I first want to say I really enjoy listening to your videos. They're very insightful. However, I disagree Quaithe is a follower of R'hllor. You made a great observation about Quaithe's mask being similar in design to the red priestesses' chokers, but that is only for the tv show. The writers of the tv show may had assumed Quaithe was a follower of the Lord of Light but I highly doubt George R.R. Martin intended this. Why would Quaithe warn Daenerys about Moqorro if they believe in the same god? It's because they don't. In the books, George R.R. Martin implies the religion of R'hllor is a sham and the priests are charlatans, which is true in Melisandre's case. They incorrectly interpret visions based on what they see and what other people want to believe. The red priests in Essos think Daenerys is Azor Ahai because she best fits the description. If Jon been in Daenerys place in Essos instead then they would believe he is Azor Ahai reborn. There is a lack of communication between the red priests because they have no means to communicate such great distances apart. Quaithe on the other hand has a glass candle and she's certainly not letting Bennero, Moqorro or Melissandre use it. Also I think Quaithe is Shiera Seastar for a few reasons. There is a significant reason why Quaithe was the only one out of the three representatives of Qarth who spoke to Daenerys in the common tongue. She is Westerosi, not Asshai'i. Also, in Daenerys dreams Quaithe's mask was made of pure starlight. It's no coincidence Quaithe appears to Daenerys again in the Dothraki sea as a guide. Shiera Seastar is meant to be a play on Stella Maris, who is not only the Virgin Mother but also a star sailors use to navigate in the sea. It's also not a coincidence the Dothraki word for star and comet is 'shierak'. Daenerys just so happens to follow the red comet shierak to Qarth where she meets Quaithe for the first time? As far as being a guide, Quiathe's prophecies are literally telling Daenerys where to go. Quaithe wants Daenerys to go to Westeros, not Asshai by the Shadow as Dany assumed. She wants Daenerys to go east, not west... perhaps south too if it led to where Bran is in the land of always winter. If the world of Ice and Fire is round, then Westeros is east of Asshai. Even if Quaithe is not a Westerosi, she is still not from Asshai as the books and wikis say. Her full name is Quaithe of the Shadow. Asshai is called 'Asshai by the Shadow. ' it's near the Shadow but not actually apart of it. This means Quaithe is literally from the Shadow. The city that's in the heart of the Shadow Lands is Stygai. It's a city that's rumored to have dragons amongst other things. Not. A. Coincidence. Well... sorry for the comment being so long. This is just how I think... I gave a like to your video. :)

MAYBE the Lord of Light is a reader of the books and is a GRRM fan and is hedging his bets. Even the Lord of Light has no fucking clue who Aror Ahai is! Maybe Jon, maybe Dany, maybe even fucking Sam! So, he spreads around different visions regionally knowing that ONE of these has to be right. Just a theory.
I personally think that the lord of light only gives visions to explain to the red preist their purpose. Melessandra purpose is helping king snow so that is all she sees. On a positive note that means king snow is super important and won't be permanently dead anytime soon lol
She is from Asshai which is the easternmost place in Essos and she has journeyed all the way to Castle black which is the northernmost place in Westeros ( if you only consider the seven kingdoms). She has journeyed quite far.

Melissandra acts like someone who has been BURNED ! The Onion Knight kept her from Stannis' side at the battle of Blackwater. Her fix-it strategies didn't work to put Stannis back on track. She ended up being wrong about Stannis; he and his army were destroyed. BURNT ! ! ! ! Mellie learned that real life can overwhelm prophecy. She cannot waste time arguing with Jon or his protectors including Davros. Jon coming back to life is everything to her. It renewed Melissandra's faith. She has to get this fight for humanity going in a winning direction. Supporting Jon and Dany is our best hope for victory in the battles to come. Best way to avoid Davros and watch Jon's back is being disguised. Would Arya see through her youth disguise ? Probably. Mellie is risking much at a time her powers are weakening. She also needs to muddy the waters. Mellie must keep people like Varys , Davros , and Arya off her trail. She has told Varys a truth and a lie. Solution. I think Dany fits the prophecy of the prince that was promised but it's a little to obvious for GRRM in my opinion, I'm still convinced Jon is the PTWP or both of them are. Then again I love Jon so I might be bias
I think the Followers of the lord of light are like many other religions we have in our own "realm" there is the Bible and there are baptists, christians, Catholics etc. all interpret and praise God differently. When dibbing and dabbing in magic there's too much room open for Interpretation which is why everyone has the same info but all are interpreting it differently.

