There are a few reasons why western countries don't want their citizens to visit China. Especially the U$A. 1st to see all the Chinese super infrastructures. 2nd how China is able to keep the public areas so clean, green and organized. 3rd why China is so safe even for foreigners. 4th. How the Chinese education system is able to educate the people with such a huge population to be so disciplined. 5th. To see how the Chinese government has taken care and done for the Chinese people providing them with great infrastructures. Yet the Chinese pay very a lot less taxes compare to western countries. If those western countries people visit China and see all these, they will realize how useless and incompetent their governments are compared to the Chinese government. With so much taxes they're paying, yet their useless governments are not able to provide them the same infrastructures, cleanliness and safety to the people. That is why their governments and government controlled media keep lying to them about how bad China is. How undeveloped China is and advises the people not to visit China. The governments do not want the people to see the real China and compare.
Excited to see the next leg of your trip! Speaking of "rural China", Li Zi Qi has recently returned to publishing videos. I'm sure you've seen her channel. That's the China I also want to see. Anyway, good luck on the journey and I do hope you can visit the Philippines someday. ❤

We’re happy to see that the people that watched us and supported living in the mountains still like the videos in a different environment ♥️
I have some advice for you. If you like beautiful scenery or the unrestrained rural life of nature, I suggest you go to the western region, which is the most beautiful place in China. For example, Sichuan Province, Yunnan Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and Xizang. (At present, foreigners in Xizang are not allowed to travel freely, they must follow a group, the places to play are limited, and the cost is not low.) Other provinces can travel freely. First of all, I recommend visiting Sichuan Province and arriving in Chengdu, which is also the capital of world cuisine. It is also the hometown of giant pandas, and then you can choose to go to such places as Siguniang Mountain, Seda Buddhist College, Yading Daocheng Scenic Spot, Lugu Lake at the junction of Yunnan and Sichuan, and Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area Huanglong Scenic Spot, a world double heritage, where there are grasslands, lakes, snow mountains, and forests. There are also Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri La in Yunnan Province. Enough for you to watch and play.
I'm really excited for you guys to get out of the city and into the smaller country towns. I'm sure you'll be finding really interesting places and people so looking forward to your next video. Have a wonderful week exploring and relaxing.❤️
You can go to Suzhou, Changzhou, or remote Shanghai with one hour bullet train or metro to checkout several water towns in this region as "Chinese Venice".
You should go to ancient Chinese cities like Dali and Kunming in South West China. You should also go to Guilin, Yangshuo, Zhangjiajie, Jiuzhaigo. These are scenic areas. If you like temples, you should go to Tibet. There are lots of monasteries. However, it's mandatory to engage a tour guide here. Following "Little Chinese Everywhere", a Chinese TH-camr. She brings you to unknown small Chinese villages.
All the hard work you put in over the last weeks has been so much. You have more than earned your break. Shang Hi looks beautiful. Have a wonderful time, and thank you for allowing us along with you to see a country we otherwise would not xx
If you are a temple people, you are in the right country, as every region, city, county or village has many temples. The most amount of ancient temples are located in Shanxi province. Happy travel, externally and internally.

Have a good trip!😊
I am your Chinese audience, and I really like your lifestyle and attitude towards life. It is so calming and cool to listen to your heart and live the life you like. The harness of the mattress is an interesting topic. In the west, people prefer soft mattress. I still remember it took me a whole day to find a enough hard mattress when I first arrived in the US.
As foreigners in China, the locals treat you very well. They understand you're not from China and feel with you that it's not easy to be in a foreign country. The other way around however, in the West, we Chinese are not treated that well. If we make mistakes, no one is sincerely helping us or give us a "free" pass (like Chinese give to foreigners in China). Instead, locals in the West get easily annoyed or make fun that Chinese don't know how things work in the West or don't speak the local language. I wish more Westerners would treat Chinese people (who are tourists or not) more fairly. I'm very happy to see you enjoying yourself in China. ❤️
I really love your lifestyle and travel pace. It’s okay not to make too many travel plans-sometimes the unexpected things you stumble upon on the streets turn out to be more interesting than the popular tourist spots.

kudos to you both, you both able to find vegan/vegetarian restaurant in China
Recommend 3 TH-cam Channels which may offer help to you. 1. On Tour With Dridgers #OTWD, they are also budget travellers 2. Vegan In China. For Vegans like you. 3. Walk East. A preview on China's different cities, footage speaks better than words.
Thank you!! We knew about Vegan in China but not the others so we’ll definitely check them out 😊
