Really fun game! Small thing about your video, can you zoom in to fill the screen? I’m watching on a phone, and I have to zoom in. I’m not even that old. Or I have to get that screen somewhat close to my face.

Red and Black just blew it there with that trade, they all basically needed to port their ore / wheat away to make it more unlikely for you to hit. Great game though, congrats 🙂

2 people start the game with 3 resources (kinda) that don't synergy well and all of them end on 9 with everyone having winning chances. What a Game to watch and study. 23 trades, 74 trade offers and the diversity in those trades and discussions. This is definitely one for the books. And as usual DandyDrew leading the trades.

Hello Dandy! Been watching for about half a year now, huge huge fan. I wanted to reach out because I am participating in my first Catan tournament this month on the 18th in Denver, Colorado, and was wondering if you had any tips specifically for in-person tournament play. I’ve been playing locally and online for about 15 years now, and obviously you shouldn’t give all of your goodies and tips out, I understand entirely. However, any specific knowledge about in-person tournament play that a beginner in the pro-scene would benefit from, would be greatly appreciated. Again, huge huge fan, hope you’re having a fantastic New Year! Thank you for your time and videos!

at 7:00 you talk about road settling onto the desert. I did have a game I won by doing just because I had 63wo, 8o, 5sh and 5brick to start, then settled on the coast with 8wheat and desert, which gave me huge all 5 resources and ore + wheat coordination. I do agree that normally there's better plays tho

Paused and I haven't read any other comments. And I'm a complete noob. I am picking 8-10 and 2-5. My reasoning is that will give me a solid lock on wheet, wood, and ore, and at the same time give me 2:1 trading for wood and 3:1 trading for everything else.

I can make 11's and 12's roll anytime I want in Catan. I just don't put my settlement's there, and they pop off.

Dual streaming in the future?

This is an invalid board (At lease according to 3e and 5e, I didn't check the other rules) The Numbers are supposed to be Counter-Clockwise (A5, B2, C6...)
