Motorcycle Makeover: New S&S 2 into 1 Pipes, and Saddlemen Bags!!!

- Our motovlog follows Meg and Cameramn's life on two wheels. We do everything from basic installs, to bike weeks, to touring, to test rides, to riding the greatest roads in America. We look for Big Foot along the way. Our attitude is to make the most out of every moment right now and do everything we are passionate about because tomorrow is never promised. Meg rides a Harley Davidson Low Rider S. Cameraman (Michael- and no he dosen't mind the nickname) rides a Harley Davidson Breakout. We grew up in Westminster, Maryland and continue to live in Maryland in our adult lives. We frequently rides the roads on Carrol County, Frederick County, and Howard County Maryland. We also sell calendars and other channel related merch.
Cameraman and Meg own a car wash company together. Camerman has been in the car wash industry for over a decade. Meg is also an attorney who owns her own law firm.

pipes look great ,have friends that have them sound great , the HD down load is sufficient , no decal pop or when execrating good choice .

Sns stealth air filter is a very good filter. The stock filter even tho they all say its a high flow filter, has a crap back plate. Definitely upgrade to a better aftermarket filter to complement that bad ass pipe. Fueling has that BA air filter woth a sick manifold that comes in red, that would look awesome with your bike. Check it out.....fueling BA air filter

I was sitting at the local Twin Peaks "breasteraunt" and one of the girls saw your video as I was watching it... her comment... "Hey, she's a badass biker b*tch with a girly-girl side... that's cool!!". I had to chuckle given how many times over numerous videos that Cameraman has said "That's what she said"... glad to see the Lowrider coming together. You've definitely made your mark on her... and while I personally am not a fan of softbags (I'm too old school and prefer the leather), they do look great on your ride and definitely got some useable storage space. Keep up the great content and major respect to you and Cameraman for the hard work.

My roadglide st stage 2 with the d&d 2 into 1 has a distinct sound and a lot of power. Now I'm waiting for tue slap it on videos.

Sounds great 👌 S&S makes great stuff. If you decide you don't like that tuner I'd go with power vision. Much better tuner but they both do the trick. Ride safe y'all ✌️😎

Hey Meg and Camera Man, have you looked into an adjustable brake linkage for the rear brake? Raising the foot pedal to a higher position really helps. The position can be adjusted without the adjustable linkage, but it is much easier to adjust with the linkage. I put the Greene Brothers Designs one on my Low Rider ST and it improves the feel of the rear brake. I think Moto Blonde did this mod as well. Just an option.

A solution for you Meg on the intake is to replace the filter with a k&n. It is a hi flow and the k&n finishes it off. I just ran out of warranty myself so now it's time to decide on which stage 2 to go with. I also want to change my exhaust to a 2 to 1 and considered S & S but hesitant bc of brake pedal relocation. I have homework to do!

Glad you got the bags, I do quite a bit of touring during the summer and for me and most riders I know, saddlebags are a must-have. Even if you are just going for a weekend somewhere saddlebags are still awesome to have. I ride up to Bethany Beach, OC Beach, or Cape May sometimes for the weekend and I don't need a seat bag because of them. I have bag liners that were made for my bike's bags (07 Yamaha Royal Star tour deluxe) and I just get to where I'm staying and remove them with all my stuff in them. Super convenient. Ride safe and enjoy your upcoming trip! Have you guys announced where you'll be at OC bike week in September?

I have the S&S off road 2 into 1 pipes on my LRS. Its a little too loud. I have a 128ci motor though. Get a Power Vision and have it dyno tuned.

you can go bigger with intake this can all be done using stock valve springs, have fun!

Yeah it was rough but now it’s ready to go cross country.
When was the last time you bled the brakes or had the fluid checked. I recently put on Galfer pads on my bike and they seem to grab pretty good. On a long trip, might want to use earplugs or wear a helmet that covers your ears. Wind noise can be tiring.
Literally checked them less than a month ago. The rear brake has sucked from day 1.
Watching the younger riders getting into motorcycling then moving to upgrades and performance makes me all warm n fuzzy inside when the Vrods hit a younger friend bought one upgraded the injectors and exhaust only to learn an antique high performance Shovelhead was capable of holding it's own making him down shift to pull away only to have that antique Harley pull right back up on him and pass him...

@@megsmotorcyclejourney The size of them is a bit nerve racking at first but they are so well balanced and easy to ride and perfect for the Long Hauls I was definitely hesitant when I bought my 2017 coming off a Dyna Street Bob but what a huge comfort difference on long rides 🦅🇺🇲🍺

Loud pipes save lives…so the saying goes. 😅 I also started my stage one recently with a Tab slip on with the Zombie baffles. Holy shitballs that thing is loud! I’m gonna need to start riding with ear plugs 😂. For the air cleaner, I’m going with the V&H naked so I can reuse my stock cover (Sport Glide). And, the Fuel pack 4. Hopefully by Biketoberfest it’ll be done…

Hate to sound a bit on the negative side but you need to upgrade your microphone systems. The lack of good sound quality while you are conversing with each other and your guests is very distracting.

They don’t make them to fit this bike except the unevenly sized ones on the ST. I don’t like them. These are good solution for me

Exhaust pipes are like an instrument. Many different sounds. If you change the head pipe it will be louder and if you do a Stage II you will get more of a Thump Thump Thump sound.
