I don’t wanna be the only one who says I’ve been on a Harley Davidson my whole life from my pops n mom sitting in the middle of them raisen up to now 56 years later n still on my Harley Davidson ultra recliner till the day I die It’s cool u get to ride other brands n tell us about them n i pass info along so keep it up her two wheels n go buckeye girl go
Great to see that Indian quickly addressed what were considered faults with the 2022 Chief. Lean angle, and short rear suspension. They raised the bike 1 inch by great fox 4 inch rear suspension. The front suspension was improved by putting the Challenger inverted forks on and them put Brembo Breaks on also and also lowered the rake for quicker turn ins. I glad Jess liked the fairing, myself at 6 foot I would put the large windscreen on. And I would put the forward control footboards accessory also. There are several options on the handle bars and risers also, so it can fit just about anyone's liking. I am going to give this a hard look this spring. It may make a great stable mate and change of pace to my Victory Cross Country. Guess I will be visiting Pony Powersports in Columbus, OH soon.
I've watched you test ride plenty of bikes, but have never been so motivated to go test ride one as much as this. What a beautiful machine! Also, Sponge Bob at Sandy's house? Love it!
I am only 5'5" and 75yrs old, so I am really glad that I can still ride and I ride an Indian scout 60 and love this bike to death. The stock seat on a 60 is ten times better than the stock scout seat. I also put raisers on and a fly screen windshield. Indians Rock 😊❤😊
Jess, the reason why you scrape peg is because you have a mean lean!😊❤😊 keep safe and thank you for such nice videos, you are just so super nice! We love you lots ❤️🥰❤️🥰Happy Trails always ❤
Oh, that giggle when you hit sport mode. That was absolutely fantastic!! Loved your candid, objective view of the bike. This doesn't dissuade me from wanting the Challenger, but whew, I'd love to test one of these out one day!
@@HerTwoWheels Great review thanks! As you recently rode the BMWr18 would you say this "Native Ameican" bike has a more comfy rear suspension thant the German ? Thanks!
it's the delighted giggling for me lol. It's time for a new sidepiece and Jess's videos are a major part of my research. I've been on a Honda VTX for almost 10 years. It's giving. me issues, plus I just need MORE in almost every aspect. Initially was only considering the scout with some mods because I really don't want a heavier bike, but seriously considering the Chief now.
Great review and love your enthusiasm. I'm waiting for the first sport chief to arrive in Australia to look at. I'm currently eyeing on the scout rogue. Cheers from Sydney...
I have a super chief limited 116, a ‘17 Roadmaster and my betting half has a scout 60. I test road the new Sport Chief at Daytona Bike Week & love it too, except I hate mid controls. I’m 62 with both knees operated on as well as a shoulder after I got hit in ‘15 on my Yamaha 1700. I’m also short at 5’7” but only a 29” inseam and mid controls are a no go for me. But there’s options if anyone wants to change it up.
I’m also 5’7” and have been curious about how the 10” riders feel compared to the stock 6”. My previous bike had mini apes and forward controls, wondering if the 10” risers with stock mid controls will work for me, or if I need forward controls too. Appreciate any advice
Great video. This is actually my least favorite Chief based on looks alone. I dislike the quarter fairing and extra height. I have ridden them all. I preferred the Bobber and Super limited the most. But absolutely am going to subscribe and watch more of your videos. Really enjoyed the info you shared and quality.
I want one of these bikes. I recently had an ankle fusion and think the lighter weight compared to a Harley will be beneficial to me when maneuvering on it.
I’m looking to put an Indian in my stable! :) come ride up in New England/upstate New York for some pretty scenery. I did Austin liked it, road and got lost in the NE loved it. Looking to do the Rockies next. 😁
The Red though. Its become your color somehow. Honestly, it's probably my next bike. Idk when, but everything about it seems awesome. Haven't heard any bad reviews on it.
Honestly, I've been to literally all 3 of the dealerships in my area and no thanks... I've owned a couple Springfields and a scout and while the bikes are fine, the garbage dealer experience ruins it.
Great review, however you failed to mention the difference (if any) you felt with the taller windscreen. I watched this entire video just for that as I have the standard screen and am thinking of getting the taller one.
Awesome glad you enjoyed it and not other brand snop u know😂 glad u experienced different bikes and share ur honesty opinion I have Indian for several y now. now I'm thinking of another thx,,,😂
was always wondering about Indian. only reason i would hesitate is cuz there isnt a dealer close to me in far northern Cali. closest is Sacramento and i dont want to trailer it that far if i have a problem
I am 5'9" with a 31" inseam. Are my knees going to be in my chest? I just KNEW I was going to love the Low Rider S until I did a demo ride. The moment I took off and realized where exactly my pegs were, I knew I was going to hate it. Luckily the demo ride only took about 15 minutes, but it was 15 cramped minutes of feeling like my knees were in my chest and just waiting to get back so I could get off of it. For me personally, I've found that everything I dislike about Harleys, Indian does better. Everything I like about Harleys, Indian does better too, but that's just me. I'm hoping for a forward control option or just more comfortable mids.
Polaris Had to do what they did in the 1st Decade where they made the big heavy full fender bikes so people wouldn't say it was a Victory with a Name Change, that had to Sell everyone on the Fact that Indian Was Back........but look at their line up now they barely have a handful of the full fender bikes anymore, Most are more REAL Modern Day Fenders and they are getting a lot of good press from the new models, but they had to start with the nostalgic old look to get the biker community to buy in.
Hi Jess, You're one busy girl. Pleased to hear that you are thinking of coming to Laconia's 100th in June. Should you need a place to stay, a room or a place to set up your tent (I'm an hour's ride away), or just want to ride some backroads away from the mobs. Please reach out with a reply.
That was a good video, Jess. I like the Indian. That bike has a lot of power. The only thing I would change would be to put a set of 10-inch mini-apes on it. How is the seat on that bike? Will it require a Saddleman?
Jess was on the bike for 6 hours maybe more and said the seat was so comfortable she could easily keep going. Indian sport chief does have an upgraded comfort seat for 260 dollars I believe.
I don’t wanna be the only one who says I’ve been on a Harley Davidson my whole life from my pops n mom sitting in the middle of them raisen up to now 56 years later n still on my Harley Davidson ultra recliner till the day I die

