That trailer coupler ain't goin' NOWHERE !!! 🤣 You are a genuinely kind person Chris, most folks would've verbally crucified the guy that worked on your trailer, but... you showed his failures and laid the blame on his equipment. Most folks wouldn't have done that. God sees how you treat people, and... He is pleased. 😇
I agree, the guy who did the work, put a lot of effort into fixing it up, redoing the welds was a small task compared to it, so I get why Chris approached it the way he did. I am sure he wants to be able to ask the guy again for similar work.
This is my 93 yr old Dad's (still with us!!!) favorite car of all time. I remember as a youngster, we'd see one driving by, he'd point it out and say, "Some day when I get rich, I'll buy one of those!". Of course, life got in the way, him and my Mother, God rest her AWESOME soul, worked bloody hard to raise my four siblings and I, and to make sure we never went without. We were never rich, but we never doubted they loved us. I remember when I was a know-nothing selfish "tweener" and there was a school Halloween carnival that I wanted to go to so bad (cause there'd be girls there!) that my Dad said he'd take us to, well, the time came and went and Dad didn't get home till hours after the carnival was over. I threw a mini-tantrum,slammed a few doors, said some things I wished I could take back, but I got over it. Years later I learned my Dad had taken a second job to make ends meet. Never complained, never made excuses, never shoved it in our faces, just fulfilled his responsibilities as a father to his family. Gets me choked up just to type this, thinking of ALL the sacrifices they made on our behalf. My God, we've been blessed to be raised by such selfless, nurturing parents.

Reminds me of the old story about a guy whose car breaks down a block from a service station, he pushes the car there, tells the mechanic what happened, the mechanic pulls out a stethoscope, takes a listen, gets his ball peen hammer and carefully takes a whack at a specific spot. The mechanic tells the guy that that will cost him $50.00. The guy is shocked, and says, "I could have done that with my hammer". The mechanic replies, "I don't think so! I knew where to hit!" You, sir, are Mr. Determination, Mr. KnowHowToDoIt. Nice job.
Jen: Where are you going Chris? Chris: Going to work, out in a field at night turning over a junk engine. I love you tube and this is the kind of thing you need to do to be successful. Which is great for us and great for you.

"Will it run? Yes! Why? 'Cause I got problems!". I loved that response. Chris, you truly are a master technician and I envy your automotive abilities. Hats off to you and a definite two thumbs up to you, buddy.
The early sixties T birds were something special. I know I had one. The first thought I have when I see a specialty car like this that has been sitting I cannot help but wonder why they parked it. What stopped it dead in its tracks over fourty years ago. Maybe this fella can find a small clue as to why. Good luck.
I LOVE the 61-63 Thunderbirds. Any Thunderbird of the 60's is great though, 60-69 were some of the best looking cars made and had quite a few innovations in them. My dream would be a 63 Thunderbird Monaco, I drove one a few years back and just didn't have the space to buy it.
The '61-'63 are also my favorite cars. I've owned two '63's and a '61. My sister owned a '62. Unfortunately I'm just too old to be taking car of an older car like that now. My heart was broken when this guy just ripped that hood to pieces.

Mega skilled and with loads of stubborn determination to reach your goals + a video camera documenting your journeys make this a new favorite channel for me. I just stumbled upon this channel last night and I am so glad that I did...Getting that 390 to run again was truly remarkable. Now I have a lot of your videos to catch up on. Keep them coming.
I'm only 5mins into the video, but MAN what a beautiful car. It'll be just my luck the engine will be a dud. Lets keep watching and find out....
I can never get over the way people leave a car for "storage", bad enough they leave it outside in the open but they really screw up by not making sure the windows are up and the air cleaner is in place.
People are dumb...
Hey thank you for helping him get home. You are a actual good person. Nobody will know but I will
"Will it run? Yes! Why? 'Cause I got problems!". I loved that response. Chris, you truly are a master technician and I envy your automotive abilities. Hats off to you and a definite two thumbs up to you, buddy.
You’ve have got to be one of the best technicians I’ve have ever seen, awesome 👏 work, Guss man
The early sixties T birds were something special. I know I had one. The first thought I have when I see a specialty car like this that has been sitting I cannot help but wonder why they parked it. What stopped it dead in its tracks over fourty years ago. Maybe this fella can find a small clue as to why. Good luck.
God job with the thunderbird, and that trailer turned out great!
There must be some unwritten law that when you park a car in the woods, you are required to take the air filter assembly off lol.
I love the way he brought this dinosaur to life, great video, of what is possible!!! Great work-
I LOVE the 61-63 Thunderbirds.
These old birds were still on the road when I was a tech at ford in the late 70s. Once in a while we would see one come in for service. Cool cars.
I'm definitely not going to pull the valve covers...pulls valve covers. Great stuff, love your channel!
