My Rotts only eat when I feed them, they will not accept food from anyone else. They have been trained that way so that they don't end up eating poisoned food (yes, its really common where I live). You re only talking about a plate, I used to train them with a whole leg of goat/sheep. I once had to pick up a chunk of meat that was several days old, only found it lying in a crevasse because of the smell. They didn't touch it.
I can fill my rottweilers food bowl with meat, tell him to wait, go to work and when i get home the damn food will still be there. This dog has no training

@Andreas Evans-Adamecz he is not well trained at behavior at home, thats for sure. He steals food like it is nothing. If I catch my rottweiler doing that, he would be so ashamed, he would not look at me for hours! So the fact that he actually takes the food is nothing I think about, every dog would have done that. It is just the lack of respect for the owner....and that is the owners fault, i lost all my respect to him as soon as the dog jumped the table in front of him...
Dogs understand every thing..! If you had got seriously annoyed he'd have bolted with a guilty face. He understood it was okay to eat from that plate just for the day!😂 He is such a cutie and you are a good dad😂
