Your new fur babies are gorgeous! I love the blue eyes they are my favorite. I'm on baby watch as well one of my girls is due any day. I've got the birthing kit set by the door so i can grab and go and not have to search for things when shes in labor. Amazing job on the pen looks very nice! ❤🐐
Thank you we are really happy how the pen turned out. We also have the baby kit on standby at the back door. How exciting that you are expecting new fur babies!!! We are on constant watch because she is due any moment and we are getting a front with thunderstorms this weekend, so naturally that's when she will most likely deliver....Murphy's Law
I’m getting some land. I want exactly what you have. Chickens, rabbits and goats. What things did you prioritize your first year of having your new homestead?
Great question!!! Honestly prioritizing a compost system is step one. Chickens or rabbits would be the next steps with larger livestock afterwards. Best advice is to get a system or animal down and understand it fully then move to the next. Homesteaders want to go all in with multiple things at once and burn out or make multiple mistakes all at the same time which will crush motivation. Good luck and always make sure you’re having fun.
Essentially I cut a 16 foot cattle panel in half so each panel was just under 8 feet. I also cut the top down a little as well. We have Nigerian Dwarf goats so with a little over 4 feet of fence we haven’t had any escaped goats yet.
Nicer than I would have done. Love it!
Thanks we ended up redoing the shed as well.
All I see is a fun family working together for some good goats. Very nice
Thanks! We really do have a great time working together, so I'm happy that comes across.
Looks amazing
Thank you!!
hopefully a place without snakes, since that goat pen is not snake proof

How long did you cut the panels to?
