- This comparison may be controversial, because most people will believe that the Audi e-tron GT should be compared to the Tesla Model S. At first glance, yes, but I will prove to you that these cars have more in common than you think.

Model S Plaid with make this Audi looks like it is going in reverse gear in any race. These Audi are just too slow, too overpriced, too overhyped and the worst is that these car manufacturers keep releasing new EV every other week without thinking or investing in any charging infrastructures that can compete with Tesla's vast and reliable supercharger networks. No matter how good a Ferrari is, it is just useless without having petrol stations around.
I have a Tesla M3P. Ngl if i had purchased an Etron GT and i took off at a light and the m3P was neck and neck with me, id be pissed for paying double.
That being said I love the model 3 performance. But ngl, EtronGT looks much better imo

Where did you see tesla model 3 under 30k? On tesla website it says 28k but it does not mean it is true. If you calculate basic model 3 with financing, it comes to 49k!
Ya they kinda missed the mark there on their basic research. The dual motor performance is easily more than 30k.
I own a Tesla model 3 with the 19' bigger rims and it feels like a go-kart. I Don't have any problems cornering in it and combined with the instant torque it is a blast to drive.

Audi brand vs Tesla brand.
Not meant for everyone.
Should had compared it with the new updated Model 3 Long Range. It has much better suspension and is much more quiet and comfortable than the old one.
I need an SUV, with 4wd and good clearance. It needs to go 400 miles on a single tank and I want a high up driving position. What electric car is there for me?

@@rs2131 I just googled it, that is NOT a suitable vehicle. I need my car to be able to traverse mud, we get mudslides often. And on top of that theres farm tracks and all sorts I need to navigate.
Also $80,000? I dont have anywhere near that kind of money. My current Jeep has cost me about $30,000 with all its modifications.
They want us in electric cars, they need to build one that can actually replace my current car and for similar cost.
why does it need to go 400 miles? The Etron SUV is a great car.
Because I live on the west coast and distances are huge. There arent many chargers either. If I take white pass to the Yakima office its a 300 mile round trip through very cold conditions with no chargers, my Toyota makes this on a single tank with room to spare and the heating on@@ronald4life1
Why would you compare two cars with a price difference that big? Next up VW Gold R vs Porsche GT2RS ...
The point he is trying to highlight is that these two cars are identical in terms of practicality and performance. In fact, I would argue that Model 3 is, in fact, better. Therefore, it makes little to no sense to buy the e-Tron GT unless you want the prestige and luxury associated with an Audi (which, arguably, is not much). Might as well get a Porsche Taycan if you're willing to shell out over $100k USD.

it has been decades everyone know that apple doesnt do the best product but people buy for other reasons.
So I agree with @matzebuehler, whats the point of doing this comparison, these cars arent on the same segment . these arent marketed the same way
@@Criminelsoyeux A couple of things:
1. Apple actually does make high-quality products. People aren't paying just for the brand name.
2. I don't consider Audi to be a brand worth paying more for over Tesla. To me, brand recognition of both manufacturers is more or less the same. If you truly care about paying more for brand name, you would just buy a Porsche.
The reason you don't see the point is because the way Model 3 is priced. If you show these two cars to someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars and you told them these two cars are priced the same, they would believe you.
This video isn't going to encourage someone who wants to buy a Model 3 to buy the e-Tron instead. However, this video would discourage anyone considering buying an e-Tron because it's arguably worse than a car half its price.
To point out how bad VW group is losing their BEV competition after boasting they would crush tesla.
That Audi seems incredibly overpriced for its performance. Sure its got better leather stitching and panel gaps but paying double for that? No way. Also don't like the childish-aggressive look.
And this comparison might explain why this or next year Tesla would surpass Audi in sales. Keep in mind Tesla has already surpassed Audi in revenues and profit and in terms of assets Tesla is a much bigger company now. The Germans are clearly struggling to make good EVs and their real advantage now is basically suspension and brake systems. That's it! Their cars are not as fast, the charging infrastructure is not realiable or anywhere near Tesla, the tech inside is basically whatever the tech sector can give us which is still nowhere near Tesla. In any high-end Tesla you basically have PS5 hardware inside and access to steam. You can even plug mouse and a keyboard and play games. You have access to the FSD which doesn't have a competition from Germany. I mean not just Audi but all German brands are not competitive at the moment. Their relevance comes mostly from their name

@@adilakbar4657 Sorry, it doesn't. At least not in the US. E-tron GT starts at $107k and the Taycan starts at $91k USD.
I see more taycans than audi etron's so if you want to be "special" i guess ?

Etron GT shits on every Tesla model out there . How you going to compare a German made Audi who’s been in the market for over 60+ years . The paint of an Audi the density of frame and parts are way way reliable than any Tesla