For those who couldn't tell, a lot of this is book stuff. She mentioned a few things that are different in the book. Tyrion, not Jorah, got greyscale, for example. Also, young Egon isn't in the show, but it is a major plot line in the book.
Incorrect: At least in the case of Melisandre...Jon's resurrection was paid for with the life of the little princess (daughter of Stannis)...And we do not know if Thoros of Myr sacrificed anyone...intentionally or otherwise

The reason Melissandre is so focused on Jon is because he's the embodiment Song of Ice and Fire, the one that is said to bring an end to the king of the white walkers(AKA King of Night, not a coincidence) who is the main enemy of the lord of light, so therefore Jon is of immediate interest and this is why he allowed Melisandre to bring him back to life.
The Perfumed Senaschal was the name of the original ship Tyrion, Moquaru, and the dwarf girl were on that sank. Then they got picked up by the slavers with the exception of Moquaru who goes with Victarion.

OH!!! I have something interesting to say about fire when it is around Daenerys Targaryen!! The other day my husband pointed out that whenever Daenerys is getting ready to strike with fire, you hear that strange sound, specifically noticed when she calls her dragons to strike. However, we noticed that sound started when she was in the Dothraki temple seconds before striking the Khalasar & his Kos. We both wondered if it was Dany using some sort of fire magic that's handed down to the Targaryen's. Just an interesting idea from the shows that isn't in the books.
"Remember who you are." When said to Dany, given her memories of childhood are inconsistent, at best.. (lemon trees and wooden doors in Braavos, running on grass).. (A storm when she's born that crushes an entire fleet, but then Ser Willem Darry was able to smuggle them on a *ship* ? It's weird. Maybe not on the show, but certainly on the books, I don't think her birth was like she thinks it was. I kinda buy the Bonifer Hasty + Rhaella Targaryen theory. Preston also theorizes she might have been on Dorne and be part of Doran's plan.
They were smuggled some time after the fleet was lost, when the Targaryen troops meant to surrender them to Robert. Personally, I think Bonifer + Rhaella does nothing for her story arc. Doran is too smart to let them be in Dorne. IMHO
I think the character was added to the book to make some predictions for us, dany is having trouble interpreting quiathe's words, she might as well have told her nothing. Danys path is not gonna be influenced by what she is told much
The books are called "A Song of Fire and Ice". Life is all about duality. The prophecies are all about "the 2 shall become 1". Fire and Ice uniting. So Dany is fire and Jon is Ice. You need both. OR since, Jon is half fire and half ice himself, is HE the only one that's needed?
Melisandre is likely a heretic, running rogue using different Intel. If the rumor is true that she is the child of Bloodraven and Shiera Seastar, she may be blessed with greensight - and conflicting messages coming from the light and the dark. Just as Thoros planted a vision in the flames for Sandor to see in season 7, Bloodraven could have doing the same to Melisandre.
My theory on this issue: It is already established that the technology for sending dreams, thoughts, visions exist in the world, e.g. glass candles, weirwood trees. It seems more likely that whoever is sending visions to Melisandre, Benerro, etc (if we assume the Red God or some top level secret Red Org or BloodRaven's Red equivalent), he/she/they are sending them different visions on purpose. If we assume that this entity/group is the opponent of the Great Other (the Whitewalker Head Honcho or Whitewalker org), then it would make sense that they would send visions to their adherents to further their own agenda. For example, Melisandre was sent visions to encourage Stannis and Jon, because in that part of the world, Stannis and Jon were in the position to fight the Whitewalkers. Whereas in Essos, the one with the most potential to fight for their cause is Daenerys with her dragons. TLDR: IMHO, the Red Priests/Priestesses got different memos on purpose, to further the agenda of the vision sender.
The Perfumed Seneschal could be Varys, or the ship that Tyrion and Moqorro were on, when they were trying to get to Daenerys -- which could mean that the prophecy was sent to Quaithe before that ship was wrecked by a storm.
I hope they didn't close this chapter yet, since Melisandre did her part!! it will be more interesting know more from them!! And if they gonna pay a role on the last 3 episodes!!
Daenerys saw flames of blue (dead Viserion), green (wildfire) and black (Balerion blew black flames). I believe Daenerys’ dragon eggs were laid by Balerion and maybe when Drogon gets bigger he blows black flames too.
I have to say there are two prophetic characters that drive me nuts and they are Quaithe with her obscure comments, If only Dany would tell her to just SHUT UP! Quaithe is the daughter of Ned Stark and Ashara Dayne. Jaqen H'Ghar is Rhaegar Targaryen and Harry Strickland is really Aegon Targaryen (a servant's kid was swapped out for him before the Mountain got there to kill them)

