I don't know much about speed runs but you have balls of steel for not standing on a milkcrate or something with that thing flying by that fast. props haaha
I'm with you boss, no way, camera man is smart. I like his video but can't watch.
I was thinkin the same no way whould i wanna stand infront ot that !
Lol, I always try to stand right behind a telephone pole when doing my speedruns in hopes that if it skids in my direction, hopefully it will hit the pole instead of me! 😆 I have had close calls. And at speeds of 100mph+, there's barely any time to react!!
Ive had a 1/16 scale rc going about 30mph hit me in the ankle. I was limping for a week. These could totally amputate you
4+4=8? Oh shit!!
Yesirrrrrrrrrr let’s go champ just bought that motor combo setup for my all carbon infraction can’t wait 😊
Upload a video 🙃
@@shhhh6986 rainy in jersey last few days soon we will be good again
Calm down Shannon briggs
Really wanna see a video on that!
Great run bro! I just had my first wreck today. 154mph open wheel limitless. Had trouble on deceleration
Best advice is never ever Jam on that brake mike or forget bout it tapping tapping tapping to it slows down putting pressure full throttle can heat stuff up and snap best of luck brother
@@angelteamnolimit624 I appreciate the advice man. It wasn’t an issue with braking. I’m posting a vid tomorrow or Monday that’ll explain more of what happened. Pretty bummed lol. I’ve made hundreds of passes and never wrecked before
@@MikeStallone it happens to all of us brother build destroy rebuild good luck for the next one Awsome speed brother
That 🍭 Paint tho 👀🤯😵... I had to keep rewinding to the switch to 8s right before the pushoff close UPS 😎💯🤦🏾♂️
The king of speed! Congratulations Brandon!
Wow!!! The speed runs are more bananas then the tires!!!!
Me sitting here watching it while staring at my 1:10 scale with a tiny brushless motor (topspeed 37 mph)
Lol
Same! 😂
Nice pass👍 good to see you change things around to see what happens 😎
Thanks Andrew! Definitely needed another flavor
🎉 congratulations 🍾🎉
Thank you!
WOW what a noise that makes on full chat 🔥 awesome 👍👌👍
153 MpH.. very cool. Congrats My Man
I like the 1717-1650kv that belongs in the XO-1
Awesome!
Amazing run
this is incredible speed for rc car
Excellent pass, congrats bro!!!
Dam that things really shifting 😂 insane 😜 sounds awesome as it passes too.
I struggling to find anywhere to run me felony on stock settings at full speed lol, let alone any faster 🤣
Love the paint job
Nice video bro 😎 !!! Watching from Paris ❤
Nice pass, ive been thinking about getting one of those motors. Nice pass
Sweet build! Straight violent!
Thank you sir! I really appreciate that!
I don’t own any TP motors. I use castle cans. But I’ve noticed the TP gets really hot. Is that correct? Amazing Video!
I like and watch every video. You the man!!
Thanks man! I appreciate you enjoy the content!
Tp "can" get hot. Any motor can get hot. You just need to gear it right and it'll perform great
Great vid man that is awesome.I keep trying to find roads in Ocala with no luck hopefully someday I can go with Steven lol
Straight pressure 💪🏾💯
Superbe pilote Superbe mécanicien
Freaking sweet! Wondering if you could somehow add a "starter" motor to give it a boost so you don't have to manually. Maybe somehow mount a gear to a one way bearing? Probably add more weight and resistance than its worth though...
I have builds that the fan isn’t touching the motor. Gotta do what you gotta do!!
Great Video.
Nice review.👏👏👏
Thank you for sharing a great video.
Have a good day. 💪😊💪
Very impressive. Awesome video!
What’s up bro you’re awesome dude
Crazy fast 😆
Add the 6s in series with the others and just see what it does lol
How can you even see it at that speed? amazing, just amazing. I get worried with a 25mph closing speed let alone warp speed like this. So glad you filmed it and posted for all to see. Am going to subscribe 👍🍺.
OMG
Awesome video
I can't see the car🤣🤣🤣
Very fast
I'm new subscriber from Indonesia👋
Greeting one remote from Indonesia👋
wow that sound! awesome!!
Just love what u do bro
Nice run!
Awesome bro
Thanks!
