First ever Elecraft KH1 to KH1 S2S

Fred KT5X (AKA WS0TA) and I were both field testing our KH1 rigs on summits this morning, and we had a 'Summit to Summit' (S2S) QSO on 20 meters. I was on a summit east of Seattle, WA and Fred was on a summit about 1000 miles south of me in Southern California.

It's a Timex Expedition. The band broke about 25 years ago and I couldn't get parts, so now it's my SOTA logging clock.

Well that is odd because I am on a list with the other KH1 field testers, and none of them have reported making a KH1-to-KH1 S2S before this one. Thanks for your comment.
