thanks! i honestly don't know what did the trick in the end... was it plugging that cable in? was it to go back to 24mm on my 24-70 (from about 35mm)? was it going with almost the same distances? or did the thing just get its act together after the restart that was between this unsuccessful and the successful calibration?! its weird... but it works... i just hope it will on another attempt as well.

Thanks Sam hope you like the SC I know I do the only issue is the fact that the eye piece will catch on the back so if that is an issue you may want to consider the Weebill S I have done a few videos on that as well - I still prefer the quality and app of the Ronin but wish the 24 to 105 woudl fit without touching the back motor - cheers Hieth

Hi Marvin I cant be 100% certain however as it is slightly heavier than the EOS R I fell it should actual be better to balance and not hit the rear eye piece. You clearly don't know what you are doing. This roinin SC is not balanced at all (your still locked at 6:11), you dont show your results within your app and you don't show us how you use the ronin SC with the Canon EOS R. Even if you get it to work, the Canon eos R will block the ronin SC movement since you will hit the top of the camera.

Hi Walter thanks for dropping a comment I don't understand what you are saying as I do know what I am doing in fact if you read all the other comments you will this has helped alot of people. It does balance perfectly ok however it does touch the eye piece so it limits the use ie no barrel roll but it will balance. ALSO MY OTHER VIDEOS ALSO STATE that the best lens for the EOSR is the RF 35 and if you want larger lens set ups to go for the Weebill S plus I did nit want to bore people like most people do with showing the balancing and undoing just to give them the setup figures which has helped 1000's of people. Thanks anyway for your constuctive feedback cheers Hieth

Hi - Thanks for watching I was not aware of anyone making these videos showing the measurments so thats great to here other people ar doing the same - as for it workign would that not be boring - this works in every mode apart from when you try vertigo it touches the eye piece which most people are aware of - I have however just got the counter weight kit form DJI so will be giving that a go to see if it solves the issue - cheers Hieth
