Corgi refurbished Batboat Glastorn with trailer No. 107. Toy diecast model.

- The Batboat was the first version or "tin fin" version (1967 - 1976). Although the Bat-boat was actually blue, Corgi chose to sell it in black. This first version of the Batboat had a "flame" decal on the side of the hull, similar to the real Batboat. In the video, you can turn on subtitles in your language with a commentary on the action. Like the Batmobile of the era, the trailer had metal hubs and rubber tires, although they were smaller than those on the Batmobile. The Batboat was held to the trailer by two spring-loaded plastic hooks that gripped two corresponding hooks on either side of the boat's hull. All Batboat trailers were painted gold. Later, the trailer had two pins that went into holes in the boat. The new boats had changed decals and their trailers had different wheels. My copy had no wheels at all, but thanks to the help of a friend from England I was able to make copies of them. I also used the forms of Batman and Robin from the Batmobile project. I glued decals from the first version of the boat. It was more similar to the original film. Similarly, I made a box from the first year of production. Loved my Batmobile and Batboat. As I'm sure you can imagine my Batboat didn't survive the countless missions at bath time and generally getting squashed in the toy box lol.

I had this one as a kid. The bat boat ended up in the bath a few times, but it didn't float so well. The plastic boat got smashed at some point, and the all metal Batmobile out lived it by years. I lost the bombs for the Batmobile early on and used broken up spent matches instead. Corgi made good toys that have lasted decades of wear and being chucked around the attics and closets.

I remember when it first appeared on the market. Bloody expensive at the time for something that was nearly 100% plastic. I loved the Batmobile, though. I wish I still had mine.

I have no clue about that series, I tried to watch one episode, but the humour was too much "inyourface" for my tastes. :) but I imagine their props changed every now and then.

I had the car and the boat on trailer, all In one long box, bought new at the time of release. Also had a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as well. Never opened them. I don't know what happened to them. They were In My Mum's display cabinet. Anyway nice job on this one.

I am famous for my knack for getting stickers off tricky surfaces in one single piece. I have done it time and again. The real trick to it is to remove it very, very slowly. Let it take as long as it takes. Never, never rush it. The sticker will, every single time you rush it, tear in the most inconvenient place and make it doubly difficult to get the rest of the way off. No, never rush your task. Once you get it begun, slowly,ever so slowly, remove the sticker just as fast as the adhesive will let you. If you do this, your sticker will come off in a single piece every time. Mark my words.

Fantastic Job as always!
