I'm rewatching this as I just picked up the Aqua Terra white and Orange, and I own the white ceramic Seamaster. The Aqua Terra is more elegant but still retains the sport watch DNA. Extremely happy to own them both. Cheers!
I picked up my Omega Seamaster 300 with the white dial on Monday. I could not be happier, Nato strap incoming. Omega are consistently underrated and that's okay with me, means I can pick up a watch without the wait.
The Aqua Terra and SMP 300 are two totally different categories. The AT is a GADA. For the office, dressy or for leisure activities in t-shirt and jeans suitable. Whereas the SMP 300 is a full sports watch and in my opinion only for free time and the holidays suitable. Although James Bond is wearing the SMP with a suit I would rather take the AT for that. The AT vs SMP300 is comparable to Rolexes Datejust vs Submariner. Datejust as a GADA in the configuration with the smoothed bezel and oyster steel bracelet and the Submariner as a Sportswatch for the freetime. You wouldn’t throw that in one pot, too.
I think both are considered very good candidates for a do anything watch. I'd prefer the SM300's ceramic bezel for better scratch and dent protection, if I wear the AT it's gonna look 10 years old fairly quickly, I'm already quite careful with my watches but somehow they still get a 1000 scratches from nowhere after a month or so 😂
I've considered the Seamaster multiple times. The first time I ended up with tne Speedmaster instead (I'd always wanted one). Then I considered the SMP again but started looking at the dressier watches. With the dressy ones, I looked at the AT with the white dial, but there was something about the hour markers that didn't float my boat. I decided to look at the Globemaster as an alternative to the AT. I tried it on once, and that was it. It's subtle, and unstated, which is what I wanted.
I’m in a similar boat. I love the white dial of the AT. However, I want the 41mm version and I just don’t care for the orange second hand. I like the second hand and markers on the 38mm version but don’t want to go that small. It kind of sucks for me 🤨
Wrist check: Longines Dolce Vita with Roman numerals and a blue strap. As for the Omegas, I would say that the aqua terra picks up where the previous generation of 300m left off. The latest model of 300m (which I have in blue) is a VERY sporty looking watch. The old 300m was more subtle. That is why I think every watch enthusiast needs both. For short sleeve days, roll with the 300m. A polo shirt or business suit, the aqua terra is what is needed.
I have both Omegas, the Aqua Terra on bracelet and the Seamaster 300 on the rubber strap. The Aqua Terra is definitely more dressy, and the bracelet is fantastic. The Seamaster 300 is I believe much more sporty; I didn’t get the bracelet on the 300 as I think the bracelet is too chunky. All depends on what you’re wearing and the day ahead. I’m wearing a Sinn 104 white dial on fine link bracelet.
on my wrist is my grandfather's 1962 Omega Deville w silver dial, date wheel and crosshairs. Immaculate like new condition, +1 sec/day. This watch made me appreciate Omega quality.
I have a blue dial 300m with the yellow gold bezel on rubber. I'm thrilled with it, however I'm hankering after a white dial timepiece . I had considered another 300m white dial but the AT is likely to win me over in the end. It's a watch to cover all bases.
Great images today 👌. These aren't watches I would gravitate towards ordinarily but I would chose the Seamaster here. I feel the Aqua Terra has an anemic look which is probably caused by the lack of bezel not giving a contrast of colour. Maybe a different colour Aqua Terra would of changed my mind? Today I am wearing my Seiko SARB033 it's been a bit neglected recently.
Nice review of 2 great watches. I might have hankered after them a while ago but I’m sat here wearing my Oris Aquis and have a Longines Conquest in my watch box and am very happy with them.
Great comparison, i have the Omega white SMP 300 on the no time to die nato which is a nice change from the bracelet. Currently wearing a Tudor GMT on the leather.. both Omega’s are great to be fare but i prefer the rugged look an feel as don’t much reason for dressy watches.
This is fastly becoming one of my favourite watch channels! Wrist check, tissot Seastar chronograph (white dial) given to my dad in 1969 (with case back engraved)
"Omega Seamaster 300m thickness comes in at 13.5mm." "Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra comes in at 13.5mm, so 1mm thinner than the Omega Seamaster 300m" That's a little bit confusing.