I think the difference between Melisandre and Quaith is that Mel is too vain and ambitious to be vague. She will draw specific conclusions from her visions, and share them, even if they don't warrant it. She is not content with I told you so. She wants to lead the charge.
These 2 Red Priestesses are sister wives of Aegon The Conqueror. They are Visenya Targaryen and Rhaenys Targaryen. And yes, they have vital part in final season!

I don’t think Mellisandre brought Jon Snow back I believe it was the Old Gods. I think Jon warged into Ghost and when it was time, Jon was brought back. Mellisandre asks Jon what he saw while he was dead. He tells her blackness. The Three Eyed Crow tells Bran not to fear the dark, there’s safety in darkness. Jon was being kept safe and maybe being prepared for what he will have to do. He may even been given powers he hasn’t realized yet.

cristian alvarez GRRM was inspired by M,S and T... in those books the prophecy is heavily misinterpreted by all the characters. I think the same thing is going on in ASOIAF. Azor Ahai/ TPTWP cannot be a good thing.

I don’t think that Melissandra can’t interpret visions, I just believe that she believed in the right thing. But the right thing was within the wrong person. You see, it seems as if she was wrong about everything because of circumstances of Stannis not being the rightful King all because of Jon. Jon by blood right belongs on the iron throne. I believe she just didn’t know where to find him amongst the flame in her visions because Stannis was the only logical explanation at the time. But now she knows who the true King and is getting it now. Jon is of Fire and Ice. I believe that the Red Priestess who is with Daenerys might be using her because she of Fire and fire alone. Fire kills and they know that. Maybe the Red priestess’ are those who list. As Quaith said. I hope they don’t corrupt her. Because I don’t think they care about anything involving ice because it correlates with The Other. The enemy of the god they serve ultimately I believe that Jon is a mediator of Ice and Fire. Daenerys being the Prince that was promise seems a bit too obvious along with the Stallion prophecy. But then again, I could be wrong.
What if Dany has been charmed to forget who she was? I believe Dany is actually the daughter of Ashara & Brandon (or possibly Ashara & Raegar). The house with the red door was in Dorne where she was raised. I assume that Viserys was also charmed to forget so they could be raised as brother & sister. Quaithe wants her to remember. (I also suspect that Quaithe is Ashara)

Here's my theory on why Dany can't be Azor Ahai (don't know if others have said this). The prophecy was introduced to us (the readers) after Dany already woke the dragons. Makes it seem like GRRM intentionally wants us to think its Dany. Its too easy.

