I own an Amaze & I wanted to buy Petrol over Diesal because of cleaner fuel & less maintenance cost (less frequent fuel & oil filter replacements). That was the biggest mistake I have made thinking Honda's are best in Petrol engines. Highly disappointed with Petrol 1.2 vtec engine's, it has pathatic low end torque hence with great difficulty it climbs regular basement slopes with 4 members. I feel its an underpowered engine for city start/stop traffic delivering efficiency of around 11-12 kmpl & Highway around 14-15 kmpl maximum. *I would recommend only Diesal 1.5 dtec for Amaze as the best* You are spot on - *missing are rear AC vent & rear seats adjustable head restraints. Rear seats front base should be raised by 30-40mm for better thigh supports & it would also reduce the stretching of legs for better comfort. Would love to have light-medium Gray & Black interiors instead of Beige & Black* Its a pocket friendly mini Honda City with excellent after sales Service experience at Gopinathji Honda, Vadodara, Gujarat. *Its a fantastic compact sedan with best cabin & boot space. Great job by Honda*
Hello, I do also have Honda Amaze petrol 2018 & i completely agree with you petrol engine is pathetic and specially on 2nd gear. I do feel it's my biggest mistake to buy petrol version of Honda Amaze. In addition to that build quality is also bad, glove box lock and fit is poor, door windows fitting are loose etc. Honda need to seriously think about it.
@@rockysangwan Best petrol engine are from Maruti's 1.2 & new 1.5 K series & Honda 1.5 vtec - refined, responsive, efficient, smooth with low NVH levels. Followed by Ford 1.2 - 3 cylinder engine way better than Tata's high NVH levels with not too refined or efficient Petrol engine.
Excellent review. I owned Honda Amaze Diesel CVT Pros Best diesel + AT in this segment. In fact i dare to say its best in segment above Fuel economy - City with moderate traffic is around 18 to 19 KMPL. For highway using tank full to tank full method is around 22 KMPL which is very good for true diesel AT 1.5 iDTEC engine is best in this segment. CVT has 80 bhp power against manual transmission 100 bhp. For CVT, its detune engine but its quite adequate power and never feel underpowered engine No rubber band effect for diesel CVT. Not sure about petrol CVT Like AMT, you never realise that gear is changing. I did test drive of Dzire ZDI AMT and really disappointed AMT gearbox with performance As said in review, back space is best in segment. Also you get complete cushion support. Its really feel Honda City at back seat. Also I personally prefer fixed head rest instead of adjustable Suspension is quite good. Not driven any other Honda car or previous generation Amaze but suspension feels good Cons Fit and finish is not as per with Honda standard. This car is build for cost Feels some rattle. Not significant but sometimes rattling from steering. Some weird sound from front driver side suspension. Previously driven Fiat Punto which was excellent build and in 7 years never felt any rattling. Overall best car in 10 to 11 lakh bracket. Dezire AMT almost same price compared to Amaze CVT. So any day Amaze Diesel CVT is VFM

I have been driving Toyotas (Etios, Yaris). Both are superb cars. I have purchased Honda Amaze recently and these are the negatives : 1. Gear shift is not smooth. 2. Turn indicator is hard to operate. 3. Pick up is weak. Underpowered. 4. Glove box lid falls down at every speed breaker. Overall an average car. Not comparable to my Toyotas.
Amaze 2020 S Petrol: Pros: Fuel economy: city 15-17, Highway: 17-20 Build quality: good, 4-star safety rating Drivability & Seating comfort: excellent No clutch or gear problem as per personal experience Cons: Power lack in low rpm especially in 2nd gear, but after getting used to not felt much 14" tyre size in lower variants the suspensions are very peppy if you drive on breakers in higher speed car will bounce back having said that will give you extra comfort also on highway drives as it absorbs the bad road conditions very well.
Another small and crisp video.... Hope Honda adds a few things in it's BS6 upgrade.... viz a pair of projector headlamps if not LED, adjustable head rests on the back seats, DRLs etc. The "saasu-ma's" would surely like them. (The web site mentions BS6 version available)
The problem here, Mr Yadav, is not LED lamps but the people! They flaunt it on high beam just because they have them. We need to understand the hazards of high beams in the city. Even on the highway one needs show respect to the on coming traffic. Further more, the head lights should be adjusted to the lowest feasible for city use where we have sufficient road lights.

Mine is new and in city driving conditions it is giving 16 kmpl. Yet to take it out to highway and yet to get first 1000 kms service done.. It is being said once it crossess 10k kms or 2 services the mileage improvises I have no idea about it ur take one that?
New Honda Amaze has front end suspension issue, specially there is issue with lower arm and bushes in front. I owned Honda Amaze purchased 3 months back and replaced these parts.

Yup 👍 Honda Amaze Excellent choice, in fact I bought it last week fully equipped Automatic CVT Diesel in wild city riding conditions it is giving me 16.3 with AC on... I m yet to take it out to highway so soon will edit this post and let u guys know. Build quality is excellent 4 star ncap rating and the doors closes with a big loud thud of the metal compared to rivals which feels like metal can thud.. Except for VW.

I purchased dzire instead of amaze just because of these few reasons nmbr one rear windows don't roll down to its limit second rear head rest is not adjustable Third arm rest touches the seat which reduces comfort of hand..and last two.. allow style is outdated and no led headlights neither in rear
Im bought dzire 2018. But speaking frankly the car's body shell is like a tin can and even a small punch will dent the vehicle. Secondly i have used for around 28k and the clutch is a sort of problem which makes the vehicle vibrating in 1st and 2nd. I have zxi model. Suspension too not that great compared to old model dzire which ahs a solid body shell and good suspension...

I am having new amaze vx cvt i-vtec, it's mileage is 10/11 inside city and 13/14 on highways.. I need to know whether this is the correct mileage or less.
You have heavy feat it seems. I get 14-15 in city and 18 easily on highway with V cvt.

⛽⛽👉👉To all guys speaking about mileage. First you all should understand that the make of car alone doesn't give you a good mileage ... Its in the skill of the driver who drives the car... Secondly the surface of driving might be different from place to place Eg. Some might be riding in hilly area with rocky rough roads, some riding in muddy roads and some in plain asphalt road in city.. third almost 80% of drivers are new to driving and always have fear that they might hit some one and often put their legs on brake while driving... Fourth legs on clutch pedal while driving... Finally harsh and bully riding... All these factors are the reason for low mileage in any car ... 👆👆🚗⛽
diesel mileage is superb but petrol mileage is very less around 14 ..people may hv different opinions regarding this

I purchased dzire instead of amaze just because of these few reasons nmbr one rear windows don't roll down to its limit second rear head rest is not adjustable Third arm rest touches the seat which reduces comfort of hand..and last two.. allow style is outdated and no led headlights neither in rear
Im bought dzire 2018. But speaking frankly the car's body shell is like a tin can and even a small punch will dent the vehicle. Secondly i have used for around 28k and the clutch is a sort of problem which makes the vehicle vibrating in 1st and 2nd. I have zxi model. Suspension too not that great compared to old model dzire which ahs a solid body shell and good suspension...
