This teacher is probably one of the best teachers ive ever seen, hes so close to his students and jokes around, yet he still explains so clearly and answers every question
Hey person 🙃, so here’s the deal,God loves you and wants you to experience peace and life- abundant and eternal. But we choose to disobey God and go our own willful and sinful way. This results in separation from God.But Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people. You must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation to receive that free gift and eternal life, think about this, have a blessed day 💙.
my daughter is an 8th grader and she didnt understand the way her teacher taught it and she struggled but after showing her this video she understands completely and makes A's on pytha and theor! I learned something too!
some math teachers are jerks that learn how to do the math a certain way.. they get haughty and subconsciously look down on students that don't understand right away. It takes a real teacher to teach.
Start with: a2 + b2 = c2 Put in what we know: 12 + 12 = c2 Calculate squares: 1 + 1 = c2 1+1=2: 2 = c2 Swap sides: c2 = 2 Square root of both sides: c = √2 Which is about: c = 1.4142...
Seriously, If all teachers in public school were like this the results would be astonishing. I'm not even in the classroom, I'm just watching the video and feel like I'm learning something and having fun with it at the same time. This is what education should be about. Not some snobby old person talking so low you can't hear or understand and assigning homework expecting it to be perfect. Please give this man a raise!
You're an awesome instructor. Huge props man. You are making a huge impact on your students. I watched one video of yours and, while I learned this stuff in middle school and high school, it's been 17 years since I've done it. You're quick, straightforward style made me feel like I was in the classroom learning it for the first time. Thank you sir. Keep doing what you're doing.
Thank you so much! It helps to have a teacher who keeps learning interesting. I am taking an online course and the book is not very helpful. For you younger folks(Grade 7-12)...PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS. You will find it so much easier when pursuing a higher education, or testing for a job.

Hey I really enjoy your method of teaching. You seem really into it, which is great, wish i had you as a teacher in Highschool, maybe i wouldn't have slept so much in math class haha. Keep up the great work man, the world needs teachers like you.
A teacher in Tamil Nadu, India went about solving as follows: Given Base = 8; Height=6; Hypotenuse = 7/8th of the base + 1/2 the height viz. 7+3 = 10 ; With Base = 24; Height = 10; Hypot=21+5=26 with 4 and 3 Hypot= 3.5+1.5=5 with 12 and 5 we get 10.5+2.5 = 13 Name of teacher: C Mahilvahanan. yaymath hey man apologize for all the racism you get in your comments, hopefully you don't take them too personally. you're a great (and funny) teacher. really awesome. you've helped me so much with homework lmao
well I can't watch it but what's it saying? If it's saying a teacher shouldn't be funny or whatever then I disagree. Those (to me) are the best teachers (if they stay on track ofc.) They get you excited and you learn more.
***** I believe you are a psycho. You going to try n shoot some shoes at me now punk? I wish I had a teacher as excellent and engaging as this gentlemen.
My maths teacher is amazing, yesterday he was talking to somebody who was late for a fraction club and he told him both his clocks were late and he just says to the boy what's that I smell sniff sniff bullsh*t

I homeschool my son and we are about to start a lesson on the Pythagorean Theorem. This video really helped me get a good grasp on the content. Thank you so much for sharing! Keep those math videos coming, please! ;)
That's a good point! Often subjects like Geometry, Algebra and Trigonometry overlap. Especially advanced exam questions will require you to use many different subjects. Here is a tip for Algebra: If you have an equation with two unknowns, you will need to create another equation to solve both unknowns. Otherwise the unknowns will just be in relation to each other.
You are a great teacher! Your class is fun and informative. You did a very good job stating the Pythagorean Theorem, and then showing great examples of how it is used in terms of right triangles. The jargon was not overwhelming, and the terms used were explained well. However, I believe that this topic is a great way to introduce students to the history of math, math proofs, and the importance of math in their daily lives. This theorem is very important in other branches of math and real life, but students ignore it because they aren't taught its application.
tart with: a2 + b2 = c2 Put in what we know: 52 + 122 = c2 Calculate squares: 25 + 144 = c2 25+144=169: 169 = c2 Swap sides: c2 = 169 Square root of both sides: c = √169 Calculate: c = 13
What an excellent teacher. I am only here because I had no idea to solve these equations in a C# programming class. This guy has a good personality and relates to the class well and the class was participating!. My math classes in high school, everyone sleeping or doing something else because they were so boring. If this was my teacher in high school I probably wouldn't have to be looking this up as an adult in college for a lab project in computer science.
hello, I always watch your TH-cam math lessons. I really like the way you teach. yaymath is really an awesome channel. This helps me in my homework's whenever I don't get my teacher's discussion in our class

I'm 25, just went back to college the other year and doing geometry for the first time since 2007. Thanks for the help. There's something else we are doing that's not in our book that's confusing the hell out of me, too. Something involving algebra, and changing signs. On some problems, the signs change and in others they don't. Not sure what the specific name of these types of problems as my instructor did them on the board. I'm 1 point away on my final grade from being exempt from the final exam, but I'm not getting the hang of geometry at all.