I bought the Aqua Terra blue dial and then bought a Rolex submariner Starbucks. The Aqua Terra had issues I found out later. It doesn’t come with on the fly adjustment, it was top heavy compared to submariner and the omega lum was subpar compared to Rolex. I should have bought the Seamaster. I have changed the omega strap to a Artem blue strap with white stitching and I looks great but less dressy. The submariner has none of those issues
Damn, how thick these are. Compared to 11mm first gen Aqua Terra and 12mm "Peter Blake" Seamaster. These two were much thinner in the beginning of 2000s
Either is a win. For a long time the SMP was my grail watch, but I ended up going with the AT (in white...and black). Don't regret it. They're similar enough, yet different enough, that you can have both in your collection and be happy with either. Or both. My bank account won't let me have both, though!
Wearing my blue 300m watching this video. Looking to add a blue AT but can’t decide whether to go for the bracelet or rubber 🤔. If it had micro adjust then I’d go for the bracelet, but as it doesn’t….
I have the rubber on my AT. It's super comfortable and the clasp is so damn nice. I'm more of a strap guy over bracelet. Plus the scratches that get on bracelets bother me after a while. It's all preference.
Wearing omega seamaster 300m black on rubber. Debating if I want to buy the green AT. I wonder if the marker for 300m is because of ISO 6425 where there needs to be a lume marker to be considered a diver
The Aqua Terra is a brilliant model. The only knock against it is the pricing. Over 6000 dollars for one at MSRP, that's almost speedy hesalite territory.
I've worn one of my "daily driver" "beater" watches today, one of my two Orient Bambinos. I have one pearl white dial with the thin "arrow head" indices, on a black faux alligator strap, and one green dial with stick indices on a tan ostrich strap. I'm rocking the white dial today. It's weird. I feel so comfortable wearing these inexpensive, good looking watches. I'm not worried about scratching anything, and I almost feel that I've got a secret! This great looking watch on my wrist is cheap! I have significantly more pricey watches, which I love, that are getting less wrist time for some strange reason than the Bambinos. BTW, I almost bought the Seamaster 300, but I found the Helium Escape valve kind of like a wart on a models face! Not to mention pretentious. I settled for a similar looking Longines Hydro Conquest, which I love, except that the Bracelet leaves something to be desired! The Aqua Terra is looking sharp! By the way, The Aqua Tera date window is a trapezoid!
I have the grey dial/blue markers 41mm AT with the blue rubber strap. Just got it last week and love it. My next is going to be the SeaMaster 300m black with Sedna gold. Love them both
Wrist check: bb58 black dial. Love both the Sea Master, and Aqua Terra with white dials. Both are gorgeous watches. Was on the fence between these 2, and the bb58. While I believe Omega is a large cut above Tudor, I ultimately decided on the bb58 because it is slightly more refined at 39 mm, and I just like the overall slimmer profile. If I were to get another watch in the future, it’ll be an omega. Probably lean more towards Sea Master 300M white dial.
Wearing a brand new tudor black bay 58 in blue purchased from chisholm hunter silverburn...was very hard to choose between black and blue. Sits in Nicely with my black seamaster and white seamaster
Although today I have a Grand Seiko GMT on today, I own an AT - steel/gold with rubber strap and the NTTD titanium Seamaster 300. For me the AT is a great casual/dressy and the NTTD is the go anywhere, look good.
They need to do something about the seamaster 300m bracelet. It’s too 90’s looking. And the Aqua terra bracelet is too polished for me. Solution….. the new speedmaster 🙌
Have a seamaster 300 heritage on the wrist today. Great comparative video. I would lean to the AT overall - for the white dial however maybe the diver. Going to look at the AT blue face on blue rubber strap today. Keep up the good work
Tough choice here. I actually love both Seamasters. It would be great if you could do a review on the Seamaster Nekton as that’s the one I’m hankering after. BTW, I’m wearing a Seiko Prospex, ‘Save The Ocean.’
I have the exact same Aqua Terra and had a tough time choosing it over the 300. No regrets, it’s been a great watch. Only complaint is the polished center links do tend to scratch easily.
I owned both , smp300 sold. Aqua terra is an awesome watch with its finishing quality , versatility and bracelet craftsmanship. I m a bracelet guy and smp 300 bracelet is appalling, heavy, digging the veins of wrist bla blaa. It should have been tapered and the clasp must be thinner
Today I'm flashing a V2 Traska Freediver Mint Dial (no date)... have been told by a multi Roli owner that the bracelet on my Traska puts the Roli bracelets to shame... I wouldn't know as I will never afford a Roli. Any who... I have been eye locked on the Aqua Terra model for the past year... but the recent change in design has me looking at other Omega models.
