    Great video I just installed the exact same thing. I just wish you covered the install of a blower and aux power supply as well.

    Hey, thanks for the advice. Managed to set B32 by holding down the program button for around 20 seconds. Was originally b13. So looks like now set to 32amp breaker. Heater light flashes when secondary pump is on. Think this means heating is suspended. Not sure if it is possible for it to heat while secondary is on. Shows heating while on pump setting 1.

    Hi, any idea how to set these to 32amp mode? I was told there should be a dip switch but summit said my model automatically switches. Obviously not now.

      Gecko JY series does not have DIP switches, breaker setting can be accessed and set from the topside control panel. Reference the quick Start card that came with the new unit, section 4 shows the steps. It does not automatically switch to the correct breaker setting. Which topside control panel do you have?

      Top side panel is in.k330. Unit inside spa is I .yj-v3

      @@richardrobey7062 For the K.330. Press and hold the "light" button continuously for about 20 -25 seconds or until you see the breaker setting appear on the display which may display as b.40 (Possible default). With the temp up/down button toggle it to b.32 if you want breaker setting to be 32, then touch the light button to save the changes and the system will then reboot with the new breaker setting.

    Hello, do you know if it is possible to turn off the light on the control panel of an aquaterra spa newporter? Use that Geko control system

      Are you referring to the backlight of the keypad that illuminates the buttons etc?

      @@cristhianherrera8775 Its not possible to turn the backlit part of the keypad off, the keypad will stay lit as long as there is power to the spa.

    Can this model be connected to an external heat pump? Thanks

    • @Poolandhottubdepot
      @Poolandhottubdepot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It cannot be connected to any regular heat pump. It does however work with the Gecko brand in.temp heat pump if equipped with RS-485 communication port which most of these 2018 and newer have in North American market. www.geckointemp.com/specs

      @@Poolandhottubdepot Thanks, the problem is I don't see any of the gecko heat pumps in Australia and from what I read most likely also don't have the RS-485 communication ports as standard in the already built spas.
