    Thank you so much! Math is my favorite class and this year I was unfortunate enough to get a teacher who not only half explains things but when asked questions gives attitude. For the rest of this year you're my math teacher

    this is amazing how you can change my whole view on math. i was losing it with this "30 -60 -90" things, but now i feel comfortable. like you make it so easy, without the boringness of regular teachers and i love that there are students in the background because they ask the same questions i would love to ask. once again thank you! i think your website will ne my new favorite site :) Thankks and YAY MATH !!

    You are a wonderful teacher. Creative, artistic, personable, comedic, enthusiastic, and always dignifying your students when they give an incorrect answer. Such are the hallmark features of a remarkable and beloved teacher. Your parents must be exceptionally proud of you. I wish for you many more years of teaching and love from your students. I would say "God Bless You" but I am an agnostic, so I'll simply say, "God Bless You" ... what the hell, it can't hurt, right? (lol).

    This video has helped me better understand the 30-60-90 so that first, I may help students assigned to me for inclusion in Geometry class, but also so that I can point others to it so they can see you work your magic themselves. I'm going to provide the link in my Schoology course until at least mid-terms. You're a fantastic teacher. I'm on my way to viewing your 45-45-90 clip now. Thanks a bunch.

    Very good teacher by the way. I feel like the rules are irrelevant to remember as long as you know the 30-60-90 triangle diagram. Honestly, I feel the rules make the concept harder to understand. It is far more easier to use your logic based on using the 30-60-90 diagram. You must remember the diagram though, but it's easier to remember than all these rules.

    ive got a bit of a math problem which is just for some reason cannot figure out so a triangle, all the sides are 6.5 cm. what is the height? do I need to cut the triangle in half so as to make 3 triangles with 3.25 cm? HELP

    • @VanillaDazzle
      @VanillaDazzle 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Extinct Surgeon two and yeah you'd cut it and make a 90 60 30 then you'd get those side from this formula and you see that the cut side would be half the hypoteneuse... so you see in action the x and 2x sides...
      I know you don't need it now because this was a year ago but in case someone has a similar problem.

      @KKoSOKC 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't

    • @VanillaDazzle
      @VanillaDazzle 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      DPRODUCT360ps3 the 60 side is half the 90 side times root 3.... so if the 90 side is 20, the 30 side is 10 and 60 side is 10 root three. Just apply the first triangle.

    Some students who know the answers shout them out. The teacher takes those answers and continues to work through the problem without actually explaining how an answer that has been shouted by a student has been arrived at. The teacher finishes solving the problem by going according to the correct answers that have been given by other students. Not knowing some students do not actually know how a certain answer has been arrived at. The teacher still needs to show everyone how to solve the problems and not assume that everybody knows just because a few students shouted out the answers. Please work through the problem don't assume everyone knows how to solve a problem, don't teach at the pace, terms or behest of those who know, eventhough it might seem everyone knows it is actually not true, you would be surprised how many don't know and they would be missing out if you teach at the pace of those who know.