Forget about WR, you won't dive with the watch - NEVER. You rather use a dive computer which is going to provide more valuable info. I own AT 41 and I was scared even to swim with them because of the salt water. But I would like to own SMP because it looks beautiful.
Just started watching your Channel and it's got some great info .. cheers Also , just bought a new speedmaster racing co-axial, with the white face and love it Am now thinking of starting to put a collection of Omegas together, and I've looked at a aqua Terra ( kind of French blue , strap too) , a Constellation... But I've just seen the Aqua Terra in the video clip here ... I think it's really classy looking, and think it'd the next one on my list Thank you
SM300 in blue for me every time compared to an Aqua Terra. I have had the original 'Pierce Brosnan' auto SM300 version since 2000 as part of my collection. Wearing today my Tudor BB58 Black/gilt - marvellous !
I own the Tokyo smp300 and love it. What totally confused me is that the aqua terra is more expensive than the smp300. Just don't get the logic and the value proposition. I think I prefer the speedmaster but at the time I wanted a white dial watch.
Lol, I thought I have this video on 1.25, slow down a bit, you kinda seem like you're all over the place. Btw, I sense some interesting similarities in intonation and narrative to Adrian from Bark and Jack.
Today wrist watch... again Tudor bb58 navy 🤣 I have always loved the Seamaster 300m white dial (great white), I've tried it on many times and its perfect for me defo on my wish list just need to save up! 🤣🤣🤣 ...The reason why I am more to the Seamaster than the Aqua Terra just coz I already have an Explorer 1 similar to Aqua Terra has the sports/dress up style. Then again Seamaster can wear with suit in this day and age (James Bond style) 🤣🤣🤣 Great review btw would be nice if you review the new Aqua terra novelties especially the red dial 🤩😍 Keep it up! 👍 The Aqua terra dial your on about also remind me of shark teeth so both watches to me are great white sharks! 🤣🤣🤣
The only thing I really prefer about the diver are the round bright blue lume plots. That is a significant aesthetic advantage. A disadvantage of the Aqua Terra would be the jumping hour wheel. I never intend to leave Israel so it's just unnecessary like any GMT would be.
Wearing a Rolex Seadweller Deepsea James Cameron Edition. Great video. I prefer and own the Seamaster 300M. It is the best entry level watch in the market at that price range. Unfortunately, it has become the unofficial watch of Omega's fanboys. 🤣.
I have a 300m with the blue dial and love it. May pick up an Aqua Terra once the new colorways are widely available. Although... would also love to add the new 300m in green so let's see what I land on eventually. Today I'm wearing my Tag Heuer Carrera 1887 on the bracelet.
This to me is a wierd comparison video. Why do I think this is odd, well because they are different watches that are meant to do different things. The AT is the dresser every day GADA (Go Anywhere Do Anything) and the Seamaster is more of a tool watch. Also, I think the Seamaster can't be dressed up nearly as much as the AT. Both are good choices though and both are in the Seamaster family
You keep referring to the Diver 300M as a Seamaster, when both the Diver 300M and Acqua Terra are technically both Seamasters. I've seen you make the same mistake in other video's. Just thought I would point this out, as sometimes the message can get a little confusing. Cheers!
I own the white dial 300 and the clincher for me was the micro adjust. It has an adjustable sliding clasp which you failed to mention on your review. A bit disappointing. As regards the 300 lume, I think it is total rubbish, luckily lume is not a selling point for me. I also own an old Seamaster 300 with sword hands, the lume lights up the room so Omega has taken a backward step. I am getting 1.5 seconds a day and the watch is also my daily.
No thanks to either watch.. I will stick to my Rolex and Tudor and that NATO strap is absolutely hideous compared to the French made Tudor ones. Anyway each to their own and if we all liked the same it would be a boring world
I'm rewatching this as I just picked up the Aqua Terra white and Orange, and I own the white ceramic Seamaster. The Aqua Terra is more elegant but still retains the sport watch DNA. Extremely happy to own them both. Cheers!
How do u decide which to wear?
How is it going? Do you still prefer the AT over SMP?
I picked up my Omega Seamaster 300 with the white dial on Monday. I could not be happier, Nato strap incoming. Omega are consistently underrated and that's okay with me, means I can pick up a watch without the wait.
I have just traded my seamaster 300 for the aqua terra. Very happy with my choice but I do miss my seamaster. It’s a lovely watch.
Which one would you pick if you could have one forever?
