- Honda Amaze has always been among the top favourites in the sub-compact sedan segment. And with the launch of its second generation model in 2016, its popularity touched new heights. But is it as reliable as Maruti Suzuki Dzire? We try and answer that in our long term review. We drove the Amaze diesel for more than 3 months, and have clocked over 10000 Kms.

Just made a family roadtrip from Kolkata to Konark and back on Amaze Automatic Diesel. Amazing ride....
i bought honda amaze S diesel model in january 2019. have driven it almost 15000 km.
average will be around 27-28 kmpl on highway @80-90km/h with AC on
average in city will be around 19-21 kmpl with AC on.
Engine is best. even better than dzire and i20. almost same maintance cost compare to maruti dzire.
must buy under 4 meter sedan my final verdict.

Am i the only one, who think, atleast Amaze top model should be offered with 6 airbag.
If amaze top model comes with 6 airbags then price also increases when any car come with 1.2 lit engine that time no one expects price above 9 to 10 lac.

It is a perfect all rounder sedan. The only negative aspect I found is the diesel engine NVH.

I brought amaze v Diesel model in April.. After lots of research. I loved it. It is far better than any other car in the same range. I drived 2200km in two days. I didn't feel any stress. Car runs steadily on 140 km speed. Service cost is also low. If any one want to purchase amaze your choice is best
@vishnu vardhan I also have amaze v diesel...but do you feel any lag while accelerating...and noise in the cabin...and also is it a safe car??? Bcoz now I feel that I made a mistake...did I?? In the same segment..Aspire is there.. What about it's body??? Weak??

I agree with you as I am a Honda Amaze idtec 2015 owner and my vehicle clocked 52000 km without any flaw. Previously I owned maruti Zen petrol 2002
But Amaze is much better.
Some times in 150 km.trip without ac it returned 29 kmpl
On high way from Prayag raj
To Varansi.
Maintenance cost is similar to other vehicles.
Noisy nahi hai.. Desire se sailent hai.. Or Amazing h.

I am using from 1year. Few things which I didn't like
1. Headlight sucks
2. If u throttle little hard there is little body rattling sound from front side.
3.if u are around 5.7' or above height door side grab handles will be touching your eyebrows if you turn head.
4. Dashboard glove box is bit loose & noisy
What I liked.
1. Petrol Engine is smooth & silent.
I was fixed in my mind that I'll go for ford aspire but after watching this guys review I'm confused again .. he is such a good reviewer...

Mere pass city hai 2007. And uske jaisi koi gaadi maruti me nahi aaj tak maine 4.5 lac km. Chalai hai or aaj bhi chalaane pe lagta nahi ki purani gaadi chala raha hu

@@xabefgh which model..base or the upper one...that will tell what all is required. Incase you are looking at top model...then nothing more than bucket seat n a 7D mat will do the needful..rest rain wiper , door guard , mud flap n chrome if you are fond of... 🙏

I am using it, you can think of an alternative. More focus is on look and style than comfort specially while driving. And head rests are annoying as well.

Like Honda amaze your review is also balanced. Only downside about amaze is child safety, otherwise overall package is very decent. Love you and your review brother.

Using it now for more than one year..Overall amazing car but one majar problem is glove box..it comes out straight away wen u driving on rough road or speed breaker...service centre change my glove box in warrenty....lock problem does solve but still der is gap between glove box edges and it makes annoying noise still...2nd problem is headlights...It has below average lights...so a bit difficult in night driving

For your information Honda iTDEC Earth green engine is all alluminium and such engines make more noise in comparison to traditional engines. This thing was also visible in Maruti Zen I drove Zen for17 years and I noticed this.

wrong information h kuch kuch aur ac Vali toh bilkul galat h, ghatiya ac h m yahi car use Kar Raha hu, 3rd class interior h console aaj Tak set nahi hua hilta rehta h sab. Bahar se dikhne m achi h bus.
