I've been carnivore for 1.5 years. I've lost 40 lbs and body pains pretty much none existent now. I am 58 and I'm getting back into wheelies on my Dyna. Before Carnivore I was truly getting very old and now I look and feel so so much better. Lifestyle that fixes your lifestyle. Rooting for you guys.

Mike I also was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I am also a veteran and I am always asked be my tribe if mine could be service connected. Mine is really rare and not much known about it. Good luck with the carnivore life style and I will be watching to check on the progress. Keep fighting brother as that is what we do.

While my wife does not have an autoimmune disorder, through a functional medicince doctor, she changed alot of her eating habits and saw her inflammation go way down by following their recommendations. For sure was not a cheap process but, the quality of life she gained back was worth it. May you both continue to have great health and loving relationship. Cheers.

One of the things that I found helpful is making my own beef jerky. I just keep a bag of it on the kitchen counter and grab a few pieces for a snack where in the past I would've grabbed a handful of chips or cookies. Good luck!

Michael, I applaud your willingness to change your lifestyle and diet! I too, have an auto immune disease, rheumatoid arthritis. I can totally relate to the joint swelling and vast array of drugs. I’m 63 and what I have found to the best combo for myself, carnivore, and keeping my body in motion. As they, say motion is life! Begin a consistent weight training regiment and follow your diet to the best of your ability. I’m excited to follow along on your journey and can’t wait to see all your progress! Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis patient myself. I have controlled a lot of it with diet and exercise as well but I do have to get infusions every 8 weeks. Keep fighting and go with what works. 7 years ago I thought life was over in my early 40s and I have my life back. I have been there with horrible psoriasis head to toe and thought anything that required the use of my hands was a lost cause. I have joint damage in my hands, collar bones, hips, etc. I truly wish and hope you have a pain free life. I get to do everything I want now. Since I have gotten control I have snowboarded more days than I can count, climbed Mt St Helens, surf, and taken up riding motorcycles. Life goes on and you CAN control this.

I was in the best shape of my life when I was on the keto diet training for a triathlon. Life and work circumstances caused me to fall out of it for several years and now I’m currently trying to get back into keto. This is the best life style change you could ever do ! My husband and I have been doing this for about 21/2 years within 6months we lost about 60 lbs ! He’s 64 I’m 58 we feel amazing! The question I get asked a lot is how do you poop with no fiber actually better than I have my whole life for once in my life I’m regular it’s the extra fat and meat ! I use pork rinds for everything I crunch them up and use on chicken, pork chops, meatloaf, fish ! People think we’re nuts and going to die of a massive heart attack but we’ve been lied to and brainwashed by the medical field and I think the vegans and vegetarians are in on it lol ! Good luck you guys! ! ❤❤

Great vid guys. The main things everybody must remove from their diet are sugar, wheat, vegetable and seed oils, all highly processed foods ,high carb food and most fruits which are high in fructose. Stick to an 18 hour fasting ,6 hour eating day and your life will change for the good in no time.

Good for you both! So happy for you Mike, that your pain has diminished. Pay no mind to the haters who love to repeat the crooked government agencies talking points, preaching that meat will kill you or give you a heart attack. There are far more people out there doing better on it that who are not. Inflamation is the root cause of pain and every food out there, except meat, aggravates it. Good luck you two and I hope to keep hearing of your carnivore "journey".

Welcome to the carnivore lifestyle!! I'm 62 and went carnivore just over 3 months ago (along with working out). The first few weeks were rough, but I've dropped 50 pounds and feel like I'm in my mid-20s again. Inflammation used to sideline my Fat Bob quite a bit, but I think this lifestyle just bought me another 20 years or so of riding. Best of luck to both of you on your journey!

Right on - I was on the Keto diet for most of last year before switching over to full Carnivore. I lost over 50 pounds and felt great. But I missed the variety of Keto and honestly I felt better on Keto. I also noticed my vision got WAYYY better and my psoriasis looked better also. Mine didn't cleared up fully but it got WAY better and WAY more manageable without any prescription drugs.
BE CAREFUL of cheat days - I would let myself have a cheat day once a week and then around the holidays I would let myself eat whatever I wanted. Now the bad thing is, I've had a REALLY hard time getting back on the diet and for the last 5 months have returned to my old eating habits.
Glad y'all are feeling better on the diet - it's a great way to live and 99% of the grocery store is irrelevant!! HA!

