Hi Jimmy, very nice and informative video as usual, thank you. You are spot on on the main battery need replacing, I done 2 of these with that fault behaving exactly as you showed, spot on Jimmy and thanks for the video.

Jimmy i have recently had to replace the black intercooler hose on mine as it went in limp mode found hose split in two places it was a bit of a faff doing it on my back on the drive and don't have ramps bought a code reader cleared the fault now all ok I've seen you doing them so must be a very common fault .

Jimmy I suspect there has been a previous issue/problem with that pipe being too short, most likely someone reduced the length by cutting it and that may be why the internal was crushed? It was fortunate that you removed the airbox to get to the sensor otherwise you may not have seen the problem?

Camera settings, select manual focus or infinite

Question about the two hoses. If you buy aftermarket ones and the inside holes are smaller on both then the originals. Would that give you a higher pressure sensor reading?.

      No.
The hose is just allowing the pressure sensor to obtain a reading and nothing is typically flowing. (Exhaust gases flowing through rubber would melt it. Probably why some small leak has collapsed the inner.)
Electrically, a thin wire will still show the same voltage (pressure) as a thick cable, but not be able cope with a flow (current).
Whilst I have a DPF in my car, my answer is based on I'm an engineer/physicist and not a DPF specialist.
Smaller internal though? They'd still have to be able to connect to the pipework.

@@stevekelly5166 I purchased some aftermarket ones and the holes are a smaller diameter. It still fits on the sensor legs but made me wonder if the pressure might change, thus giving a different sensor reading...

@@YarmouthMark Stop wondering or worrying, the pressure seen by the sensor will be the same. It's just a pipe in this case with nothing flowing through it. And you saved £££.
