine bottles can't handle pressure...

      It was under carbonated if anything, but thatns for the tip and will keep it in mind :)

      I had a kilner bottle explode once and a plastic bottle rip itself apart. That was with cider and ginger beer respectively though. Both without extra carbonation. I think it had started on the second fermentation which could explain it. The plastic bottles were rock hard and swelling. I’ll keep an eye in it next time and let gas out.

      I was reading about ginger in brewing that it will ferment if you add it in secondary due to extra sugar, also had same issue using coppers bottles, had to burp a whole batch of beer as they were solid

      Not tried it myself, might do a ginger beer at some point and give it a try :)

      Sounds like a right messy problem and well worth looking out for it in the future :)

    What did you use to carbonate?
