- In this video, we'll be unveiling the Mind Blowing Transformation of our Lawn. This project began as a simple desire to help my dad get his garden and lawn back!
By uncovering the brick pathways and unveiling the transformation, we hope to inspire others to take on similar projects in their own lives. From small change to large transformation, let this video show you the way to a better lawn!
This video focuses on the front gardening section of a HUGE lawn transformation that my wife and I are working on for my dad. Stay tuned for the rest of this series!
This video showed me she loves you and wants you to succeed. You were the man and did the hard work and she raked and picked up helping in every way she could. Also I loved the way you took over on hard stuff. You two make a good team.

Hi. Well, that looks tremendously Better!! The brick is still in good condition. And you got a bonus birdbath! Those are expensive now. I have some tips for you. To remove those shrubs that you cut down to the ground, you need a spading fork. might even have one in that garage? It looks like a pitch fork but has a shorter handle and the tines are thicker. it jabs into the dirt easier and then you can just go around the base and rock it back and forth until it loosens up and then cut the roots with a pointed shovel. Dont use those thick mats of roots as dirt fill. Things will grow out of it that you dont want!! Always cut bare branches as far down as you can, as in the ones at the bottom part of the large yew that you trimmed. When you trim the top, make sure someone holds the ladder for you. Small trees that start at the base of older trees are called suckers, and you should cut those at the base. Other good tools for pulling weeds out of dirt are the hoe for chopping and cutting, and a cultivator for pulling them out, while leaving the dirt. If you want a veggie patch, you will want these for sure.

Good job! FYI to make things easier Amazon has a mini chainsaw that is great on scrub brush and small trees. And Stihl has as awesome gasoline back pack blower that only weighs 12 pounds. Super light weight for us women to use. Good luck on this new venture!

@@WeLawnCare I bet! It’s exciting! Also just a thought as you are cutting or ripping up/out items and raking leaves and other debris. If you have a tarp laid out you can toss the “stuff” in it, then drag to your truck or bin. Helps reduce the amount of raking and then re-raking it over again. ❤️

Nice job guys. Both of you did a very tremendous transformation. Its not easy to remove thick layer of earth. Trimming and cutting plant and bushes. Keep it up. (You may once in a while look back at your video for future improvement and how you would/could do it differently.)

15:15 : I noticed you being drenched in sweat.
Been there done that. You might think a thin T-shirt is best, but it's not.
Best wear poloshirts, the thick cloth kind. The thick cloth absorbs the sweat much better, and lets is evaporate. Much more comfortable.
Best in a darker colour to camouflage the sweat. Also have at least one spare handy, so you can change you shirt during the day.

Thanks, and we got a tad sick of it ourselves 😅 There are a lot of areas that have holes, roots sticking up, and uneven ground...we tend to have to blow out more often to make sure no one falls or gets injured 👍 we will do our best to alleviate some of this in the future

That Blue Willow is such a Negative Nelly. The lady was working when the guy was doing something else. How do you know that the guy wasn’t screwing off when he wasn’t in camera range? Good job, but...
Please try to reduce the use of the blower to a minimum. The blower kills over 90% of all insects (spiders, bees, bumblebees and wasps) that nature depends on.
Often a normal broom will do the job...

Thanks! There was not poison ivy in that area, however we did come across some scattered throughout the yard...we have sprayed it ahead of time to help us stay safe :)