That’s an awesome run! I just ordered at TP power motor 4050cm 3190kv with a xlx2 esc for my erevo 2.0. You think I’m overdoing it on the kv rating? Also using 2 traxxas 5000mah 3 cell 25C lipos
What pinion are you running on
@@josephpeart4122 I was running 27/46, I since switched to the castle 1721 2400kv, on 34/36 I hit about 97mph on the erevo 2.0
TP motor go BRRR
A10 warthog style 😂
What gear setup do you run in spartan ??????
WOW 😳
Fantastic - love your videos! I finally received my Castle XLX2 and the 2028 1100 - and while waiting I got a TP5870 1200 kv. Do you think the XLX2 can feed that motor with enough amps without cutting out? They still does not recommend on Castle’s website to use +56 TP motors with their XLX2. Stay safe 😀
I think you can use TP Motors...you just have to make sure they're Y-wind motors and not D-wind. The Castle ESCs can't handle the D-wind motors for some reason. TP has charts with which motors are Y or D. Its the first column on the chart under "T" (for timing I guess). You just have to pick from the ones that are 2Y, 3Y, 4Y etc..
@@george91871 Thanks George - I found out about the Y and D issue with XLX2 after buying the TP motor - and it is a 5D motor :-) So I am wondering which ESC would be better to use for that motor?. I have a 300A ZTW pro beast on the way, and another alternative could be a Hobbywing Max5 that I already have which is a 200A - however I did not pay attention to the huge amount of amps that this particular 5870 5D motor actually consumes. So I am just looking for some advice, trying to avoid a melt down.
@@alexbirkenfeldt1566 I don't have much experience using this level of power but I seen some people who do and I watch their setups very close. Noticed a LHS owner in my area had one of these ESCs (see below) in one of his cars. He was running 16S. I'd do more research on the company though. He also was using MaxAmps lipos (www.maxamps.com) and QS10 connectors. The ESC site is www.fliermodel.com. They seem to specialize in high power ESCs for cars, boats, etc.
@@george91871 I did look at Flier too - those are 400 amps - and huge - I guess I could do the trial and error way, starting low on voltage (4S or 6S) and conservative gearing (1:1) and then monitor temps closely. There should be an update on the way from Castle that allows D-wind motors and large can TP - however I am not sure what they will do besides build in limitations perhaps to avoid overheating. Thanks again George.
@@alexbirkenfeldt1566 We all are learning I guess. I'm in the process of switching from Spektrum to Castle. Everything is trial and error. Spektrum turned out to be an error for me. Problem with trial and error is that it can get costly. LOL But that's what makes it more fun as well. Good Luck!!!
That car is bad ass
TP motor did not perform bad at all. Great job my brotha 👏🏼💪🏽👍🏼
151mph 4sho 👏👏👏
crazy. cool!
Sick bro! Are you done w the castle 1100?
Never done with the 1100. Just using another motor from a vehicle I sold
Holly molly, you guys took speed run up several notches. You guys will laugh so hard when I bring my rc with a 540 silver can motor hook up to a 6 cell nicad battery.
We all started with a silver can brushed motor and 6 cell nimh/nicad battery 😉 thanks for watching!
What gear in that setup bro?
This is much better and realistic than kevin talbots' project record car...
Glad you enjoyed the realism!
Awesome run brother just awesome I hit 111mph I’m trying to get to 150+mph any tips bro stay safe bro 🤙🏼
Thanks man! And great job taking steps up. Biggest thing I'd recommend is finding a road worthy of 150 mph. Need to stay consistent with the throttle too
🇮🇩 Amazing speed 👍
I like your video ✔
Where can you get the body?
Nice first pass. Curious to what you have more to show us!
Are you using any sort of anti spark?
Next pass needs to be with 4 of the 6000 mah CNHL 4 cell lipos. And also 4 of the 9500 CNHL 4 cell lipos. I believe you could break 160 with that kind of set up
I intend on trying 4 9500s, I don't have them yet tho...
Do you have any experience with leopard motors? if so, how would you compare them with tp motors?
Leopard motors perform like hobbywing and castle motors. High efficiency and torque, but not aggressive as TP. Of course variables of that depend on your setup and trigger pulls.
How do you do your alignment. Every one of your cars shoot straight. Any tips would help. Thanks
It's aligned for my road. Slight crown to the left. Compensate to the right. Rotate tires every 2-3 runs to ensure it's even
Hey dude who makes that kick ass motor mount setup?