I just don't understand who the Red God is and why it's identity/origin/purpose vs the Children of the Forest isn't of more curiosity. It seems like it's The Red God vs The Others (created by the Children) - why do they battle each other? Shiera Seastar is meant to be a play on Stella Maris, who is not only the Virgin Mother but also a star sailors use to navigate in the sea. It's also not a coincidence the Dothraki word for star and comet is 'shierak'. Daenerys just so happens to follow the red comet shierak to Qarth where she meets Quaithe for the first time? As far as being a guide, Quiathe's prophecies are literally telling Daenerys where to go. Quaithe wants Daenerys to go to Westeros, not Asshai by the Shadow as Dany assumed. She wants Daenerys to go east, not west... perhaps south too if it led to where Bran is in the land of always winter. If the world of Ice and Fire is round, then Westeros is east of Asshai.
Even if Quaithe is not a Westerosi, she is still not from Asshai as the books and wikis say. Her full name is Quaithe of the Shadow. Asshai is called 'Asshai by the Shadow. ' it's near the Shadow but not actually apart of it. This means Quaithe is literally from the Shadow. The city that's in the heart of the Shadow Lands is Stygai. It's a city that's rumored to have dragons amongst other things. Not. A. Coincidence.

MAYBE the Lord of Light is a reader of the books and is a GRRM fan and is hedging his bets. Even the Lord of Light has no fucking clue who Aror Ahai is! Maybe Jon, maybe Dany, maybe even fucking Sam! So, he spreads around different visions regionally knowing that ONE of these has to be right. Just a theory.

Melissandra acts like someone who has been BURNED ! The Onion Knight kept her from Stannis' side at the battle of Blackwater. Her fix-it strategies didn't work to put Stannis back on track. She ended up being wrong about Stannis; he and his army were destroyed. BURNT ! ! ! !
Mellie learned that real life can overwhelm prophecy. She cannot waste time arguing with Jon or his protectors including Davros. Jon coming back to life is everything to her. It renewed Melissandra's faith. She has to get this fight for humanity going in a winning direction. Supporting Jon and Dany is our best hope for victory in the battles to come.
Best way to avoid Davros and watch Jon's back is being disguised. Would Arya see through her youth disguise ? Probably. Mellie is risking much at a time her powers are weakening. I think the Followers of the lord of light are like many other religions we have in our own "realm" there is the Bible and there are baptists, christians, Catholics etc. all interpret and praise God differently. When dibbing and dabbing in magic there's too much room open for Interpretation which is why everyone has the same info but all are interpreting it differently.

For those who couldn't tell, a lot of this is book stuff. She mentioned a few things that are different in the book. Tyrion, not Jorah, got greyscale, for example. Also, young Egon isn't in the show, but it is a major plot line in the book.
Incorrect: At least in the case of Melisandre...Jon's resurrection was paid for with the life of the little princess (daughter of Stannis)...And we do not know if Thoros of Myr sacrificed anyone...intentionally or otherwise

The reason Melissandre is so focused on Jon is because he's the embodiment Song of Ice and Fire, the one that is said to bring an end to the king of the white walkers(AKA King of Night, not a coincidence) who is the main enemy of the lord of light, so therefore Jon is of immediate interest and this is why he allowed Melisandre to bring him back to life.
The Perfumed Senaschal was the name of the original ship Tyrion, Moquaru, and the dwarf girl were on that sank. Then they got picked up by the slavers with the exception of Moquaru who goes with Victarion.

OH!!! I have something interesting to say about fire when it is around Daenerys Targaryen!! The other day my husband pointed out that whenever Daenerys is getting ready to strike with fire, you hear that strange sound, specifically noticed when she calls her dragons to strike. However, we noticed that sound started when she was in the Dothraki temple seconds before striking the Khalasar & his Kos. We both wondered if it was Dany using some sort of fire magic that's handed down to the Targaryen's. Just an interesting idea from the shows that isn't in the books.
"Remember who you are." When said to Dany, given her memories of childhood are inconsistent, at best.. (lemon trees and wooden doors in Braavos, running on grass).. (A storm when she's born that crushes an entire fleet, but then Ser Willem Darry was able to smuggle them on a *ship* ?

Preston also theorizes she might have been on Dorne and be part of Doran's plan.

