@@mekuruuu yup, even I, a non native english speaker, repeated until I got the speed right lol, no jokes, this shit does wonders to helping you improve your pronounce, but I would say the first and most important step would be to know the lyrics with 100% certainty, otherwise you aint getting this done XD
To me, Eve’s lyrics are something that always catch my attention in his songs because I like how he use words/synonyms/antonyms as they are the instrumental itself. He played with them and adding up to that is the japanese language, as one sound/pronunciation can have many meanings and he uses those at advantages for catchy rhythm and story telling.
But Trickle, he’s legit Eve but American when it comes to lyrics and I know that there are many other translators who are also very good but Trickle has his own uniqueness and that’s what separate him from others to me. His lyrics always make the songs as if they are the original. Although english is fill with variety of vocabulary, he still use synonyms that matches the original japanese lyrics so that the atmosphere doesn’t change that much just like how eve does.
The preview and the lyrics he translated have proven my statement, I’m not gonna lie I’m hyped everytime you cover an eve song.

I fucking love the line "throw away our minds, dance on cloud nine", especially because of the phrase in the song "Baka ni natte juu o matte" (translating roughly to "we'll become idiots dancing mid-air"), and I can't think of a single way to make it better. Rest of the song is fire as well but this line has stuck with me, and ican't explain why.

Unfortunately I slept through the premier but WOW! Listening to it now and really loving this cover. I feel like it has a different vibe from your first cover- there’s more control in your voice for one. Which I think fits pretty well with both Eve’s singing style and the protagonist hiding the insanity of his feelings, which makes the chorus more drastic! The small lyric changes overall help with the flow, and I especially love the faster part around 1:30! It’s really well done, all of it clear and controlled despite being such a fast verse. You’ve really improved since I first subscribed, thank you for sharing your covers with us!
