Hi so short answer is yes the R6 and 24 to 105 should balance according to DJI, the R6 is 200 heavier than the RP but the combined weight of it with the 24 to 105 is within the limits of the RC unfortunately I don't own it anymore so cant do video for you as I own the DJI RS2 Pro if you order it from Amazon here is a link geni.us/rZ08 and then it does not work you can send it back and get a full refund hope this helps cheers Hieth

Hi. Thanks for some great videos. I actually went and bought a RONIN SC after watching your video. However I cannot get to my EOS RP to balance using your measurements. The eye piece still bumps into the back motor. And the gimple does not seem strong enough to balance the setup (using the kit lens RP 24-105 f4 L). Do you have any hints?
Hi Chister thank you for your kind comments and i hope you like the Ronin, due to recently buying the new R5 and R6 I have sold my EOS RP so cant do a double check for you, however it worked fine for me as you can see in the video. it maybe down to a tiny adjustment on where you have place the riser and base plate if you place it in the same place as on the video you should be fine - on another note I did purchase the Small Rig Cage which added some weight to the RP and allowed me to bring the camera forward a bit more so it cleared the back motor even more so this may help you - hope this helps let me know how you get on and if you have any more quesitons drop me a line cheers Hieth

Hi Gareth - yes I have tried it with both and it didn't like it they make it to front heavy as they weigh between 600g and 800g plus the adapter you then have to set the camera back so far it hits the rear motors if you want to use that set up it has to be the DJI RSC 2 or RS 2 cheers Hieth

Hi Hardi I take it you are reffrring to the EF 17-40mm? If so I dont own one of these but as it is al ight lens at only 500g I would say it would balance perfectly. Hi Terence I can be 100% sure as I dont own my RP anymore after upgrading to the R6 you would get it to balance with say the RF 30 but I would not be confident with any other set up - if I was you I would go for the DJI RSC2 hope that helps cheers Hieth

Hi Roberto - I don't own the 5D so sorry I can not confirm this 100%, the 5D weighs in at 800g and the RP is only 440g, the RF 24 to 105 is 700g and the Ef 24 to 105 is 770g. It may well work as the issue with the RP was that is was to light and you had to pull the camera to the back of the gimbal. Hi, Do the features such as active track work? I just bought an RP and am going to get this gimbal for work, and I'm worried that the features were more directed towards higher grade cameras such as the A7 and EOS R
Hi Simple answer to that is yes Active Track will work - more complicated answer is that to do this you have to balance the phone on the top of the camera with the supplied bracket so it will limit the lens you can use to the RF35 and RF 50 - if you can afford the RSC 2 I would go for that and buy the Raven Eye transmitter - hope this helps if you have any other questions drop me a line cheers Hieth
@@LtRyanPYT it is to do with the weight but not that the motors can't cope it is the weight distribution as the EOSR and RP are so light you can overcome it with some counter balance weights small rig make a good one but it is so fiddly to balance .