The books are called "A Song of Fire and Ice". Life is all about duality. The prophecies are all about "the 2 shall become 1". Fire and Ice uniting. So Dany is fire and Jon is Ice. You need both. OR since, Jon is half fire and half ice himself, is HE the only one that's needed?
Melisandre is likely a heretic, running rogue using different Intel. If the rumor is true that she is the child of Bloodraven and Shiera Seastar, she may be blessed with greensight - and conflicting messages coming from the light and the dark. Just as Thoros planted a vision in the flames for Sandor to see in season 7, Bloodraven could have doing the same to Melisandre.
My theory on this issue: It is already established that the technology for sending dreams, thoughts, visions exist in the world, e.g. glass candles, weirwood trees. It seems more likely that whoever is sending visions to Melisandre, Benerro, etc (if we assume the Red God or some top level secret Red Org or BloodRaven's Red equivalent), he/she/they are sending them different visions on purpose. If we assume that this entity/group is the opponent of the Great Other (the Whitewalker Head Honcho or Whitewalker org), then it would make sense that they would send visions to their adherents to further their own agenda. For example, Melisandre was sent visions to encourage Stannis and Jon, because in that part of the world, Stannis and Jon were in the position to fight the Whitewalkers. Whereas in Essos, the one with the most potential to fight for their cause is Daenerys with her dragons.
TLDR: IMHO, the Red Priests/Priestesses got different memos on purpose, to further the agenda of the vision sender.
The Perfumed Seneschal could be Varys, or the ship that Tyrion and Moqorro were on, when they were trying to get to Daenerys -- which could mean that the prophecy was sent to Quaithe before that ship was wrecked by a storm.

Daenerys saw flames of blue (dead Viserion), green (wildfire) and black (Balerion blew black flames). I believe Daenerys’ dragon eggs were laid by Balerion and maybe when Drogon gets bigger he blows black flames too.

Quaithe is the daughter of Ned Stark and Ashara Dayne. Jaqen H'Ghar is Rhaegar Targaryen and Harry Strickland is really Aegon Targaryen (a servant's kid was swapped out for him before the Mountain got there to kill them)

I think the difference between Melisandre and Quaith is that Mel is too vain and ambitious to be vague. She will draw specific conclusions from her visions, and share them, even if they don't warrant it. She is not content with I told you so. She wants to lead the charge.

I don’t think Mellisandre brought Jon Snow back I believe it was the Old Gods. I think Jon warged into Ghost and when it was time, Jon was brought back. Mellisandre asks Jon what he saw while he was dead. He tells her blackness. The Three Eyed Crow tells Bran not to fear the dark, there’s safety in darkness. Jon was being kept safe and maybe being prepared for what he will have to do. He may even been given powers he hasn’t realized yet.

I don’t think that Melissandra can’t interpret visions, I just believe that she believed in the right thing. But the right thing was within the wrong person. You see, it seems as if she was wrong about everything because of circumstances of Stannis not being the rightful King all because of Jon. Jon by blood right belongs on the iron throne. I believe she just didn’t know where to find him amongst the flame in her visions because Stannis was the only logical explanation at the time. But now she knows who the true King and is getting it now. Jon is of Fire and Ice. I believe that the Red Priestess who is with Daenerys might be using her because she of Fire and fire alone. Fire kills and they know that.

What if Dany has been charmed to forget who she was? I believe Dany is actually the daughter of Ashara & Brandon (or possibly Ashara & Raegar). The house with the red door was in Dorne where she was raised. I assume that Viserys was also charmed to forget so they could be raised as brother & sister. Quaithe wants her to remember. (I also suspect that Quaithe is Ashara)

Here's my theory on why Dany can't be Azor Ahai (don't know if others have said this). The prophecy was introduced to us (the readers) after Dany already woke the dragons. Makes it seem like GRRM intentionally wants us to think its Dany. Its too easy.

The pawns (the main characters in the entire story) only serve these two gods....shouldn't these two gods then be what everyone theorizes about?
Is it just me or do U guys want 2 see Quaithe in S8? I would also want 2 know who is her identity.
