- What a treat! this burrito is big and full of goodness, a whole meal in one, easy to be filled with your favorite filling, you can use leftovers ant transform them into a totally different meal, it is easy, quick and delicious.

Rachel, my name is John. I’m a 78 y/o disabled Vietnam veteran who suffered a stroke 6 months ago and have been in a rehab hospital having to be fed through a feeding tube. I love to cook so I spend most days watching cooking channel on my iPhone. Your program is my favorite. I’m improving and hope to go home soon and plan on returning to my kitchen and cook for my wife. My stroke caused my swallowing to not work, so I have not eaten in 6 months. Keep up the Mexican dishes. I’m a Texas boy whose parents are from Mexico 🤪🤪

In Uruguay we have less than 4 million people and more than 13 million cows. The way we cook steak is with salt and pepper. Steak has a lot of flavor by its own. Bravo Rachel!

Rachel, every video you and Ron make are great. You're like the aunt that we all wish we had to visit and cook with, but we'd want to be at your house every day and we're in Chicago, and we'd have to drive to Ohio and Texas. Love all the explaining and tips you share. I'm Japanese, German & Irish but married into a Mexican family so had to learn how to cook Mexican food. My kids, grandkids and great-grandkids are Mexican and love the cuisine, but I think they're getting tired of our family recipes so I'm switching to your recipes. I am so happy that I came across your channel. We love the way you cook. I'm listening to you talking about all the flavors you smell in your cast iron pan, and I swear I can taste it. I have a grand son that just come from Asia who live with me now, he has 4 blood in his body, Chinese, Indonesian, American, and Mexican, he never eat Mexican food all his life, but amazingly he love Mexican food, so its easy to feed him, because every where there is Mexican food to buy, and I learn to make Mexican food from your utube chanel, thank you Rachel, love from California mountain desert area.

Lemon and lime do cook your meat, and that is why one should not use it as a marinade longer then advised. It's 1 AM right now, but this is going to be "what's for dinner" tonight. YUMM!
While pregnant with my son, I craved tacos and cho. shakes all the time, so ate them that whole time... When my son was growing up and in charge of his meals during his high school days, he ate tacos for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I told him one day he needed to eat something more substantial. He asked why? Tacos have meat, bread, vegetables, cheese and milk (sour cream). Perfect meal.
I could see I lost the battle, and nothing was ever said about it again.
It is still his favorite meal. lol

I'm also a Southern California girl moved to Oregon 28 years ago. I have to make my own Mexican food. I thank my Mexican mom who taught me her recipes but I also enjoy a good Mexican restaurant which are far and few between. I watch her channel for dinner ideas as my husband is real picky. I miss the California weather and going to the beaches but not living there.

Those are the kind I used to get from the Mission District in San Francisco. I have a special place in my heart for those as my relatives, the Sanchez’s, had a taqueria in that area. Years later I found that my friend’s family had one a few doors down.

Good day, Rachel, and of course, Ron. I was making your recipe, but I had 2 limes and one pink grapefruit. At first, I felt like... OH GOSH! Then I thought, why not try to see what happens. But it was fantastic, I used only half of the pink grapefruit since they are so big. Honestly, I did your recipe exactly how you did it, but the second time I did it with pink grapefruit, YES, it tasted different, but still very good. Rachel freezing the meat before is so much easier. You are right about it. You are a fantastic cook Rachel. I do not doubt your kids and grandkids must enjoy anything you bake or cook for them. OH! By the way, your Macarony with BACON and cheese is way past amazingly good.

My husband used to make burritos with Mexican chorizo and potatoes with sour cream. Oh my goodness….the house smelled delicious and they were so very good!
