I did the water thing and once it started opening I put it in soil. In a week the stem has grown and has tiny leave growing at the top. I'm so excited

My avocado has taken a turn for the worst and I don't know whyyyy. Browning leaves, all the leaves have fallen off and I've recently reported, cut some dead roots and trimmed back the stems that were left. 😭 I don't know what else to do.

For pest control outdoors. I have used tobacco tea on my citrus and avocado plant and it seems to work so far. I simply sprayed the tobacco tea while misting the plants. I saw that bugs were no longer eating away at the leaves.

What can I do differently, I grow my avocado tree inside but only grows about 3 leaves at a time & they droop & die. It's by a window but not in direct sun. It is about 12 inches but the leaves do not grow.

I remember how Florida beauty was too expensive before 2-3yrs ago where 1 leaf cutting can cost you 250-300$ in Thailand, and i got mine when it dropped the price in 2022 for only 50$ for a lush ones with 6-7 leaves. Now, during the mid quarter of 2022 i fell inlove with anthoriums so i started out collecting jenmanii & hookerri which also quite expensive especially those with premium varigations even up to the recent market price, unfortunately i have to stop collecting as they take up huge spaces for my little humble garden, so at the last quarter of 2022 shifted to focus on green anthoriums or those heart shape anthoriums which i didnt regret collecting it until now. From dec of 2023 til this month of january i think i bought around 20 different varieties from overseas and from local sellers. If im going to purchase again i might consider Eddy Pranoto’s Hybreeds… esp the Papil Elephant, and some of his red spider’s & papillilaminum hybrids…