Nice bike that fits you well…. Thanks for the excellent feedback. Ride safe Jess!

Same. I REALLY want to go demo ride this bike now!
Welcome to Texas hopefully you'll come back in November for the Long Star Rally in Galveston. Awesome time
Great video thank you very well done nice bike thanks for taking us along cheers to ya.

Welcome to Austin Jess! Great video and I ride those same roads you did since I live just outside of Austin.
I’ve been waiting so long for this one! So many giggles, they give you the best bike ranking system ever!
That bike looks great on you! Looks like a fantastic ride! Absolutely beautiful!
It looks like you were in the Texas hill country which has some terrific roads.
You are clearly very good at reviewing motorcycles. Love it! Ride safe and keep that beautiful smile of yours.
Lol shooters gonna shoot
Jess, the reason why you scrape peg is because you have a mean lean!😊❤😊 keep safe and thank you for such nice videos, you are just so super nice! We love you lots ❤️🥰❤️🥰Happy Trails always ❤

Jess *normal mode* yeah this is nice *sport mode* insane giggling!!!! Love it 😂
Great review and thanks!
Great looking bike & great video!
This bike would be an absolute rocket. Indian has great attention to detail.
ive seen just about every video made from this press day and youre the first to mention the rear cylinder shut off. So thanks for that
Fun review Jess. Nice work on the video. Ride safe!
How does this compare to the Lowrider S? As soon as I saw this bike, I was like that made their version of The FXLRS. It looks great!
That's a sweet looking bike. And kudos to Indian for such a complete standard package. Nice video!
welcome to the Indian world.....i LOVE my bike....yes..it is a Scout...but I LOVE it...and think I might LOVE that Sport Chief someday.
The shaking windshield would really irritate me! Thanks for your review.
I’m loving all your Indian Motorcycle content ❤
You look at home on that Indian Jess, nice bike good video loved it!

