This is about the best parenting show on the internet. So wonderful to see a dad working with a daughter to teach se of tools and equipment. Why do I think adult Olivia will be able to fix her own car?
Absolutely in love with the video. It's so important to teach a young lady how to be self sufficient. Let's not forget about the importance of a daughter and daddy relationship. Melts my heart 💓. Now let's get her in 4-H!!
That was the best I was giggling and laughing the whole time. I love how goats automatically always play “king of the hill” and try to knock each other off
Wow. You are an amazing father. She is one blessed child. She will remember those moments all her life. I have to go back and watch the video again because all I am doing is seeing your interaction with your precious child. You made our morning little princess.
To see a Dad and Daughter working, learning and doing something together is the best. Mine was kidnapped 5 years ago. So many feelings here with this one. I need some spools. I got my first goat today. My girlfriends X gave her's away. I have worked with a lot of animals. Goats are new and we found us a Nigerian Dwarf today. So you just taught me something to build for ours. I am getting ready for the ride. Rabbits, dogs, goats, chickens and whatever else we can have around. Great Video. Its good to see a young woman trusted with work.
Fantastic video, I see so much more then just a few spools in the yard, IC and anxiety free, stress free environment, you can just watch the difference between pre and post spools, it was like dark into light. The pigs, the chickens... The chickens got out so we just left them, they're happy! You sent that what you went to find or is that what you went to build. 35 years living with multiple sclerosis here disabled for the past decade, we know what we need to get through it's just showing others how they can help. You went to your homestead because you knew how to help you've walked the path and you're starting, I sat and watch this video for 17 minutes, the pressure inside subsided and I was able to breathe and be comfortable, and that's why I continue to come back, cuz you're working on me too! Thanks for taking the time to share your day it made mine!
We use to sand them down and put a stain on them and they actually looked pretty darn awesome 😎 also for shelving concrete blocks and wood it was cheap. 🙏🙏
That was awesome watching the goats jump on the spools. The best part was when you said "you know what we need now Olivia?" and she said "a slide." LOL! I'm with her. I think you need a slide!!
The goats are a hoot and seemed to throughly enjoy their "playspool" playground! (I think you and Olivia had just as much fun putting it together too) That was so much fun to watch! Thanks for sharing!
Those spools are awesome. It looks like the goats are enjoying themselves! How adorable. Olivia did great with the tractor and filling those spools with foam! She's doing wonderfully with milking and everything else. We're jealous of the cool weather. It's still so very hot here. Our heat index is still pushing 100. 😩😓☀️🔥☀️.
Oh how fun👍👍 you sure made their day !!! Back in the 1970’s we used sand down the tops of the spools then stain them and put a few coats b of clear coat on them and used them for coffee table or whatever you want to use them for. I’m happy your goats are enjoying their new toys. Oh hey your daughter is a really good backhoe operator and driver. Man they grow up so fast. God Bless you and your family 🙏🙏🦋🦋🌈🌈🌺🌸🌻🌻🌼🌹🌹
Olivia reminds me of myself when I was her age. I was always hanging around my daddy. And like you Al he taught me about everything from taking care of animals to working on cars. I’m thankful for those days. I no longer have my dad. I think the goats spools should be called their jungle gym. Loved the video and love the Lumnah family.
I enjoyed this video so much I played it twice love those goat and Olivia is so cute and helpful. Thanks so much for the fun I had watching this video.
Great fun for the goats and you folks haha. Nice drone shot of the sunrise. We've been socked in with smoke haze for the last couple of weeks due to all the wildfires out here. See ya Monday.
