My experiences...
Had a terrible fungus gnat infestation last year. Couldnt get on top of it. I ended up taking the plants outside and totally repotting. I sprayed the roots with diluted hydrogen peroxide 3% and then rinsed them well. That killed larvae and the adults flew away outside. Then I used the sticky traps that you set in the planters to deal with any remaining flies hanging around the house and stopped over watering.
I love diatomaceous earth but didn't find it effective with the gnats. And unless you skim it off your soil, it will mold also as its left there and watered.
I keep a spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide and lightly spray the top of the soil if I see one or two. It kills them right away.

Hope it works our for you!
Let me know how you go in a months time. You should see a dramatic reduction. But be on top of it because once they start laying more eggs it will be an ongoing battle. 😊

I think I’ve seen one fungus gnats on my Calamondin after I’ve seen your video. I tried to order the Pyrethrum and they wouldn’t ship it here to California. Is this product mainly just in Australia?

Interesting. I’m from Australia so it might be called differently there. But I looked online and the active ingredient you may be looking for there is ‘Pyrethrins’?
See which products you have there with the active ingredient.