His son, Matt, has picked up the keys and is continuing the work. If you like older/antique American bikes you'll not find (in my opinion) a better, more complete collection.) After you've been on it for a while even a McDonald's sweet tea gives you a sugar rush. One thing I found out is shrimp is like a superfood. Stick to it it gets easier. Hey you two. Sorry to hear of your troubles, Mike. I too, have an auto immune condition. Mine is Immune Mediated Necrotizing Myopathy. Basically my immune system is attacking my muscles. So my muscle enzymes rise to combat the damage being done by my immune system. As the enzymes rise, my immune system says this isn't right and attacks the muscles to keep them in check. So it's a vicious cycle. It's debilitating. I lost 60 lbs. In 3 months. Being 6'2" tall, normally 220 lbs and going to 160 was scary. I lost so much muscle, I could barely walk, I couldn't dress my self, I was so bad, I had difficulty swallowing. After al.ost a year of every kind of testing imaginable, and seeing countless Doctors and specialists, my Rheumatologist did a muscle biopsy and that's when we found it. God knows I've taken so many meds, steroids, immune suppressors, etc. I go for infusion theropy every 6 months with a med called retuxant. I has been working really well for me. Due to this condition I have been unable ride. It's been 27 months and 24 days since my last ride. BUT, this month I will be able to ease back into it. I had to retire because of this as well. So now I concentrate on my health and getting back on two. Motorcycling was my life. It was my hobby and my career (motor officer), and now I can finally get back to it. I wish you nothing but the best in your recovery. And I will definitely be researching this carnivore lifestyle. I do love meat and am a advid hunter and fisher. So it wouldn't be hard to get in to. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. This could be a game changer for so many people. I'll keep following (been a subscriber since your second or third video). You guys are a blast. There are over 100 different autoimmune diseases. Your's is very rare. Best wishes getting back in the saddle. I have psoriatic arthritis and multiple back issues. Finally realized my riding days were over about 3 years ago. Broke my heart. 😢 Been in the wind since age 16 and am now 69 and a great-grandma.

Hey Meg and Mike, I've done carnivore on and off with good results, a big tip is to use Celtic Sea Salt not processed salt, the Celtic salt will give you all essential minerals the body is depleted in due to modern chemicals in food, it also makes the body absorb water to a cellular level, best of luck and prayers for Michael.

I lost 40lbs in 41 days. But I don’t suggest getting cancer and blood clots. My aunt has lupus, so I know all about auto immune disease. Live in WV. What part of WV do you’ll ride? Lost my job 2 years ago due to a back injury, and all my insurance companies have refused me and SSI I’m still waiting on. I got 200 miles last year on 2 wheels. Good luck on the change.

I started mine about two weeks ago. Pretty much steak only. I dropped 14lbs in one week. I had to slow it down a bit by eating a small amount of normal food. It will work for sure. It slows down your digestion and keeps you from getting as hungry. Listen no need to be hungry just eat more steak. I suggest a dry sauna 3 times a week to help metabolize the fat loss. We have YMCA here but find a gym or spa with a dry sauna.

Hello yes iv done the carnivore since about February and I feel great. Now I am about 80 percent of the week carnivore. Weekends I'll have a cheat meal Friday and Saturday supper. All week is meat but it seems to help good luck.

The pain Train is REAL better to be in front than behind it. After many years of Lupus there is no guarantee fix all take a shot a pill a hot sauna. It’s a moving target. Fresh air and a little exercise works best for me. Get them bones joints tendons ligaments all of those moving around.

I deal with inflammation and pain from a condition as well. It became incapacitating last fall. I purchased an infrared sauna and it has helped immensely. I am not 100% yet and now feel I need try carnivore. I am going to reach out privately, I may be able to help with sourcing high quality meats. I also have a portable grill that is mc packable UCO Flat pack grill. I have not done carnivore, but have done low carb.
