Headers are definitely a great upgrade for the FE’s! We installed full length headers shortly after this, and it made a considerable difference in both power & throttle response! Thanks for watching! 👍🏻
Cool rig man. My dad and I share a 68 swb. He is ready for it to have some glass packs on it as well lol. I'm hoping to be able to get it some what restored for him soon. He is disabled and can no longer drive but he enjoys riding in it just as much none the less

I've been running the original 40s (not delta flow) on my F 150. Love em. I was goin to go with the super 44s next. Had read they were more aggressive. I also thought they were more aggressive than the super 40s. On the scale i seen most aggressive were the super 10, super 44, 40 original and then the super 40. IM NOT TRYIN TO CORRECT YOU. You've actually heard both, I haven't. THANKS, GREAT SOUNDING F 100.
Check flowmasters site, for most aggressive to moderate they show super 10, (original) 40 series, super 44, then super 40, then 40s delta flow even further down the line.

I have a 1983 Trans A.m T-Tops 11k original miles Viking Blue it sat for over 35 year's in the garage before my uncle sold it to me it only had 5k original miles when I got it I put 6k on it then spent the last year on the restoration I put a freshly built 355 motor in it has mild racing cam and lifters bored over .30 Holly performance intake Holly 750 4 barrel carburetor Moroso valve covers and air filter Hooker headers new Holly performance fuel pump and fuel line's brake line's transmission line's and shifter cable R400 Transmission with Posi rear end water pump hoses clamps battery was gonna put a expensive dual exhaust on it but after hearing those straight pipes I might actually save a bunch of money and just run straight pipes from the hooker headers I'll tell the caps when the pull me over it's the new outlaw exhaust lol

Loved the Island and pretty much everything there back then ,surely still just as Govt may have gotten a little squirrely, did it here too! Just don't pay attention! Lol
@@jessiecole659 I've got a 66 short bed with a 390 and it's a barn find without any rust spot very,very solid body with straight pipes came with duel exhaust but I don't like the popping sound when I down shift back to 2nd gear!!! Mines is three on the tree but overall she does good to be my daily driver everything works on her even the inside dome light and speedermometer!!!

Prices are quite high right now especially on the bumpside & dentside trucks. Anything “nice” is fetching $20k + in most cases. I bought the ‘68 from the US, and even with the cost of transport to get it up here, it was still significantly cheaper than most of the outrageous prices around here!

My daily is a super clean Survivor f250 sport custom camper special with a big block and 78 k also a 69 250 crew cab short box and a 68 crew. And f100 my favorites! Put 545k on the 69 Crew, hopefully this year gonna do extensive body work. No dents just rust,lots of it. Daily driver for 40 plus years

Still own my first automobile and many other things. And Guess what? They are easy to maintain and do Just Fine! And it's amazing to own an old vehicle that's maintained and works well. Lots of compliments, surely you get them from yours! And enjoy having it. And they are simple and uncomplicated.

Headers on an FE will add 20 easy hp... The stock passenger manifold is very restrictive.

Ford built those fifth generation F-series pickups from 1967 through 1972, & same with the medium duty models with that same cab design.
