Oh hi there, today we have a 10 minutes daily stretching routine that you can do pre and post workout. Easy to follow along with me while I guide you step by step on 10 min full body stretching routine. As safety practice habits make sure to do each exercises to your own level, so that you lower the risk of injuries.

ABOUT ME
Hi dancers, I am Yelena!!
I'm a Professional Ballet Teacher graduated from the National Ballet School of Cuba in 2011 and the Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher (RAD RTS) in 2021. I hold a BA in Ballet Teaching and Repertoire, and currently studying my second BA in Dance Teaching Studies.
Here I will be posting ballet tutorials every week designed for dancers of all levels. You will find ballet lessons, pointe work routines, Classical Variations and flexibility and strength follow along tutorials. The tutorials will be hold in english and Spanish at times, as well I will use both ballet techniques, from the Cuban school and the RAD.

I stumbled upon a lot of ballet videos on youtube and i am quite fascinated. I hope that with starting stretched and getting more flexible, i could start ballet myself some day (once i get over my social anxiety and the fear of being too old)
You've got this! I started ballet again at 45. You're never too old! :)
I've just started ballet again! If you've got anxiety over it I suggest first doing the little routines on youtube and working your way up to it that's what i'm doing! (and you're never to old!)
I can't even do that first stretch! 😬😭
you don’t have to go all the way down yk.. just go as far down as you can and that is comfortable for you :)
Like the comment below, you just find your own level of stretch and follow along from there. Each movement can be modified 🌸
A couple of sips of wine will help, getting buzzed will loosen you up.

I've been looking for many legs exercises for my weak thighs muscles and caused bad knee. And i remembered how many ballerina using their legs strength.
This so easy to follow and just like flow yoga. I will check your other videos hopefully it can help my daily routine exercises.

So many Hatha Yoga Asana, poses that is. Of great to see Yoga being validated as the ideal way to keep the body supple, and so important to be the safe and effective method for this demanding art form of ballet

I just recently started ballet as an adult beginner..and i feel so embarrassed in class since im very inflexible, hope these stretches will help with my flexibility 😅

I just realised how hard my stretching routine is
it does not need to be hard, just enough for you to feel the work!!! keep the hard work.

je suis trop raide pour commencer les étirements par un penché en avant les jambes tendues 😂
then take your time, stretch too your own level, keep bend knees, and stop where you feel the stretch, hold for no longer than 30 seconds at a time.
