- Math money, baby! In this important lesson, we introduce the concept of proofs in Geometry. We start with a quick run through of some common properties such as the transitive property and substitution property, then we solve two proofs. The first is an algebraic proof, then the second one is a brief one on segments. I'm dressed as Money Math, so join and help me throw money at the problems, literally. YAY MATH!

Lol I'm homeschooled so for math I basically teach myself, I used khan academy and learned math 3 math 4, and then precalculus all in a few months. Needless to say, I didn't learn much

I don't understand, algebraic proofs are simple, but when it goes to geometric proofs, my mind goes blank

Thank you so much. This helped me understand it so much more than my teacher has ever tried. But the ones we did in class were more complicated. This was somewhat easy. Could you please do harder proofs?
Dude, you're the best teacher ever! My teacher didn't even try to ease us in, just threw us to the sharks and I'm one of the best students in my class so that is saying a lot. The one who does the best in our class has to look things up online just to be able to understand it. But I hated proofs but now that I've watched this, I think I'm starting to like them. They make sense now!

On my worksheet, in question 5:
Angle 1 = Angle 2
Angle 1 = 30
Thus
Angle 2 = 30
You have it listed as:
Angle 1 = Angle 2
Angle 1 = 30
Thus
Angle 2 = Angle 3
But then you changed it to:
Angle 2 = 30
This confused me when you changed it. I understand now, (you just didn't have the same numbers on the worksheet, you just put what you had as the answer) but I should probably should have not needed to think much about how you did that.

Can you say that this is a subtraction because you are subtracting 2x from 8x = 6x?
sir with all do respect you do not get to the point, we don't come here to joke around but to educate ourselves. please just explain to us how to do it. it's very aggravating trying to learn and your given more info then we need.
