- The transfer of Matchbox production to Macau has significantly improved the quality of the cast models produced. They regained their suspension and optically attracted their buyers more. This is the Ford Escort Cabrio. In the video, you can turn on and off the subtitles in your language describing individual activities. I decided to use the fact that the model has a hook and added Lesney caravan renovations from 1977. Both toys were complete. They required new paint and packaging. I regenerated the yellowed glass. I soaked it in 12% hydrogen peroxide and irradiated the glass with a UV lamp for 6 hours. The plastic of the glass was quite specific and it did not want to discolor. Instead of a paper sticker on the trailer, I painted a Ford-colored stripe, which brought the two models together. The Ford box was universal, while the trailer box was dedicated. Niesamowity zestaw nam przygotowałeś, Paul. Gratulacje. To prawdziwa uczta dla zmysłów. Ford Escort III i IV (1980-1990) jest symbolem klasycznego piękna i elegancji lat 80-tych. W polskiej TV rozreklamowany za sprawą popularnego serialu ,,Dempsey and Makepeace na tropie" (1985-1986), w którym tytułowa bohaterka jeździła Fordem Escortem Cabrio. W pierwszej i drugiej serii kolor jej samochodu to srebrny, w trzeciej - diamentowa biel. Ford Escort Cabrio pojawił się także w włoskim serialu ,,Ośmiornica" (wł. La Piovra) z 1987 r. [sezon 3 / odc. 7/7]. Powracając na grunt brytyjskich seriali telewizyjnych, warto jeszcze wspomnieć o ,,Bergeracu" (1981 - 1991), ale nic w tym dziwnego, jeśli porównamy daty produkcji filmu i omawianego samochodu. Dziś, z perspektywy czasu, Escort Mk III i IV jawi się jako ikona stylu wspaniałych i niepowtarzalnych lat 80-tych. Ze znanych osobistości, do jego entuzjastów należeli min. Lady Diana Spencer i George Michael. P. S. : Mam to autko i ja. MATCHBOX, made in Macau, skala 1:56, rok prod. 1985. Diamentowa biel z niebieskimi pasami. Wszystko pięknie, tylko jak tu holować przyczepę, jeśli haka brak. [?] ;-)

The way you cut those display boxes reminds me of the glass work I do with the patterns . Same style and you place everything to be efficient on the pattern , beautiful ! That's a great restoration project , of the Ford Escort XR3i . Excelent finishing and painting and the final result is absolutly remarcable . Jakieś 35 lat temu kupiłem w "Pewex-e" taki sam model, tylko biały. Miał fabryczną wadę; farba złaziła z niego jak skórka z pomidora. Prawie w całości obrałem tą skórkę-farbę, a to co zostało tak jakoś przyschło i stwardniało. Była to dla mnie wielka tragedia
