Which I know you were just trying to do a creative interpretation of by saying "You're my one and only best friend" but as relevant as this is to the subject, I do feel like it alters the meaning quite a bit. "You're my one and only best friend" is a direct reference to the manga, so I took some creative liberty to tie it more into that! It's the same principle, since I follow it up with "I wish I could have told you then"- an ongoing longing ^^