Bob Mahoney, look up Practical prototype solutions
153mph for an rc car is mind blowing.
201 is the record
Make that 214 mph
Whats a good tp power kv for bashing n some speed runs on a kraton exb on 6s
153mph That is wild dude! Question,I'm getting my limitless Friday is the max8 2600kv a good setup? And what gearing? Not looking for crazy speeds! 60mph to 90mph and I'll be happy!
Looks like South Florida?
Indeed
I heard the castles are still alot more efficient but that tpr are the new torque king's is this accurate? I always knew castle as torque king's. The 1717 are insane for 6s 1/8.
Thats a very nice body on that car what is it and where can I get one? awesome work on that rin that thing is flying.
What gearing you running?
How did you mount those skirts to the stock chassis?
That thing is so fast it needs insurance hahahahha
the noise you discribe as a machine gun has not much to do with the force of the magnets , but everything with slots and a gap between it and the rotor , if you take an evenly powerfull lehner motor , you dont have any machinegun sounds to begin with ;)
Bro. Damn. You gotta share what gears your running. Is there a way I can pm you?? Please. Lol
what motor
Can someone explain how this thing stays straight and how it gets lined up straight from the u turn 🤔
It's built just for my road! It will go straight every time. It isn't built by recommendations, because who else is running my road? Set your car up for your road, not for what others will say that'll make you fast.
Can someone tell me where is this road located exactly? Going for a vacation in Florida and will like to run my RC here
Hey man where do i buy the tires i tried going on one website but it was a spyware website b
Sounds awesome, looks awesome, but man are you taking an enormous risk standing in the road as it goes by.
Please be super careful and stand at least 75 feet away from it. Maybe they’re a hill or slight hill just off the road.
Just a concerned watcher
Hi everyone. Can you please help me to understand the Kv on brushless motors? I would like to turn a monster truck (E-Revo) in to a fast speed run. SO, is it better a 2800Kv sensored or sensorless, or a 1900 Kv sensored or sensorless?? My understanding is that the 1900 will be faster but the 2800 will have more torque, so that I can achieve speed with larger gears. Is that right? many thanks
Opposite way around kv is like rpm. Rpm per volt. That's what k means 1000. V means volt. So 1000 rpm per volt. Higher kv more rpm and less torque. But more torque allows higher gearing. You can be fast with either. For a 6s setup I'd go 2800kv and 8s setup the 1900kv
@@InnovationRC You are awesome! thanks for that. would you spend one more minute in telling me your opinion about sensored or sensorless? many thanks
Is this motor similar to hobbywing 1100kv?
Is like to see what the tp 5684 would do being a small amount longer
Could you please give me the link the the motor mount please 🥺
What is the squiggly thing up front??
It is the quickbolt attachment to my gps so it doesn't fly out of the car incase of a crash. Zip ties won't hold in the event of one
@@InnovationRC awesome!! Super trick!! 😎🤘 Thanks 👍
@@InnovationRC so question. What esc would you pair with the kill mode tp motor? Max 5 or max 6? Or the castle? Castle has high kv problems...?
Sounds nothing like a 50cal, but nice set up
How much timing are you running on that big can
What gear setup are you running?
Holy sheep Dip Throbin 😂😉
What radio r u using?
I have a 2510 kv 6pole tp I have a xlx2 esc but I keeps bogging out the motor is the same motor as the one ran in the video just a higher kv 31 pinion 41 spur please help me my wires get extremely hot
👍
What gears you’re using
this is probably a dumb question, but is the motor brushed?
Brushless 😉
3 of those motors will give same horsepower as my VW runabout! 🤔
What controller do you use
It is a Futaba 4pm
Can you list what are your mods please?
what would you say is not warm at all, if you had to guess 90-110f or is is somting more, i just wanted to know what is "warm" thanks!
It's run, moderately geared, just under 100. His isn't moderately geared.
How do u steer going that fast? How can u see it?
You don't steer lol it's also somewhat easier to see in real life other than video
If you steer you crash.
how long your tires last
20-40 runs at full speed
@@InnovationRC you got a link for those tires ?
What kinda mount do you have for the ESC and where can I get one
Which tp is this the 4070?
I would love to understand what your on about
