Yeah, it's nice to see a vintage 2nd generation jetliner landing at an airport in 2022. However, I still remember the days in the 1970s into the 80s when it seemed the 727 was just all over the skies. They were everywhere. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much. I was thinking the same thing the other day. A lot of the "special" visitors that pulls us out to airports today used to be super common. Aircraft such as all of the AA retros (especially the AA, TWA and US retros,) Southwest gold liveries, any MD-80 or 727, 737 classic or jurassic or MD-11. We used to see those all the time. Now it is just once in a great while.

Just had an AA 787 flyover my house going to Philadelphia..Eagles must have come early.

No NFL team charters a 787. The problem with sports charters is the plane has to stay parked from the time the team gets into town until after the game. It might work with older planes, but a 787 needs to keep flying and earn revenue.

@@KevinWindsor1971 Eagles use a AA 788 and they have been here all week practicing/scrimmaging with the Browns and play a preseason game against them Sunday…Appears it dropped them off and then flew back to Philadelphia.