Suggestion. If you cover the tops with roofing shingles or something rough it will give them grip and keep their hooves trimmed. Also are you removing them when it ices?
Goat hooves would shred composition shingles. The goats do not need additional grip. The ice won't bother the goats. They are wild animals and used to living in the ice. Goats are very agile animals.
Good mornin Lumnahs ..... the goats are having a blast ...... Willow really wants to roll some spools. Love how they play "king of the hill" on the spools, and Willow doesn't seem to have any qualms of batting/butting the little ones off. Take care AL, Gina & Goat Whisperer Olivia ~8^)
Great new toys for the Lovely ones. Idea1 make a frame from wood that would cradle a spool horizontal and rotate on its center hole. like a big YoYo. Keep up the best Vids.
You got a Tundra. I’ve missed a few weeks I guess. You’ll love it. My whole family is a Toyota family. Love love love my tundra. I’ll never go back to any other truck.
That is so much fun for the goats with their toys and Olivia is definately happy....Maybe some day she'll have open farm day....Love Gina's skirt...Bye🐐🐄👍
Love the new toys for your goats Olivia you are very very good with them your a goat momma we love you so much I had to edit and tell you how nice it is to see jenna smiling she's so pretty thank you Jenna and LOL it's about time LOL lol LOL lo
I have got the perfect name for the spool park. Toadstool Park you can paint them various natural colors and add white and black dots and they will look like toadstools.
Goat Woods..they really are having a great time with the spools....I had a spool as a table in my college room...they are so useable!!!!Hugs from Kennebunk Maine
5:30 I worked for the phone company for 30 years and we had all sizes of wire reels. I used to practice walking on them, (rolling them). I figured if I ever became a lumbethack, that would be a valuable skill... The bigger ones are a little easier. You have to be quick to walk the smaller ones, they're very reactive. The 3-4 foot diameter ones were the easiest for me.
Great toys, and lots of fun watching. I think you should call it GoatWorld, incorporate some of your boulders, hang their ball to play with on their toadstools.
Good Mawnin' Al! How about the Al-pine spool mountains, with an emphasis on the Al part as in "Al Lumnah"! You deserve having your name associated with your Newest "New Hamshire" Mountain Range. Great video!
That is so cool that you are teaching your daughter all about homesteading, and even operating the tractor thing! Life skills that will carry her far. Wonderful video, except you are one of the homesteaders that are contributing to my desire to get a couple of Nigerian Dwarf goats! Can we say #enabler? LOL!!!
My first thought was leave one sideways so the goats could walk/roll the reels. Then I realized they would just roll it up to the fence and jump out. Great video.
Good daddy and homesteader. As long as they are not too close to the fence, or they can jump over. Do not be afraid of pushing them further apart. A little challenge is exciting for them. Spoolorama, Olivia's Let's Spool Around
Thought for sure you were going to stack them in a pyramid. We just picked up three goats yesterday and the fella we bought them from said his goats had jumped from some stacked pallets onto his lower barn roof, then they went all the way to the top. It was a tin roof - he said it sounded like the worst rainstorm ever - lol
I love how your daughter enjoys spending time with her dad. That says a whole lot for your parenting!
This is about the best parenting show on the internet. So wonderful to see a dad working with a daughter to teach se of tools and equipment. Why do I think adult Olivia will be able to fix her own car?
Yup my heart sank.
Absolutely in love with the video. It's so important to teach a young lady how to be self sufficient. Let's not forget about the importance of a daughter and daddy relationship. Melts my heart 💓. Now let's get her in 4-H!!
I love how much you involve Olivia in your activities! Great video!
No. Don't end this video. I want to watch more but of it. I like your goats.
The Spool School.
Love a dad teaching his girls to drive the tractor 🚜 and how to build things themselves 👏🥰