I think if you’re going to own multiple watches then go for the 300m. If you can only own 1 watch to suit every occasion then go for the Aqua Terra
The Aqua Terra and SMP 300 are two totally different categories. The AT is a GADA. For the office, dressy or for leisure activities in t-shirt and jeans suitable. I’m trying to decide and I can only get one. The AT is clean and classy, but the SMP is iconic and James Bond
Actually have the blue dial Aqua Terra! That white dial SMP is gorgeous!
"Omega Seamaster 300m thickness comes in at 13.5mm."
"Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra comes in at 13.5mm, so 1mm thinner than the Omega Seamaster 300m"
That's a little bit confusing.
He meant 0.1mm difference as he settled in the middle (13.6mm) of his measurement (13.5mm) and what is stated on the website (13.7mm)
Hi great both omegas, i have the 300M. Now i have the posibility to buy the same omega but with rubberbat 3200 dollar? Waht do you think?
I bought the Aqua Terra blue dial and then bought a Rolex submariner Starbucks. The Aqua Terra had issues I found out later. For me the micro adjustment isn't really necessary. It's not a deal breaker. Until they were introduced probably not many longed for them.
Ah, the plight of every watch enthusiast... The watch we want is the one we don't own 😉
Wearing my Speedy Pro 3861 sapphire Sammy. Cheers!
Lol, tell me about it!
Wrist check Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur blue face with blue alligator strap.
Wearing omega seamaster 300m black on rubber. Debating if I want to buy the green AT. I wonder if the marker for 300m is because of ISO 6425 where there needs to be a lume marker to be considered a diver
Hi, today i have my Tudor North Flag on my wrist and also have the black 300m in my collection. The AT in white is also a nice one 😉👍
Love the North Flag!
I really like the aqua terra but for a dive watch or themed diver why no click bezel where the arrowed minute hand would cone in pretty handy?
The Aqua Terra is a brilliant model. The only knock against it is the pricing. Over 6000 dollars for one at MSRP, that's almost speedy hesalite territory.
I've worn one of my "daily driver" "beater" watches today, one of my two Orient Bambinos. The Longines Conquest looks prettier to me than the Aqua Terror, however it leans dressier
I have the grey dial/blue markers 41mm AT with the blue rubber strap. Just got it last week and love it. My next is going to be the SeaMaster 300m black with Sedna gold. Love them both

I think Tudor watches are meta certified.
I’d like to see an AT vs Explorer video. I think it’s a great match up.
wrist check: Seiko V Ryu with white nato strap
Great comparison and fellow 300m white dial owner. On my wrist is a Bremont Alt1-C Griffon
I picked up an AquaTerra over the 300m because of the movement inside. The 8900 movement is superior to the 8800.
They need to do something about the seamaster 300m bracelet. It’s too 90’s looking. And the Aqua terra bracelet is too polished for me. Solution….. the new speedmaster 🙌
On my wrist today is the newest version of the Speedy hesalite Moonwatch on a dark green leather strap.
Have a seamaster 300 heritage on the wrist today. Great comparative video. I would lean to the AT overall - for the white dial however maybe the diver. Going to look at the AT blue face on blue rubber strap today. Keep up the good work
I'll take both any day of the week, twice on a Sunday!
Tough choice here. I actually love both Seamasters. It would be great if you could do a review on the Seamaster Nekton as that’s the one I’m hankering after. BTW, I’m wearing a Seiko Prospex, ‘Save The Ocean.’
Great comparison, thank you!
I have the exact same Aqua Terra and had a tough time choosing it over the 300. No regrets, it’s been a great watch. Only complaint is the polished center links do tend to scratch easily.
@MESSAGE ME ON TELEGRAM APP @ Chisholmhunter
Hello, acknowledging the above. Thank you.
On my wrist…..Tudor Pelagos 39MM. May never take it off my wrist. Get one as quickly as you can. Sell other watches, I did.
I have the white Seamaster and will buy the AT Small Seconds.👍
What Nato Strap is it ? Is it the original Omega Strap ?
The Aqua Terra is my dream watch but O think is a bit over priced. It should be $4,500 instead of almost $6k
I picked up a blue 300m on bracelet, any advice on buying the rubber strap ,oem or Zealande and whats you choice of clasps with the rubber?
OEM rubber with deployant.
The 8900 movement is superior to the 8800. AT wins.
Great review as always!
Today on my wrist: My Explorer 214270 ”T-Rex“
Wearing the Seamaster 300m Green. Second view of the video.
Oddly enough... Aquaterra in 41 with the grey dial and blued hand/ indicies on wrist 😁
Really close to pulling the trigger on that Aqua Terra. The orange isn't too much?
