Gulaorou and Guobaorou are two different dishes. Gulaorou is more common in southern China, while Guobaorou is more common in northern China. Food in northern China and southern China is different. You should try different cities cause every city has their own unique style of dish. Although hotpot is eaten everywhere in China, I heard Sichuan has the best hotpot ever. Anyways hope you enjoy your trip!