Praying you feel better day by day. Ephesians 3
ALPS > Al's Leaping Pad System. You may have started a cottage business :-)We used them for coffee tables in the 70s... Those are happy goats!
diane hall a wire spool was our first coffee table (1975)!
We use to sand them down and put a stain on them and they actually looked pretty darn awesome 😎 also for shelving concrete blocks and wood it was cheap. 🙏🙏
Watching a goat addiction forming right in front of my eyes. LOL.
Yup. It's happening 😬
My thought exactly!
yessss
Olivia is such a great help on the farm! Good job with the tractor, girl! Love your videos
That was awesome watching the goats jump on the spools. The best part was when you said "you know what we need now Olivia?" and she said "a slide." LOL! I'm with her. I think you need a slide!!
We've been looking
LOL!!! That would be awesome!
I love this . What a great life and bond daughter and her Dad. What a wonderful Father.
The goats are a hoot and seemed to throughly enjoy their "playspool" playground! (I think you and Olivia had just as much fun putting it together too) That was so much fun to watch! Thanks for sharing!

Those goats are in playground heaven!!!
This video is full of so much love and excitement from everyone!!! I absolutely love this video!!!

Spool Mountain :] This episode was really fun!
Those lucky goats!! They love living on Lumnah acres!!! ❤️🌼🌸
This is one of my favorite Lumnah Acres videos ever!
three goat mountain...thanks for sharing your families fun. Looking forward to Mondays video.
Lifetime memories for Olivia
Brings back memories of working with my Daddy. Even at 54, wood, putty & Bondo still smell like love.
Sawdust smells like Dad Love to me!
Best comment ever!
I loved seeing Olivia help out and work along side You!
Oh my gosh too cute! Love the goats....💜
Loved watching the girls jump around on their new "toad spools" 🐸
The spools are great but you should try leaving a couple on their side. The goats will jump up on the middle and walk the spools. Very fun to watch!
When we have better fencing we will have to try that. I could see them bull dozing right through the electric netting
I thought about that right after I sent the comment. That electric fence definitely would take a beating. Have fun!
Maybe they should use a gym ball instead of leaving the spools on the side.
On wholesome roots they cover the holes with wood. I think goats will eat at your foam and need wood planks put over top.
Pat Bootie i was think that too, i hope that isnt the case.
What a great dad! Love seeing g you two work together!
Such a good father. She’s going to grow up amazing with you around! Thank you for the great goat ideas🙌🏽
I see Olivia painting the spools! I have a couple I’ve painted, added wheels and use as side tables.
I love it. Those goats are so lucky. You guys really love them.
This was a treat. I laughed and enjoyed every second of it. And, I think I love your goats as much as you all do.
Those goats are so fun to watch. Really awesome. Greetings from Andreas on Off Grid Sweden 🇸🇪

Looks like the goats are loving their new play toys.
What great parents you and your wife are to your daughter. God bless you guys
Great fun for the goats and you folks haha. Nice drone shot of the sunrise. We've been socked in with smoke haze for the last couple of weeks due to all the wildfires out here. See ya Monday.
Goat-a-nasium
What a blast for the goats. Plus Olivia is goint to be a terrific tractor operator👍
So cute how your daughter is involved and helps you when you do stuff!
Awesome idea, too cute. Who knew goats wouldn't eat spray foam. The spools remind me of mushrooms in a fairy garden.
They will as soon as they get bored.
well!! I'd say the spool idea was a smashing success!! I know I enjoyed watching them jump around on them!!
Lol watching the goats jump around made me have a proper giggle !!! 😂😂
Suggestion. If you cover the tops with roofing shingles or something rough it will give them grip and keep their hooves trimmed. Also are you removing them when it ices?
tip them on their side in snow & ice...I could see the goats trying to balance on the spool & pushing them around the yard.
Goat hooves would shred composition shingles. The goats do not need additional grip. The ice won't bother the goats. They are wild animals and used to living in the ice. Goats are very agile animals.

Awaesome LEAP OF FAITH “BUTTERCUP” 👍👍 Ohhh nooo, “MOOSE” better up his game, or “Miss Buttercup” will be stealing the show 😉👍
Funny goats and a great video. Have a Blessed Day!

Awesome great toys for your goats, love watching them checking them out!
love all your videos al, i just bought 3 nigerian dwarf doelings, you inspired me.
I have one big spool and painted it orange and drawled 2 eyes and a mouth on it , now it looks like a big pumpkin ..great for Halloween...
Love that you guys did a special little project together❤️
Great job guys! Great idea for your goats!
so much fun!
Got to admit that was one fun video to watch
Love those goats so cute they love to play so much .playland is a good one lol. 😃 🇨🇦🇨🇦
How cute! Careful you havent.given the goats a launching pad to jump the fence. Remember Weed Em and Reaps Tilly.
Hello wonderful family i hope this finds you well...fun time for the goats