Thanks for the video. It's really hard to choose one. One more thing, the brand name is "Omega", not "Amiga".
Regards.
I need both of them to be fair with myself.
Just started watching your Channel and it's got some great info .. cheers
Also , just bought a new speedmaster racing co-axial, with the white face and love it
Am now thinking of starting to put a collection of Omegas together, and I've looked at a aqua Terra ( kind of French blue , strap too) , a Constellation... But I've just seen the Aqua Terra in the video clip here ... I think it's really classy looking, and think it'd the next one on my list
Thank you
Wrist check - 1954 Rolex Oyster
Really can't decide on which Omega to get (£5.5k budget)
I always enjoy your videos, but I'm 9 minutes in and haven't heard if you prefer stainless steel or titanium on a watch yet!
The shape of the date window on the Aqua Terra is called a trapezoid.
SM300 in blue for me every time compared to an Aqua Terra. I have had the original 'Pierce Brosnan' auto SM300 version since 2000 as part of my collection. Wearing today my Tudor BB58 Black/gilt - marvellous !
Chris, the production quality just keeps increasing! Another great video! I’ve got my glycine combat sub 42 on wrist today!
I own the Tokyo smp300 and love it. What totally confused me is that the aqua terra is more expensive than the smp300. Just don't get the logic and the value proposition. I think I prefer the speedmaster but at the time I wanted a white dial watch.
They have not the same movement.
Aquaterra is best of both worlds (Sporty and dressy)
Lol, I thought I have this video on 1.25, slow down a bit, you kinda seem like you're all over the place.
Btw, I sense some interesting similarities in intonation and narrative to Adrian from Bark and Jack.
I have the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 black Dial
Today wrist watch... again Tudor bb58 navy 🤣 I have always loved the Seamaster 300m white dial (great white), I've tried it on many times and its perfect for me defo on my wish list just need to save up! 🤣🤣🤣 ...The reason why I am more to the Seamaster than the Aqua Terra just coz I already have an Explorer 1 similar to Aqua Terra has the sports/dress up style.
Then again Seamaster can wear with suit in this day and age (James Bond style) 🤣🤣🤣
Great review btw would be nice if you review the new Aqua terra novelties especially the red dial 🤩😍
Keep it up! 👍
The Aqua terra dial your on about also remind me of shark teeth so both watches to me are great white sharks! 🤣🤣🤣
The only thing I really prefer about the diver are the round bright blue lume plots. That is a significant aesthetic advantage. A disadvantage of the Aqua Terra would be the jumping hour wheel. I never intend to leave Israel so it's just unnecessary like any GMT would be.
They are both a seamaster. Seamaster professional 300m and seamaster aqua tera..
wearing GW-2100 G shock CasiOak
Wearing my blue SMP 300 ceramic 💙
The 38 mm aqua Terra is only 12.2 mm thick. Pretty big difference
Get both! Second guess yourself every time you leave the house!
Solid Review!
Cheers!
Trapezoid date window 😛
Before watching i can already guess that Aqua Terra won 🤠
Big fan of the channel but I think your should remove the super thanks $ icon as a retailer channel
It's not the choice of the creator but a generic option youtube put on.

@@DavidCosmos1 oh, I see it can be turned off! My bad.
Just please remember, it does come on a rubber…
I own the white dial 300 and the clincher for me was the micro adjust. It has an adjustable sliding clasp which you failed to mention on your review. A bit disappointing. As regards the 300 lume, I think it is total rubbish, luckily lume is not a selling point for me. I also own an old Seamaster 300 with sword hands, the lume lights up the room so Omega has taken a backward step. I am getting 1.5 seconds a day and the watch is also my daily.
Aqua Terra ❤
I prefer the Planet Ocean
I like the style of the Planet Ocean but it's just a little to big for me unfortunately.
GM 2100 in silver
Wrist check: Omega Seamaster 300m
The aqua terra is also a seamaster.........
OLLECH & WAJS COBRA
Am I the only one that thinks the 300’s hands are Phallic?
Unless your chopper looks like a skeltonised arrow?

No thanks to either watch.. I will stick to my Rolex and Tudor and that NATO strap is absolutely hideous compared to the French made Tudor ones. Anyway each to their own and if we all liked the same it would be a boring world
OMEGA the only eternal brand even God has one the tourbillon well he can afford it.
Omeeega really ? Omeeeeega 😂😂
6.5inch WTF is that? I am not American... I think in centimeters.
