Thanks for the compliment. I know you can also use chipping fluid but the salt allows for a finer, smaller chip affect which I think looks more in scale with these 1/72 kits.
A very well done diorama! I think it came together very nicely and most importantly, you had fun building it!! The techniques and skills you have developed with your figure painting will serve you well on future projects. I agree with you completely about the scratch building aspects of the hobby! Awesome!!
wow, the lighting is very simple yet affective... brings everything to life. also being a noob at electronics i always learn a lot from your vids. love it cheers
Nicely done! I like everything about this kit and diorama. I also learned something. I would like to try lighting up a kit someday and need all the help I can get. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your next video...
Nice job, and very creative in combining the two kits. If you were to add engine lights to this 1/72 scale kit, which ones would you recommend using? Thanks.
Absolutely outstanding diorama! Tip-top work. Thank you so much for posting up your work-in-process and hints and tips.
You’re welcome. I appreciate all the kind words too, thank you
Oh, good job sir! Excellent attention to detail. I can just imagine those two by the cart having a conversation before the pilot boards the ship.
The salt chipping looks unreal! Thats going in my book of tricks! Great work man!

Excellent diorama! You managed to give all that gear a pretty good Star Wars vibe.
One of your best! I love the diorama aspect.

burt panzer thanks....my first choice would be a flickering SMD chip sized from modeltrainsoftware.com. Another possible option, 1.8mm flickering LED.
Ok, 1.8mm flickering LED's sounds like something I can handle... thanks.
Nice Video
Paint the switch!!
Didn't want to take the chance of paint seeping into it.
Understood; try dry-brushing.
Will give it a shot...thanks
