    *updated thoughts on FLARE*
After several extensive tests (excess of 10 landings) and jumping back and forth between sims I have now come to my conclusion.
I think its pretty damn good.
But why then does it sometimes end up feeling "off" in msfs? I think I know the answer. The problem herein lies with the vast majority of glideslopes being misalgined and papis being incredibly stupid to follow in msfs. These anomalies cause the pilot to react, thus "destabilizing" the aircraft. More often than not this leads to a nose low or low pitch across the numbers, throwing the flare feeling "off" but not necessarily wrong. If you are destabilized at 50' (which should theoretically be across the threshold) your entire landing profile is going to be non standard. This leads to the two most common new airbus pilot types of landing.
-nose low, flare law activates, pilot goes oh shit and and flares too abruptly causing either a balloon/float or driving the mains into the ground (ouch)
-nose high, flare activates, which triggers pilot to commence flare at higher AoA than optimal thus total AoA is above "standard" causing more drag and a rapid IAS speed bleed off, sometimes bleeding well below Vapp into Vls.
Side note about landing in Vls, in the real airbus 90% if you are in Vls and start the flare, it aint gonna work out for you lol you just lack the energy to arrest the descent rate adequately so most of the time they will be firm. You also run the risk of getting into an unemployment attitdue (11.7 degrees Tailstrike)
Unfortunately the visual approach guidance systems we have in MSFS do not work correctly all the time, in fact I think most of the time they are slightly off
I also prefer removing the reactivity. With the latest update I dont suffer from that nose up the previous version had. I might bring it in just a bit but so far the linear feels about as good as it gets in normal conditions

when I was a line guy, I fueled many of 757s, 767s and Airbus 300s for both FedEx and UPS. Their planes are actually different even though they are the same I always thought that was strange. I think Fedex Has the Older version of the A300, their fuel panel was on the fuselage and UPS's is under the wing. I got to know the mechanics of both companies pretty well, since I seen them every day, seen a lot of cool stuff that's for sure. Those guys would bust their behinds fixing bird strikes and any other issues that creeped up. Once they had to defuel the whole aircraft, and seal a fuel leak. Put a lot of fuel back in it that time. I also totally get what you mean about being a single pilot cargo pilot. I worked with Metros and Caravans and ATRs every day for freight rush, my favorite part of the Job. Actually dated a fedex caravan pilot for a while, heck pilot community is small enough you probably know her if you go to fly ins and things like Oshkosh and Sun N Fun. I got a lot of hours from her, she was super awesome. Too bad we didn't work out, I miss that girl.

Hey mate, so how did you like the planes behaviour on your landings?
Revisiting the stream it seems you had quite some problems as well.
Looking at your stick input on the frist one you even had to push it down a little after initially pulling and then returning the stick to neutral. That's the same experience I had on my landings with the new Fenix. Is that really how the 320 has to be flown? I remember it to be quite different in the FSLabs and in the A321 Full Flight I've flown where you needed a smooth continious pull, slightly increasing in force while flaring. That's also how the A330 works btw.
On the second one your stick inputs looked the way I'd expect them to look, but you were quite a bit on the slow side to achieve that.
Wouldn't you say a combination of the two (behaviour from the first but stick from the second) wouldn't be perfect?
Some nice crosswind there on your landings at SXM, good job bringing it down in conditions like that!
Just wondering, on your first one you pulled the nose up like 6°s to break the descent rate, is what how you'd expect the plane to behave?
On the 737 or 330 that would surely have climbed you away, even with the speed slightly below Vls and a gust hitting.

Ah didnt see this, check my pinned comment above. I had to do some more landings in it to get a better conclusion

@35:34 haha true. though honestly it's not that big of a deal, you can just pull it back out and the pumps will turn back on. too bad I missed your stream, been on the road with work crazy busy. I caught the end just as my battery died. Did you see the youtube short of the Pilot taking an axe to the parking ramp lift gate? lol. that's a career change in the making

So talking about Go Around Flaps, when I did one of my first solos, i decided to go around and i dropped my flaps too soon and I could feel the airplane falling out from under me, quickly put them back. pucker moment. Difference between a little piston pounder and a twin jet I suppose. you fly those airplanes completely different than how the little planes work.

V1, you need to go into GSX configure installer and move YMML to exclude 3rd party jetways.

@ V1-simulation, " A Karen" got started when a comedian said he had one in his neighborhood as part of his act. and described what one was, ever since the name " Karen" was used to describe any one who acts the same as he described his " Karen". so that's hiw it git started.

too bad the FAA is too lame to allow you to do a live stream during a real world flight. the rest of the world allows it. airclips is a great example of this.

@1:43:30 well an Airbus pilot, is really just a glorified Bus Driver. Why not be allowed to look like one. lol. Especially the one that drives a converted school bus / camper. Also, Aviation, has a close lineage to Navigation, the operation of Naval vessels. We use those terms very closely. Now tell me how many sea captains don't have a scruffy beard?? XD
