I’m no expert on how to play. But I think your table talk could have done with some work. Telling Blue not to fall for trades and saying GG red so early. Idk, that would put me off helping you. Could just be me though, I’m not a strong player by any means and could have terrible table talk.
13:26, I think you should have popped and city up since your solo 9 was always getting blocked, but if you have the other 9 city up, it tends for robber to be on the shared 9, also you get 2 sheep’s if a 10 rolls which would make it easier for you to pop later on in the game
I love how dandy said it was a massive mistake to give white the 6-2, when letting Dandy have it would give him the best of every resource except for wood, which he’s still on a 5 for lmao
Tbh I think at the 13:30 mark you should of used that wood and brick to plow either to the wood port or too the 5-8, you had just enough to take either spot. Which gives you your settle that you need so everything after is devs and cities and if dice fall right you can take road. But you played well brotha see ya later.
Sup dandy! One moment the caught my attention was not porting 2:1 at 18:03, cause one 9 roll gets you to 8 cards. You think the right play was holding for diversity? Anyways, love your content, keep the videos up!
Brick Mafia for the win.🎉 I did the same thing I 4th picked the sheep port then 3 sheep. I just ported for the win. Sometimes that's the winning strategy. Focus on a monopoly win.
I think you were a little biased against white’s plow. It really didn’t hurt them as much as you made out. It’s also an absolutely crucial spot for them, with no other single road/settles, or ports. The sheep they ported didn’t really hurt them in the long run; mostly, they didn’t roll sixes which left them with only sheep and brick, and you can’t do much with that. I would have 100% done what they did there.
The variance of losing 33 cards really hurt me this game. Nothing wrong with the devs. I pulled 6 devs in total which gave me 2 vps, 1 extra knight, and a road builder
Feel free to be more specific in terms of which hands and plays. The interesting play worth reviewing was the 4 roads, sheep and 4 ore hand. I could have ported the ore for a wheat and dropped 3 roads on the 2 ore to plow white and get the 3:1. It’s an expensive play but the utility of the 3:1 might have had enough long-term benefit. I lost 10 cards to robs, 12 cards to 7ing out, 9 cards to a mono, and 2 cards to blocks… That’s 33 cards that were denied to me while I am on 9 points with winning rolls this orbit.
@@dandydrewYeah, I think 13:29 was the mistake. You were so fast to port for a dev. But you could have plowed blue toward the wood port or gotten the 3:1 on the 5 wood, which in hindsight is probably the play with the way that 5s hit and gaining a port for versatility. Sometimes I undervalue devs, especially since you would’ve been hit a lot without having any knights in hand, but when you have 4 roads in hand it’s worth considering focusing on road network instead.
Watched the whole game without realising I was black here. Haha great game dude! Love the content ❤
That's what happened to me too after voting for biden, took me by surprise

@kapu7064 Worse than 4 for 1, that road cost 2 brick, 1 ore, and 3 sheep
Yay! Excited about one more Dandy video!
I was waiting for this to drop for dinner!
It looked like there were a lot of opportunities to build towards the wood port. Gives you a road path, and you wouldn't have to 4:1 all of it.
gl in the tournament. hope to see an analysis here!
Maybe you could have ported your brick, when having 4, so another 9 does not put you over.

I think you mean 18:00, and I agree.
You are right, thank you !
Hi Dandy Drew! Where can I find info on hiring you for coaching sessions? Also, love the name lol
Shoot me a message at gmdandydrew@gmail.com or DandyDrew#9738 on discord. Looking forward to it 👍

Can you possibly drop a link on where they are going to be streaming Catan nationals? Would love to watch but not sure how
Where will it be live streamed ??
Does anyone know where the USA Catan Nationals will be streamed?
On the official Catan’s TH-cam.

Didnt I see you in a stream mention this "player's" win rate haha and how impressive it was? Welcome back
good luck at nationals. I do hope when playing OTB you let out a "Let's GooOOOooo" when your numbers roll lol
That 659 was massive had to go first
not going for road with that kind of material was the problem maybe?
lol black doesnt secure road 22:11 that is just playing with fire for absolutely no reason
Nah Bald mamba is crazy lmfaoo😂
Wow brutal game
I thought u had it
You’re the master but i think after the 3 knight you should go for more roads and settles aslo bad luck in the devs

careful about the word 'cooking' in game chat, could give your identity away, lol
Brother the dB of your mic is way too high and distorts your voice a few times.
I think you could have plowed the 6 2 had you 4 for 1’d your stone later in the game
Dandy, you gotta understand that putting both Kobe and bricks in the title is kinda disrespectful 😅
Like, comment, watch
Black hilarious with the bching and moaning that he's not gonna win.
Table talk to divert attention from me
@@vaibhavsaraf27 Well played, sir...