The rear cylinder shutting of is something Appa will do for you.
Nice bike.
I like this bike, I have ridden the Chieftain and I was impressed!
I own a low rider s, 2022 and I've been thinking about test riding one of these...Will have to see for myself!
Great review and love your enthusiasm. I'm waiting for the first sport chief to arrive in Australia to look at. I'm currently eyeing on the scout rogue. Cheers from Sydney...
14:27 - love the display
That new Indian looks like a ripper ..👍🏻🇦🇺
You fit that bike more than any other bike I've seen you on. Watch your own video you'll see what I mean.
Ooo mmm geee you’re so right Tom
The Sport Chief nailed the look.
Agree
I absolutely love the roads you were riding. While this particular scooter is not my thing, you have shown me SEVERAL I would truly appreciate owning.
Most excellent video Jessica 👍🤙✌️

Nice review keep up the good work your favorite color Her Two Wheels
They are an amazing bike, test rode one a while back, much lighter than my Chieftain!
Nice ! Thanks for sharing looks like a great new bike , like you said lots of tech in a small package , great to see all this new stuff 👍😎
Thanks for watching!
Ivey that 116 rips that little frame. Wow😳👍👍😎😎
Thanks for the video jess that's a beautiful bike can't wait for the next one keep em coming
Yeah sick, I was waiting for this video 🤙

Great review
Nice review you did good
I've been so curious to see what you thought of this. Looks like it needs hard bags though.
Soft bags and Indian needs more aftermarket support
you can get the Indian Chief bags as an accessory
I want one of these bikes. I recently had an ankle fusion and think the lighter weight compared to a Harley will be beneficial to me when maneuvering on it.
Fantastic presentation 🎉
Fantastic video!

Inverted front forks from the challenger is the real Game Changer here.
I like the red on this bike
The Red though. Its become your color somehow. Honestly, it's probably my next bike. Idk when, but everything about it seems awesome. Haven't heard any bad reviews on it.

Windscreen plastic/acrylic needs to be thicker so it doesn’t vibrate so much.
Just like on C2W's video of this bike, the wind screen wobbles so much
Love those Indian motorcycles!
They just keep getting better and better 👍
Sport Chief does look good!
was always wondering about Indian. only reason i would hesitate is cuz there isnt a dealer close to me in far northern Cali. closest is Sacramento and i dont want to trailer it that far if i have a problem
Works for me 👍
what does the different modes actually do?
Time to join the tribe Jess. It fits you well.
Is the quarter fairing worth adding as far as wind protection / comfort?
Beautiful looking bike but,I definitely wouldn't fit having short arms and a 26" inseam.Priced to high also.
Please tell me the road you were on I have to find them.
How does the clutch lever feel?? Is it as hard as a Harley?
I’m getting this or the rogue
I wonder if they have highway pegs, I'm 6'2" 34 in. Inseam
I enjoyed the video. I wonder how the ergos compare to the scout rogue.
Night and day difference. The scout rogue physically injured me. This bike was MUCH more comfortable
Could you set this bike up to carry camping gear? I notice it’s a solo seat.
beautiful bike
Have you ridden the Rogue yet?
Yep: th-cam.com/video/y4Z5tbdi0KI/w-d-xo.html
COOL!
It looks like a really nice decent Bike but... the wobble in the windshield triggers me so hard 😅 Greetings from Germany ✌️
I never noticed it while riding 😂
I am 5'9" with a 31" inseam. Are my knees going to be in my chest?

One question. Sport chief or low rider s?

What the price of one of these?

@@cbrippee, thank you.
What did you refuse to do on it? Keep it in sport mode?
Nice job
How long before you add one to your stable 😅?
Light bike?
What kind of mix do you use to record while riding?
nice bike your videos are great
Thanks!
YES I AM VERY INTERESTED IN RIDEING MOTORCYCLE 🏍 WITH SOME FRIENDS
So what was the “One thing?”
I don't like red, but that red is awesome
I like the red helmet with any red bike!
That baby ride as good as a good wing not that same by no means 😃
That bike is owesome, now is 8k too expensive, all that money printing has screwed us all.
Buy one for Jordan
