    Thanks for the video, replaced same on Dynasty spa. Found new colored plug trim pieces inside the power supply compartment of the replacement unit. I was surprised how much water flowed even with shut off valves closed. Good video.

    This is awesome. I have been searching high and low for information on this spa pak. I also have a Dynasty Spa and the ID number on my Spa Pak is very close in number sequence to the one you pulled out of your spa. I have a feeling that you are about to save me a ton of money. Thank you for making this video.

    Great video! A few questions: 1) Did your new Pack come with the same options? I ask because I'm having a heck of a time finding the same options of 1-2-K-K-D-60K-V2-DY1, 2) from what supplier did you get the replacement pack from?

      Hey Norm.
      Sorry it has taken so long to reply. Now that Im home more, due to the pandemic, my wife has a long list of things to do.
      The new unit did have the same options as well as the ability to upgrade with wireless control, which I did not order and plug in. Its been a while, but I'm almost positive it was DirectHotTubParts.com. There are slight differences in those pumps based on how many pumps you have and if any (or all) have multiple speeds. For instance, mine had 2 pumps and a blower. Pump 1 (2 speeds--low and high) and Pump 2 (1 speed only--high). Depending on your particular set up, read the description for the Gecko codes (mine was 0602-221063-299, I believe) and that best matched my setup based on the updated models. I also, cross referenced several sites to make sure that model would replace my older and no longer supported model because some sites will show that in the description and some will not. I hope this helps. Let me know if you there is anything else I can help with.

    I’m trying to figure out why mine won’t work a bunch of codes show up on the top board

    • @averageguyvideos2970
      @averageguyvideos2970  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The codes can be tricky. Most are universal to the brand but some features come with different codes. If you have the original manual, obviously you can use that to narrow it down. If you don’t have it, exhaustive internet search is all you have left without contacting a dealer or repair person. If your tub is having symptoms of an issue, I would research which part relates to that issue and see if a code matches to that part. It’s a process of elimination. Hope that helps somewhat.

    Just out of curiosity. My top side control panel gives me an HL error which based on my research means a high temperature issue at the heater element. Is that a similar issue as what you experienced? You mentioned an HR error. Not sure is that is the same thing.

      Sorry it took me so long. I just saw this after an 84 hour week at work. My code was for the heating elements stopped working. Spa was not heating at all. If yours has been over heating, and I’m betting it would shut itself off to not damage the pak. Either that or one of your pump motors may be heating up under load and the pak is shutting it off. I’m not a pro at spas, but I did have to replace a pump motor because it would over heat and I can’t remember if it gave me an error code for it. I just kept noticing a pump would stop after so long and I had to wait till the next day before it was working again.

      @@michaelwilliamson7531 No worries on the response delay. I’m sure you’re not sitting at your computer 24/7 checking for TH-cam questions. Lol. I appreciate the reply and the additional information. It’s already been helpful in figuring out the Spa Pack removal which should help me with troubleshooting. Thanks again and have a great day.

      I believe it was Partswarehouse.com but if you take the new Parts ID, I would look for the best deal available with the best ratings. Hope that helps.

    ‘Great video! By chance did you check the fuses inside of the connection box on the unit to see if any were blown?

    • @michaelwilliamson7531
      @michaelwilliamson7531 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I did some troubleshooting at the inside breaker, outside breaker as well. It all pointed to the spa pak and its still working great.

      Thank you for the reply. I'm not sure if I was clear about that. I was referring to the four small fuses inside the spa pack.

    • @michaelwilliamson7531
      @michaelwilliamson7531 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I checked the 3 fuses resting beside the 220V power connection inside the pak. If there were other fuses inside it, I was unaware.

    How did you program it?

    • @michaelwilliamson7531
      @michaelwilliamson7531 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply. Been busy with Thanksgiving. It does not require programming itself. It does require you set the input Voltage (see about 10:21 minutes into video) for either 110 or 220 Volts. Other than that, programming the Spa is done on the top side control panel (temperature, run time, etc) and that will require the quick guide that comes with the top side control panel. If you don’t have it, then it will require some internet searching to find it. Once your enter the programming mode (which getting there is different depending on manufacturer) the settings show up as codes or abbreviations, so without the programming guide you would need to be an expert and have them memorized. I hope some of this helps.

      How did you figure out 7 was what you needed when programming? I’m asking bc I’m have trouble getting pump 1 to turn on. I’m trying to figure out how to program in.xm2. Any info at the point would be much appreciated!! Thanks!

      @@tristinnapoleon7087 I apologize. I’m not sure how I missed the notification of your post. I can only hope you found the answer to your question after all this time. If The P1 connection is not loose on the Spa Pak and the top side control panel shows it’s trying to engage the pump, my only thought is the pump itself.
