Well, now an official Eng version is available, but actually I love Trickle's version. My mother tongue is Japanese and I listened tens of fan-made Eng ver IDOL. I definetely say, this is the best one in Eng. Translator grasps the fine and sensitive meaning of each words, has awesome insights of rhyme both in Japanese and English. And put them all together in his original version, adding Trickle's wonderful, talented flavor. It is spectacular.

Okay some of y’all might disagree with me on this- but I prefer the trickle’s cover over the offical English cover by Yoasobi. His range, the added music affects, and the lyrics (even if he didn’t create them) are in my opinion better than the offical English version!

Agreed, this version is just way cleaner. The official version you could tell it wasn't translated all that well and you could hear her struggle to sing it, there was also a bunch of auto-tune in the beginning of the official version that i wasn't expecting. This version is the best cover ive heard!
that's because the official version is most likely a direct translation, with no lyrics changed to make sure it makes sense to English speakers (I think)
